Installation
TheMODSEQhasreversepowerprotection,sopluggingthepowercableinbackwardsshould
resultinnodamagetothemoduleitself.Howeverpluggingthingsinbackwardsisneveragood
ideaandcouldpotentiallydamageotherpartsofyoursystem.Theprotectionisthereincaseof
pluggingthepowercableinbackwardsbyaccident,pleasestilltakecaretochecktheorientation
ofthecablewhenconnectingitforthefirsttime.

Beforeinstallingpleasepoweroffyourmodularcase.Connectoneendofthecabletothe
moduleasshowninfigure1.Connecttheotherendofthecabletoyourmodularcasebus
board,pleasecheckyourcase’smanualforthecorrectorientation.Thestripeonthecable
shouldbeconnectedto12.Wehavenowstartedusingkeyedconnectorsonourpowercables.
Ifyouhaveabusboardwithashroudedheaderpleaseconfirmthattheredstripeisat12v
beforepoweringyoursystem.Afteryouhaveconnectedthepoweryoucanmountthemodule
usingtheincludedscrews,theMODSEQrequires8HPofcabinetspace.


USAGE
TheMODSEQrequiresanexternalclocktofunction,youcanuseadedicatedclockmodule
suchastheProModularCLOQ(orequivalent)astandardgate,asquarewaveLFOoranoutput
fromaclockdivider.
CLOCKIN
Connectyourclocksignaltothisjack,ideallyyourclocksignalwouldbeasquarepulsewitha
minimumvoltageof1.5v
Waveformssuchastriangles,sinesorforexamplepressurepointspressureoutsarenot
suitableforclockingandwillcausestepstoskip.

divideryoucancascadethem.
