Introduction
Dear Customer!
We would like to thank you for selection of DORS 85, the universal external display.
The display is designed for connection to the banknote counters DORS 700, DORS 750,
DORS 800, DORS 820 for representation of note counting results to users.

Safety Precautions
To ensure long lifespan and a reliable operation of display, user should meet the following
operation requirements and observe the below-mentioned safety precautions:
1. Do not touch the cable with wet hands. It may cause a shock hazard.
2. The display shall be installed on an even horizontal surface.
3. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect it from the outlet, neither bend it nor twist.
4. Do not use the display at extremely high or low temperatures; avoid humidity and the
exposition to direct sunlight.
5. When you are choosing the place for display, avoid the areas with high level of dust
content.
6. To avoid any fire or short circuit, do not install the device in places where it may be at risk
of a soot or steam.

LCD-display Preparing for Operation
1. Make sure that the safety precautions
specified in the relevant section of the
manual are kept.
2. Before starting it is necessary to switch off
the banknote counter to which you are
going to connect the external display.
3. Connect the display power cord
(connector type RJ45) to connector «IND»
on the rear panel of the banknote counter
(see Fig.4, Fig. 5). Fig. 4 Connection of display

4. Use a power cord to connect the counter to the power network (if it was not connected).
Operation
Use a power switch to switch the banknote counter on. After you have done it, a process of
self-testing is activated. After self-testing is over, the display shows the model of the banknote
counter and the version of software (see Fig. 3)

Warranty Conditions
1. The Manufacturer gives a warranty period that is valid during 12 months since the
date of the sale if the given terms are not violated.
2. The warranty does not apply to the user manual.
3. The Manufacturer does not bear any product warranty obligations in the following cases:
a. If the display was not used in compliance with its designated purpose.
b. If the terms and conditions of the display operation and installation given in the user
manual were violated.
c. If the display has traces of attempts of unqualified repair.
d. If the defect results from changes in the display design or in the circuit that are not
envisaged by the Manufacturer.
e. If the defect results from the force majeure circumstances, accidents, intended or
careless acts (failures to act) of the consumer or the third party.
f. If the detected damages result from getting into the display of some foreign objects,
substances, liquids, insects.
4. The warranty does not apply to the following faults of the display:
a. the mechanical damages done after the display was handed over to the consumer;
b. the damages resulting from non-conformity with the parameters standards of the power,
telecommunication, cable networks and other similar external factors;

The DORS bears no responsibility for a possible direct or indirect damage done by the
DORS products to people, domestic animals and property if this damage results from
nonobservance of the terms and conditions of the display operation and installation, intended
or careless acts (failures to act) of the consumer or the third party or the force majeure
circumstances.
