Vor Gebrauch des Produkts diese Gebrauchsanweisung
und die des Dräger REGARD 7000 aufmerksam lesen.
Nur geschultes und fachkundiges Personal darf das Pro-
dukt überprüfen, reparieren und instand halten. Dräger
empfiehlt, einen Service-Vertrag mit Dräger abzuschließen
und alle Instandhaltungsarbeiten durch Dräger durchfüh-
ren zu lassen.
Gebrauchsanweisung genau beachten. Der Anwender
muss die Anweisungen vollständig verstehen und den An-
weisungen genau Folge leisten. Das Produkt darf nur ent-
sprechend dem Verwendungszweck verwendet werden.

2.1 Definitionen der Warnhinweise
Die folgenden Warnhinweise werden in diesem Dokument ver-
wendet, um die zugehörigen Warntexte zu kennzeichnen und
hervorzuheben, die eine erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit seitens des
Anwenders erfordern. Die Bedeutungen der Warnhinweise
sind wie folgt definiert:

3.1 Verwendungszweck
Das Dräger RVP 7000 ist ein Display zur grafischen Visualisie-
rung der Messwerte und einer Trendanzeige aus einem
REGARD 7000 System mit bis zu 320 Eingangskanälen.
Das Dräger RVP 7000 speichert in einem 2 Sekunden-Intervall
Messwerte und Ereignisse für einen Zeitraum von einem Jahr
(First In - First Out). Ein optionaler Webserver bietet zusätzlich
die Möglichkeit, das Dräger RVP 7000 auf bis zu drei Remote
PCs zu visualisieren und zu bedienen.

4.1 Mechanische Installation
Das Dräger RVP 7000 ist für den Einbau in einem Schalt-
schrank oder einer Schalttafel vorgesehen.

Verlegung und Anschluss der elektrischen Installation nur vom
Fachmann unter Beachtung der einschlägigen Vorschriften
durchführen lassen. Bei der Leitungsführung sind die nationa-
len Bestimmungen zu Trennung von Netz-, Kleinspannungs-
und Steuerstromkreisen zu beachten (in Deutschland: VDE-
Bestimmungen).

Gateway der Dräger REGARD 7000
Auswerteeinheit
Das Dräger RVP 7000 ist so konfiguriert, dass es aus dem Mo-
dbus Gateway des REGARD 7000 die Feldbus-Slave ID 1
ausliest und auf dem COM1-Anschluss des Dräger RVP 7000
einliest.
Die Installation und Konfiguration des Modbus Gateways setzt
Kenntnisse der Dräger Auswerteeinheit REGARD 7000 vor-
aus.
Einstellungen im Konfigurationsmenü (PC-Software oder
Dashboard) am REGARD 7000 Modbus Gateway:
Als Kommunikationskabel muss ein für die Buskommunikation
spezifiziertes Kabel verwendet werden.
Die maximale Kabellänge darf 1000 m nicht überschreiten.
WARNUNG
Bei Netzspannung 230 V, 50 Hz im Schaltschrank:
Eine Berührung kann schwere Brandverletzungen ver-
ursachen oder sogar zum Tod führen. Elektrische An-
schlüsse nur von einer ausgebildeten Elektrofachkraft
ausführen lassen. Nur im spannungsfreien Zustand
montieren!
VORSICHT
Die VDE-Bestimmungen, die Unfallverhütungsvor-

7.1 Gerätemenü und Nutzeranmeldung
Das Dräger RVP 7000 hat eine Nutzerverwaltung mit verschie-
denen Rollen. Jeder Rolle sind bestimmte Rechte zugeordnet.
Die Rechte der Rollen sind aufbauend. Das bedeutet, dass je-
de höhere Rolle die Rechte der niedrigeren ebenso beinhaltet.
Die niedrigste Rolle ist die View-Only Rolle.

Am REGARD 7000 Modbus RTU-Gateway müssen al-

7.2 Übersicht der einzelnen Dialoge
7.2.1 Eingänge
In diesem Dialog ist die Übersicht von bis zu 320 Eingangska-
nälen (abhängig von der verwendeten Version) abgebildet. Für
jeden Kanal wird die auf dem REGARD 7000 hinterlegte Kon-
figuration angezeigt. Die Anzeige der abgebildeten Kanäle ist
in numerischer Reihenfolge. In der REGARD 7000 nicht ge-
nutze IDs werden als leere Zeilen dargestellt. Bei deaktivierten
Kanälen mit zugewiesener ID wird OFF angezeigt.
7.2.2 Kanaldetails
Toucheingabe auf die jeweilige ID des Kanals öffnet ein Po-
pup-Dialogfenster, in dem weitere Details des jeweiligen
Messkanals angezeigt werden.
Toucheingabe auf Xschließt das Fenster wieder.
Toucheingabe auf Trend öffnet den Trending-Dialog. Der Tren-
ding-Dialog kann auch mit einer Toucheingabe auf den Mess-
wert im Übersichtsfenster geöffnet werden.
7.2.3 Trending
In diesem Dialog können die Messwerte jedes einzelnen Ka-
nals im zeitlichen Verlauf von bis zu einem Jahr betrachtet wer-
den (im 2 Sekunden-Intervall).
Sichten im Trending-Dialog
Verschiedene Optionen wie das Einblenden eines Cursors,
das Anhalten der (sichtbaren) Aufzeichnung, das Vergrößern
und Verkleinern sowie eine Druck- und Exportfunktion sind hier
verfügbar.
Verlassen des Trending-Dialogs durch Toucheingabe auf Ein-
gänge oder Ereignisliste.
Toucheingabe auf Ereignisliste öffnet einen Dialog, der alle
aufgelaufenen Ereignisse darstellt.

7.2.4 Ereignisliste
Es kann eine Einzel- oder Sammelquittierung der Ereignisse
ausgewählt werden.
Eine anstehende Statusbedingung ändert seine Farbe nach
der Quittierung von rot auf blau.
Eine nicht mehr vorhandene Statusbedingung verschwindet
nach der Quittierung aus dem Dialog.
Nach Wegfall einer Statusbedingung ohne Quittierung ändert
die Anzeige von rot auf grün.
7.2.5 Reportdialog
Durch eine Toucheingabe auf die Schaltfläche Report in der
Ereignisliste kann ein Statusreport auf einem Drucker bzw. als
Microsoft®Excel- oder Adobe®PDF-Dokument ausgegeben
werden. Hier kann durch Filterfunktionen der Zeitraum des zu
erzeugenden Reports individuell festgelegt werden.
7.2.6 Menü
Nach dem Anmelden als Administrator ist das vollständige Me-
nü sichtbar. Es stehen verschiedene Einstellungen zur Verfü-
gung.
7.2.7 Sprachauswahl
Im Menü Sprachauswahl kann eine andere Sprache ausge-
wählt werden. Nach jedem Neustart startet die Applikation in
englischer Sprache.
7.2.8 Zeit einstellen
Im Menü Zeit einstellen kann die Systemzeit des PCs emp-
fangen und verändert werden.
HINWEIS
Es besteht kein Zusammenhang mit einer Quittierung
in diesem Dialog und der Quittierung eines Gasalarms
in der angeschlossenen REGARD 7000 Gaswarnanla-
ge. Die Quittierung bezieht sich lediglich auf die Ereig-
nisanzeige.

Entsorgungde
7.2.9 Drucker wählen
Im Menü Drucker wählen kann für die verschiedenen Anwen-
dungen in der Applikation ein Drucker für die Ausgabe einge-
stellt werden.
7.2.10 Log-Dateien kopieren
DurchToucheingabe auf Log-Dateien kopieren können die
auf dem RVP 7000 gespeicherten Daten an einen beliebigen
verfügbaren Speicherort kopiert werden.
7.2.11 Runtime beenden
DurchToucheingabe auf Runtime beenden wird die RVP
7000 Software-Applikation beendet.
Für eine erneute Nutzung muss sie manuell über die Applika-
tion zenon Runtime 7.60 32 bit neu gestartet werden.

werden. Es ist daher mit dem nebenstehenden Symbol
gekennzeichnet.
Dräger nimmt dieses Produkt kostenlos zurück. Infor-

2 Conventions in this document
2.1 Warning definitions
The following warnings are used in this document to indicate
and highlight areas of the associated text that require particular
attention by the user. A definition of the meaning of each
warning is as follows:

3.1 Intended use
The Dräger RVP 7000 is a display panel that provides a
graphical visualisation of measured values and graphs from a
REGARD 7000 system with up to 320 input channels.
The Dräger RVP 7000 stores measured values and events at
a two second interval for a period of one year (using the "first
in, first out" principle). Additionally, an optional web server
enables remote operation and display of the Dräger RVP 7000
on up to three remote PCs.

4.1 Mechanical installation
The Dräger RVP 7000 is designed to be installed in a cabinet
or in a switchboard.
Cut openings according to the dimensions of the installation
site.

Electrical installation must only be laid out and connected by a
qualified specialist whilst observing all relevant regulations.
When laying out cables, please comply with all local and
national regulations regarding the separation of AC power, low
voltage, and control circuits (in Germany: VDE provisions,
meaning national standards for electrical installation).

5.1 RS485 connection with the Modbus
gateway of the Dräger REGARD 7000
control unit
The Dräger RVP 7000 is configured to read the Fieldbus
Slave ID 1 from the Modbus gateway of the REGARD 7000
and write it to the COM1 port of the Dräger RVP 7000.
Prior familiarity with the operation of the Dräger REGARD 7000
control unit is needed for installing and configuring the Modbus
gateway.
Settings in the configuration menu (PC software or
dashboard) on the REGARD 7000 Modbus gateway:
It is necessary to use a communications cable rated for bus
communication.
The maximum cable length must not exceed 1000 m.
WARNING
If using 230 V mains power, 50 Hz in the cabinet:
A simple touch could cause severe burns or even
death. Electrical wiring should only be installed by a
qualified electrician. Ensure the power is switched off
before installation!
CAUTION
Please follow all applicable national and local
standards and provisions for accident prevention in
addition to these instructions for use.

7.1 Device menu and user login
The Dräger RVP 7000 has a user administration system that
contains different roles. Specific rights are assigned to each
role. The user rights accumulate as they increase. This means
that all higher-level roles also include the rights of the lower-
level roles. The lowest-level role is the "View Only" role.

7.2 Overview of the different screens
7.2.1 Inputs
This screen contains an overview of up to 320 input channels
(depending on the version used). The configuration saved on
the REGARD 7000 is displayed for each channel. The
channels are displayed in numerical order. Unused IDs in the
REGARD 7000 are shown as empty lines. Disabled channels
with assigned ID are indicated as OFF.
7.2.2 Channel details
Tapping the relevant channel ID opens a pop-up window with
additional details for the respective measurement channel.
Tap ping Xcloses the window again.
Tap ping Trend opens the "Trending" screen. The "Trending"
screen can also be opened by tapping the measured value in
the overview window.
7.2.3 Trending
This screen shows the measured values for each channel for
a time period of up to a year (recorded using a two-second
interval).

Various options, such as displaying a cursor, stopping (visible)
recording, zooming in and out and printing and export
functions are available in this screen.
Exit the trending screen by selecting Inputs or Event list.
Tap ping Event list opens a screen containing all accumulated
events.

7.2.4 Event list
The user can choose to acknowledge the events individually or
acknowledge multiple events at once.
After being acknowledged, a pending status condition changes
colour from red to blue.
A status condition that is no longer relevant disappears from
the screen after it has been acknowledged.
After cancellation of a status condition without acknowledge-
ment the display will change from red to green.
7.2.5 "Report" screen
Tapping the Report button in the event log allows printing of a
status report or exporting a report in either Microsoft®Excel or
Adobe®PDF format. The filter function limits the report's time
frame.
7.2.6 Menu
The full menu is visible if the user is logged in as an
Administrator. There are a number of different settings that can
be adjusted.
7.2.7 Change language
The Change language menu can be used to choose a different
language. After each restart, the application starts in English.
7.2.8 Set time
The Set time menu can be used to receive and set the system
time on the PC.
NOTICE
There is no connection between acknowledging an
event in this screen and acknowledging a gas alarm in
the connected REGARD 7000 gas detection system.
The event is only acknowledged in the "Event" view.

7.2.9 Choose printer
The Choose printer menu can be used to set a printer for
various tasks within the application.
7.2.10 Copy Log-files
Tapping the button Copy Log-files allows copying data saved
on the RVP 7000 to any available storage location.
7.2.11 Quit runtime
Tap the Quit runtime button to quit the RVP 7000 app.
To use the app again, it must be restarted manually via the
zenon Runtime 7.60 32 bit application.
