WARNING!
Luna 350 should be lifted by holding the casing. It is forbidden to lift by holding
the connectors. It may result in leakage and damage to the device.
2. ASSEMBLY
2.1. Required exploitation conditions
The unit and ducts should be assembled in rooms with temperature above 5°C and heat-separated
form surroundings.
Not following above conditions will cause liquefaction of condensate and cumulate it inside and outside
of the unit which may cause dampness in the room or damage to the unit.
WARNING!
1. Ventilation installation and other belonging elements must be in accordance with Polish Norms
referring to ventilation in residential and public utility buildings.
2. The unit is not destined for drying the unseasoned houses.
3. In case of damage to elements arising from not following the above instructions,
they will be not repaired under warranty.
4. Due to design reasons there is a possibility of mixing the air inside the unit with amount
not exceeding 2%.

2.2. Pre-assembly requirements
While planning the assembly of the unit consider:
nensuring the expliotation conditions of the unit
npossibility of bringing about ventilation pipes to the device
npossibility of siphonning of steam condensate
npossility of bringing about electric energy
neasy access to maintenance and repairs
Prior to connecting the unit check elements condition, including casing and wiring.
In order to avoid any damage, the unit should be kept in safe place in original packaging.

2.3. Mounting the unit
The unit is destined for assembly under dry roofed rooms with basements (attics, utility room).
The unit should be assembled in a way to allow free drain condensate from the tub.
Unit should be connected to ventilation ducts in accordance with designation on connectors
(air inlet, launcher, intake, exhaust). In case of removing the exchanger with tub and replacing
it, pay attention to tub position - necking which remove condensate from the exchanger must
be on the side of connectrs air inlet-launcher.

2.4.Assembly of condensation dreinage system
Steam condensation can be observed during unit's work. It is completely normal and it does
not mean abnormality in working. In order to siphon out condensate the unit is equipped with
stub pipe placed on the right side. It is essental to properly connect the pipe siphoning out
the condensate.
Exemplary way of conneting the pipe is shown below. The pipe should have adequate diameter
to the stub-pipe (16 mm). It shoud be bent into letter "U" and suffused with water until stabilizing
its level. Shipon should be palced around 120 mm from the unit and radius should not be less than
R=30 mm. Given measures should be taken as minimal.
Unit is sold with siphon and pipe,

The manufacturer suggests mounting acoustic silencers in main ventilation ducts
in order to minimize noise.

2.5. Conneting to power grid
Unit should be connected directly to one phase outlet 230V/50Hz in the most accessible place.
All electrical matter should be perfomed by authorized person.
WARNING!
During service or maintenance work unit should be disconnected from power grid by pulling
out power cord.
In case of damaging connection cord, its replacement can only be performed by authorized
service or installer with appropriate permissions.
2.6.Manner of setting anti-freeze protection
Luna 350 ventilation unit has been equipped with anti-freeze protection heat exchange
in the form of a thermostat switching off intake fan. This protection is to protect the exchanger
from freezing during the occurrence of negative temperatures in winter time.
In case of occurrence, exchanger on the exhaust side of the temperature lower than the set
temperature on the thermostat switches off the intake fan. This results in increased exhaust
temperature (after the exchanger) until the intake fan is switched on again.
The suggested temperature for setting the protection thermostat is + 2°C (in Poland).

3.STARTING THE UNIT
3.1.General remarks
1. Prior to starting the unit read the manual.
2. Check if there is no objects present in the ducts which may damage the unit or endanger
health.
3. It is recommended to test the working mode of the unit prior to connecting it to ventilation.
WARNING!
When performing and testing the installation, appropriate safety measures must
be taken in order to avoid the wrong air flow direction, i.e from an open flue pipe
or other devices with open fire to the room.

3.2. Starting the unit
6. Turn the thermostat knob to the desired anti-freeze protection temperature (suggested
temperature approx. + 2°C).
Once all above is performed, the unit can be used. Only periodic maintenance is required.
1. Read the manual.
2. See if there is no damage.
3. Place unit in wanted place.
4. Connect 3 gear controller.
5. Connect connection cord to connection box (in accordance with schemes) then
to 3 gear controller.
7. With 3x1,5 mm2 (secured by fuse) 230v/50Hz connect to 3 gear controller.
8. Turn on the unit switching to wanted gear (LO, MED, HI).
9. Turn off the unit (OFF).

3.3 Usage and maintenance
WARNING!
Unit should not work without filters. It is only recommended for testing, but no longer than
10 minutes.
When proprely installed, unit does not require special maintanance work during use. It is
recommended to control filters at least once per quarter and change filters. It is essential for
keeping unit's high efficiency. When high intake air purity of is required, it is recommended to use
external duct filter. In order to replace filters, unscrew the safety screws, disassemble one part of
the control panel housing (revision), gently remove used filters, put on new ones and re-assemble
the housing. Visual indication informs about the need to replace filter. When replaced, reset the
timer.

test

WARNING!
When installing the heat exchanger again, the manufacturer suggests using
harmless to the health and environment lubricating medium and cover exchanger gaskets.
It will protect the casing from damage and seals against unsticking and curling.
The manufacturer recommends using technical petroleum jelly as lubricating medium.
3.5.Exploitation recommendation
Fan check-up
Despite of required maintenance work (cleaninf/filter exchange) dust and grase can be slowly
embed inside the fan, which can decrese its effecitivity.
Fan can be cleand with cloth or soft brush. Keep caution while cleaning not to damage fan's
impeller.
Do not clean with water, do not put in water!
Solid dirt can be cleaned with denaturated alcohol.
Prior to placing back - dry well.
Control condensate
The drain connection may become contaminated by solid particles carried by the air over
time.
Periodically check (by flushing with water) the permeability of the connector. Clean if needed.
Clean inlet and exhaust diffusers (if necessary).
Necessity of filter replacement is signaled by countdown timer via visual warning. The filter
cartridge made of polyester fabrics cannot be cleaned and must be replaced with a new one if
necessary. New filters should be ordered from the device supplier.
The time indicator of contamination of the filter counts down the time remaining until the next
filter change.
To start the countdown for the first time, press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
The need to replace the filter is signaled by audible and visual signals - after the countdown is over,
the digits 00 00 00 are displayed on the screen.
The signal must be reset by pressing the RESET button.
The device is equipped with a magnet and CR1130 battery.
