the risk of
accidents and injuries.
• Please strictly comply with the safety regulations stated in
the manual. The producer or distributor cannot be held liable
for any nancial loss, personal injury, material damage, acci-
dents or legal disputes resulting from the violation of the
safety regulations. The liability is always limited to the pur-
chase value of the e-scooter.
• Please check your e-scooter before each ride (see the main-
tenance and care section).

Handling the battery
Charging the battery:
• Ensure that the charging port and charger are dry.
• Make sure that the e-scooter is turned off. Connect the charging
cable to the charging port of the e-scooter and then connect it to
a power outlet (~230 V / 50-60 Hz).
• Check that the charging light on the charger lights up red.
• The battery is charged once the charging light changes from
red to green. You should stop charging at this point.
• Disconnect the charger from the mains and the e-scooter.
• The e-scooter may only be charged with the supplied char-
ger. Take care to use the correct voltage supply (~230 V /
50-60 Hz).
• If the charger or mains connector is damaged, the charger
must not be used. Please contact customer service.
• For optimum battery life, charge and store
the e-scooter in a dry and clean environment,
preferably at a temperature of 7-15°C.
• The charging time of the e-scooter is approx. 4-5 hours.
Leaving the charger permanently connected to the battery and
power supply will have an adverse effect on the battery life.
• The e-scooter and the charger must not be covered during
charging.
Handling the battery
Important information on
battery handling!

15
• Depending on the charge state, lithium batteries have a free-
zing point of approx. -20°C to -25°C. If a battery cell freezes
it will be irreparably destroyed and the whole battery will need
to be replaced. As with conventional batteries, a lithium battery
loses up to 40% of its capacity from approx. 0°C.
• At approx. 20°C and 100% charge, a lithium battery loses
about 30% of capacity per month (poor storage).
• However, at approx. 7°C and 70% charge, a lithium battery
loses only about 5% of capacity per month (optimal storage).
• If a BMS (Battery Management System) is installed in a
lithium battery pack, then the self-discharge is comparable to
a conventional battery in storage (caution: intermediate char-
ge). The BMS system reduces battery capacity but is neces-
sary and mandatory for cell balancing (uniform cell dischar-
ge).
Handling the battery

16
Proper handling of the battery:
• Never remove the battery from the e-scooter.
• Charge the battery every 2 months for at least 1 hour, even if
the e-scooter has not been used.
• Never heat the battery or throw it into an open fire.
• Never dispose of battery cells in household waste.
• Never get moisture on the battery contacts.
• The best operating temperature for the battery is between
10°C and 30°C. The power output will deteriorate at tempera-
tures above or below this temperature, resulting in a reduced
maximum distance and power output.
A battery's service life and performance depends on its age,
care and how often it has been used. Compared to other battery
models, lithium-ion batteries have little self-discharge and a
reduced memory effect, but they must be charged periodically.
Even if you are not using your e-scooter, the battery must be
recharged every 2 months for at least 1 hour, otherwise it will
lose its capacity. Regular charging protects the battery from total
discharge. Please note that a totally discharged battery is irrepa-
rably damaged and has to be replaced for a fee. Therefore, the
battery should never be fully discharged, even during operation.

sensors and cannot be manually switched on/o.
Furthermore, the battery in the rear light must be replaced by an
equivalent 3V CR1632 battery as soon as it is empty:
