INTENDED USE
Thisriggingframeisintendedforusebyfullyqualied,trainedandcompetentpersonsasanaidtoprovidesafeandsecure
transportation,installationandadjustmentofprojectors.
Onlyusetheframeindoors,wherethereisnowind.
This frame is intended for use only with the projectors listed in Which Products Are Compatible With This Frame? further in
thismanual.Anyattempttousetheframewithotherprojectorsmayresultinsevereinjuryordamage.
MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
TheRiggingFrameisamaintenancefreeproduct.However,beforecarryingoutaninstallationitisessentialtoensurethat:
• No screws are missing and all screws are in the right position.
• Noscrews,adjustmentwheelsorothercomponentsaredamaged.
• Noplates,squarepipesorothercomponentsarebentorbroken.
Use a suitable tool to test each screw and make sure that none are loose.
Afteraninstallation,ensurethatallscrews,washersandinsulationsarepresentandpositionedcorrectly.

INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING
Installation errors may lead to serious accidents.
Installationshouldonlybecarriedoutbyqualiedpersonnel.
Installation should be carried out by a minimum of two persons.
Donotplacetheprojectoronslopedorunstablesurfacesasitmayfallortipover,resultingininjuryordamage.Makesure
the surface can support a weight of 210 kg (462.97 lb).
Donotexceedthemaximumweightloadsforceilingmounts.Forsuspendedinstallations,useonlydesignatedhanging
accessories such as the truss mount and the 750 kg Doughty clamp for a maximum weight load of 138 kg (304.23 lb).
Whenstackingprojectors,makesureallfourthreadedrodsaretightenedwithatorqueof5Nm.
Donotpositiontheframeinamannerwhichmayimpedeprojectorventilation.Poorventilationmayresultinare.Ensure
thatthereisatleast30cm(12in)ofspacebetweentheventilationoutletsandanywall,and10cm(4in)onallothersides.
Preventpropertydamageandpersonalinjurycausedbyincorrectinstallation.Ensuretheframeisingoodcondition,the
installationhasbeencarriedoutproperlyandtheloadcapacityofthesupportingstructureissufcienttocarrytheweightof
theentireinstallation,upto150kg(330.69lb)incl.lenses,cabling,etc.
Do not operate the projector in humid or dusty places or in places where the projector may come into contact with oily
smokeorsteam.Usingtheprojectorinsuchconditionsmayresultinre,electricshocksorplasticdeterioration.

SAFE HANDLING
Avoidinjuryfromfallingobjectsduringassemblyanddisassemblyoftheframe.Wearprotectiveshoes,glovesandhelmet.
Theframeisheavy.Usesafehandlingtechniqueswhenliftingtheframe.
Wearsafetyglovestopreventngersbeingcaughtbetweentheouterringsandtheplates.Whenadjustingtheimage,keep
your hands on the adjustment wheels at all times as shown below. Do not lean on the frame.

Setup
1. Remove the lens hood.
2. Place the projector upside down on a suitable at surface and remove
the four adjustable feet 1.
3. Place the ø10 insulation washers over each M10 screw hole 2.
Notes
This procedure requires two
persons.
It is important to use the washers
astheyprovidegalvanicisolation.
