The ABY box is a compact, dual-mode
ABY switcher for amplifier/pedalboard
signal routing. You can separate your
input signal to feed two amp/effect
chains, or run two instruments into one
amp.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE
PROCEEDING
Please keep this manual in a convenient
place for future reference.
Power Supply
Always use a DC 9V center negative AC
adapter. Use of an adapter other than
that specified could damage the unit or
cause malfunction and pose a safety
hazard.
Always connect the AC adapter to an
AC outlet that supplies the rated voltage
required by the adapter.
Disconnect the AC adapter from the AC
outlet when during lightning storms or
not using the unit for an extended
period.
Connections
Always turn off the power before
connecting or disconnecting. Make sure
to disconnect all cables and AC adapter
before moving the unit. This will help
prevent malfunction and damages.
Environment Considerations
Avoid using the unit in any of the
following conditions that could cause
malfunction:
●Extremely hot or cold places
●Under direct sunlight
●Magnetic fields
●Near heaters and other heat sources
●Sandy or dusty places
●Places that are extremely humid or
exposed to splashing water
●Places with lots of vibrations
Electrical Interference
Devices that are very susceptible to
interference or that emits powerful
electromagnetic waves (e.g. radios and
TVs) should not be placed near this unit,
as interference could occur.
Electromagnetic interference could
cause malfunction and could corrupt or
destroy data.
Always operate this unit at a suitable
distance from these devices.
Handling
Do not apply excessive force to the
switches and other controls, exposing
the unit to strong impacts, which could
cause it to break.
Do not put foreign objects or liquids into
the unit.
Never open the case or attempt to
modify the product in any way since this
can result in damage to the unit.
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
●Dual-Mode ABY Box
The ABY Box offers two working modes
for a variety of scenarios: in A/B Mode,
tap the footswitch to switch between
channel A and channel B; in A&B mode,
the A/B channels works together. The
straight forward interface makes it
simple.
●No Power Supply Needed
You don’t need an extra power supply
Connections & Controls
for the tiny unit: connect it to your gear,
set a mode and done. The power jack is
for supplying LED onboard only.

DC IN Power Jack:
For supplying LED only. Use a 9-volt
DC regulated by AC adapter, 500mA
(plug polarity is positive on the barrel
and negative in the center). This unit
can work without power.
A, B & Y Jacks:
1/4” mono audio jacks, for connecting
instruments, amps or other devices.
The ABY Box can be used in two
ways: the signal can flow from A/B to
Y, or from Y to A/B.
Mode Select Switch:
Selects from A/B and A&B modes.
Due to True Bypass circuit design,
the A and B jacks will affect each
other when used as inputs in A&B
mode.
LED Light:
In A/B mode, the LED indicates A/B
channel status (red means channel A,
green means channel B). In A&B
mode, LED shows yellow indicating
current mode only.
Footswitch:
In A/B mode, tap the footswitch to
switch between channel A and
channel B.
In A&B mode, the footswitch won’t
work.
