Sleep Mode

The iDive Sleep mode and the Advanced Backlight management have been introduced in iDive O.S. 2.0.3
for iDive Easy, iDive Pro, iDive Tech, iDive Reb. Please update your iDive using the DiveLogger.

The Sleep mode allows your iDive to turn o the display if it is left motionless for some minutes.
The Sleep mode can increase the battery autonomy of the iDive up to 2 times of normal use.
The autonomy is related to how many hours the iDive is left motionless (for example on the night table)
When the Sleep mode is active the display of the iDive will be turned o. All the functions of the iDive
will continue to work properly (time, desaturation, no-y, etc.).
To turn on the screen of the iDive simply move it.
With the O.S. 2.0.3 the Sleep mode is automatically activated on each iDive.
The standard Sleep time (the time the iDive have to stay motionless)
is set to 5 minutes by default.
You can set the Sleep time (SLEEP) from the SYS SET menu.
To deactivate the Sleep mode function set the SLEEP time to 0
SLEEP: 0 (Sleep mode not active) (not suggested)
SLEEP: 1-60 (Minutes the iDive have to stay motionless to activate the sleep mode.

The Advanced Backlight management allows you to manage the backlight of the iDive.
You can set the Advanced Backlight managment (BKL MODE) from the DISPLAY menu.
AUTO: The duration of the backlight is set by the BKLTIME (variable in seconds)
MAN: The duration of the backlight is set by the user. The iDive will turn o
the backlight only if the backlight button is pressed.
(Press the top-left button to turn the backlight on, press the same button a
second time to turn the backlight o.
ATTENTION: To prevent battery draining the backlight mode will ALWAYS turn
o after 3 seconds in Watch-mode
DIVE: The backlight is automatically turned on when you are diving.
The backlight is regulated by the BKL TIME when not diving.
WARNING: The iDive allows you to set the power of the backlight (BKL LEVEL),
the duration (BKL TIME) the advanced management (BKL MODE) and the contrast (CONTRAST), accor-
ding to this setting the autonomy of the iDive can change.
For safety reason you can not change the backlight settings if the charge of the iDive is lower than 20%
