General
The vandal dome series offers a complete range from basic 420TVL varifocal
type to the flagship model that comes in 540TVL, DNR function and built in IR
LEDs with ICR D/N varifocal lens. The sophisticated mechanical design
enhanced the accessibility and conveniency in terms of installation. Sturdy and
IP66 enclosure ensures the camera to stay in best condition even under most
critical environment
This color CCD video camera employs a 1/3 inch charge coupled device
solid-state imaging device with 470/410 k or 310/270k picture elements, This
unit is equipped with a newly developed DNR DSP (Digital Signal Processor)
for processing the video signal.
The DNR function is a newly developed technology which suppressed all
significant noise while AGC is activated. So the camera is able to deliver
smooth and more even noise picture that enhanced readability and saved
video signal transmission traffic

installers. It is necessary to make sure that the cable hole has been protected
with waterproof installation process when the cable connect from the side by
metal pipe which is G1/2 format
Step 4: Adjust 3 Axes bracket while checking video from monitor
Installation friendly, allowing
service persons to check video
performance by simply
connecting a LCD monitor to
RCA jack
Loosen the tilt screw and then adjust the 3 Axis
bracket to get what position will you monitor

Step 6: Auto iris level adjustment
If using DC type auto-iris lens, you
will need to set the level volume
when shooting in the condition
described below.
zIf shooting simultaneously in
a dark room and through a
bright window
zIf the subject background is
extremely bright or dark
zIf the brightness of the picture
on the monitor is not correct
L (counterclockwise): To decrease the contrast
H(clockwise): To increase the contrast
Step 7: Function Setting
You can select the function according your condition the function description
please check below topic
Please check picture at right for factory default values whenever a camera
needs to be set to default again during installations

Step 8: Reinstall the dome cover to the
main body by tighten four dome cover
mounting screws
Auto Iris and AES Adjusting
If you would use Auto Electronic Shutter, please select this mode to control
exposure with the electronic shutter. The range of shutter speed is from 1/50
(1/60) set to 1/100,000 sec.
If you are using an auto iris lens, please select this mode, In this mode, the
shutter speed is fixed to 1/60 sec. for NTSC and 1/50 sec. for PAL.
Flickerless Function Adjusting
If camera is installed into different frequency, the flickerless function will reduce
the flicker of video. The shutter of NTSC is 1/100; shutter of PAL is 1/120.
When dip the switch at AES/FL side, the shutter will stay at Flickerless
situation.
Super AGC
If you are to install the camera for low lux environment, by switching to SAGC,
it will increase the camera sensitivity.
This mode is factory default setting SAGC.
White Balance Adjusting
AWB mode—Conventional auto white balance
This mode is factory default setting

-10 -
ATW mode—Advanced white balance
This mode is limited the color temperature into 2500°K-9000°K
Auto Back-light Compensation
This intelligent auto BLC is a newly developed digital light level control
system. It is activated automatically by screen histogram (contrast) and 225
area window weighting integration to control iris gain and white balance
simultaneous, so that the clear object with adequate light level can always be
optimized.
Central Window Weighted average Backlight compensation
This method is suited for cases where the main subject is fixed within the
screen.
Histogram Backlight Compensation
This method is suited for cases where the main subject moves about within
the screen.
The combination of two types Backlight makes it easier to arrange
Backlight compensation operation to match the imaging conditions and
installation location.
Mirror Adjusting
If the camera is installed in the elevators, lifts or viewing directly to the mirror,
please adjust to horizontal mirror mode.
If the camera must be installed upside down due to installation limit, please adjust to
vertical mirror mode.
Day and Night Adjusting
The smart day and night mechanical filter removable allows changing between
color and monochrome mode, and user could define the filter to work correctly
during day time (visible light) and night time (invisible light).
Day and Night Filter Automatic mode:
****Notice: The D/N should be at on position and make sure the AGC/Sense up
at SAGC / Sense up position. If the switchers are at NAGC/ Sense up off, the
filter will be stayed at day time position.
Sense Up Adjusting
Sense up stand for frame integration that is useful for the low lux environment,
the default sense up rate is 4x similar 1/15 sec.
