Safety instructions
• Please read and follow the operating
instructions carefully and retain them for future
reference. Enclose these instructions when
you give this appliance to someone else. This
appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as
- sta kitchens in shops, oces, and other
working environments;
- farm house;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
• Danger of electric shock!
This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.
• Connect and operate the appliance only
according to the type plate specifications. Do
not use if the power cord or appliance show
any signs of damage.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
• Unplug after every use or if defective.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of the
reach of children less than 8 years.
• The toasters are not intended to be operated
by means of an external timer or separate
remote control system.
• The outer surface may get hot when the
appliance is operating
• The bread may burn, therefore do not use the
toaster near or below combustible material,
such as curtains.
• Do not insert any objects into the toast slot.
• Only operate the toaster when it is upright.
• Never cover the toast slot.
• Do not touch parts other than the operating
controls as the toaster can become hot during
toasting.
• Press down the push-down lever only for
toasting; never block it.
• Do not use food that may drip as it is toasted
or warmed, since this is a fire hazard.
• Unplug the toaster and allow it to cool down
before cleaning it.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or place
it in the dishwasher!
• Do not steam-clean the appliance.
• Do not use oven or grill spray for cleaning.
• Never leave the toaster unattended while it is
in use!
• Do not use near water contained in bath tubs,
sinks or other containers.
• Risk of suocation! Do not allow children to play
with packaging material.

How To Use The Toaster
• Ensure the toaster is connected to the main
power supply.
• Place one to two slices of bread into the toasting
slots and press the loading lever fully down.
The toaster will heat up automatically and start
toasting.
• NOTE: the toaster must be connected to the
main power supply in order for the bread
carriage to engage and for the toasting cycle
to begin.
• Adjust the browning control to brown the toast
to your desired taste.
• To stop toasting press the CANCEL button at
any time.
• The loading lever will rise automatically when
toasting is complete.
• This toaster is equipped with a high lift lever to
help with the removal of smaller items.
• If the toast is not dark enough, you can toast the
bread again. Adjust the browning control to your
desired setting and replace the toast. Ensure the
toast does not burn while re-toasting.
Browning Control
• The browning control enables adjustment of
toasting time and has the following settings:
• 1-3 for light toasting
• 4-5 for medium toasting
• 6-7 for dark toasting
Defrost button
• Ability to toast bread from frozen in the touch of
a button
• Press the lever down and select the defrost
button
• After selecting the defrost function the toaster
will automatically lengthen the toasting time to
achieve the desired browning
Reheat Function
• Your Toaster can reheat bread if it has cooled
too quickly.
• Replace the bread in the toaster.
• Set the browning dial to the lowest setting. The
arrow on the dial should be position
• to REHEAT.
• Press the loading lever down and select the
reheat button
• The loading lever will rise automatically when
the toasting cycle is complete.
Cancel Function
• The CANCEL button can be pressed at any time
during toasting to interrupt the toasting cycle.
High Lift Function
Allows the loading lever to be raised further for
easier access to smaller breads. This ensures
smaller pieces of bread and bagels can be
removed easily.

Crumb Tray
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Disconnect the toaster from outlet before
cleaning.
2. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth after
toaster cools down. Never use metal polish.
3. Pull out crumb tray on bottom of toaster
and empty it. If toaster is used frequently,
accumulated bread crumbs should be moved at
least once a week. Make sure the crumb tray is
inserted correctly to the toaster and completely
closed before using the toaster again.
4. The power cord may be wound under the
bottom of the toaster when not in use or for
storage.
5. This appliance requires little maintenance.
Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing
requiring disassembly must be performed by a
qualified appliance repair technician.

Ideally, you should clean the crumb tray in your
toaster weekly, to avoid accumulating stale crumbs
which can attract vermin and pose a fire risk.

disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical and electronic products
and, where applicable, rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, at an appropriate ocial
recycling/collection point.
