distribuidor autorizado DS18!
De lo contrario, el rendimiento de su nuevo equipo
puede no ser satisfactorio. En el caso si decide hacer su
propia instalación, por favor lea y siga este manual
cuidadosamente.
De no hacerlo puede comprometer la integridad de este
producto, su automóvil, y posiblemente anular la
garantía del producto.
Asegure la caja subwoofer con una correa o soporte
para atornillar en caso de que esta caja esté suelta en su
maleta o el área de carga de un SUV para evitar
movimiento que dañará el subwoofer o la propia caja.
En caso de aceleración o frenado duro esto reducirá la
posibilidad de movimiento! Las lesiones mayores
pueden ocurrir en caso de un accidente si esto no se
asegura correctamente.
Si ya tiene instalado el amplificador, siga estos
sencillos pasos:
1) Encienda la unidad principal y toque un poco de
música
2) Ahora estás listo para probar por primera vez.
Lo mejor es dejar la ganancia abajo al empezar. Ahora,
comience con la unidad principal hasta que el volumen
sea bajo y vaya subiendo.
3) Ahora puede ajustar el amplificador.
Le recomendamos usar el filtro de paso bajo a 120Hz o
menos dependiendo de su sistema.
Tómese su tiempo y haga sólo un ajuste al tiempo. El
ajuste completo del sistema puede tomar algún tiempo.
Durante este tiempo el amplificador está captando
corriente de la batería. Deberías comprobar la batería
voltaje de vez en cuando y recargar si se pone bajo.

Otherwise, the performance of your new gear
may not be satisfactory. In the event that you
decide to do your own installation, please
read and follow this manual carefully.
Failure to do so may compromise the
integrity of this product, your automobile,
and possibly void the product warranty.
Secure the subwoofer box with a strap or
bracket to screw it down in case this box is
loose on your trunk or a SUV cargo area to
avoid this moving around which will damage
the Subwoofer or box itself. In case of
accelerating or hard braking this will reduce
the possibility of movement! Major injuries
may occur in case of an accident if this is not
secured properly.
If you already have installed the amplifier,
then follow these simple steps:
1)Turn on the Head Unit and play some music
2)Now you are ready to play it for the first
time. It is best to leave the gain all the way
down at the start. Now, start with the head
until volume low and work your way up.
3)Now you can tune the amp. We recommend
using the Low Pass Filter at 120Hz or lower
depending on your system.
Take your time and make only one adjustment
at a time. It may take some time to get the
system fully adjusted. During this time the
amp is drawing current from the battery. You
should check the battery voltage from time to
timeand re-charge it if it gets low.

1. REMOTE CONTROLLER OUTLET
To be connected with the remote controller, which helps to boost the gain.
Please turn the knob of volume to be maximum before using the remote.
2. BOOST: The boost ranges from 0dB to 12dB.
3. PHASE: Phase adjusting switch, the phase ranges from 0°-180° degrees.
4. LPF: Low pass frequency adjusting knob, the frequency ranges from 30Hz to 150Hz.
5. LEVEL: Knob for volume adjustment.
6. LOW LEVEL INPUTS
Low level inputs are the recommended way to introduce the audio signal to the subwoofer if RCA
outputs are present on your head unit or other signal source (such as a sound processor).
7. +12V :Anode of power connection terminals. Connect to the anode of car battery.
REM: Terminal to be connected with Remote cable, wich comes from the source and which
controls the amplifier switching on. Applied voltage must be between 10 and 15 VDC.
GND: Ground terminal. Connect to the car chassis. Keep the lenght of the ground cable to a
minimum.
8. FUSE: Standard automatic fuse, you must use the same power fuse if you need to change it.
9. PROTECTION / POWER INDICATOR
When the amplifier is operating correctly the LED will show as green.
When the amplifier is in protection mode the LED will show as red.

If your head unit does not have RCA outputs you can use the speaker outputs for the audio
source of the subwoofer.
Use the supplied cable and wire harness and connect the outputs properly as shown in the
connection diagram in this manual
11. REMOTE CONTROLLER: Volume level knob, the gain ranges from 0.1V to +3.5V
1. SALIDA DEL CONTROL REMOTO
Para conectarse con el control remoto, lo que ayuda a aumentar la ganancia.
Gire la perilla de volumen al máximo antes de usar el control remoto.
2. REFUERZO: El rango de refuerzo va de 0dB a 12dB.
3. FASE: Interruptor de ajuste de fase, la fase varía de 0° a 180° grados.

6. ENTRADAS DE BAJO NIVEL
Las entradas de bajo nivel son la forma recomendada de introducir la señal de audio al subwoofer si hay
salidas RCA presentes en su unidad principal u otra fuente de señal (como un procesador de sonido).
7. + 12V: Ánodo de terminales de conexión de potencia. Conéctelo al ánodo de la batería del automóvil.
REM: Terminal a conectar con cable Remoto, que proviene de la fuente y que controla el encendido del
amplificador. El voltaje aplicado debe estar entre 10 y 15 VCC.
GND: Terminal de tierra. Conéctese al chasis del automóvil. Mantenga la longitud del cable de
tierra al mínimo.
8. FUSIBLE: Fusible automático estándar, debe usar el mismo fusible de potencia si necesita cambiarlo.
9. INDICADOR: PROTECCIÓN / ENCENDIDO
Cuando el amplificador esté funcionando correctamente, el LED se mostrará en verde.
Cuando el amplificador esté en modo de protección, el LED se mostrará en rojo.
10. ENTRADAS DE ALTO NIVEL (nivel de altavoz)
Si su unidad principal no tiene salidas RCA, puede usar las salidas de los altavoces para la fuente de
audio del subwoofer.
Utilice el cable y el ramal de cables suministrados y conecte las salidas correctamente como se muestra
en el diagrama de conexión de este manual.

If your head unit does not have RCA outputs you can use the speaker outputs for the audio
source of the subwoofer.
Use the supplied cable and wire harness and connect the outputs properly as shown in the
connection diagram in this manual
11. REMOTE CONTROLLER: Volume level knob, the gain ranges from 0.1V to +3.5V

REM: Terminal a conectar con cable Remoto, que proviene de la fuente y que controla el encendido del
amplificador. El voltaje aplicado debe estar entre 10 y 15 VCC.
GND: Terminal de tierra. Conéctese al chasis del automóvil. Mantenga la longitud del cable de
tierra al mínimo.
8. FUSIBLE: Fusible automático estándar, debe usar el mismo fusible de potencia si necesita cambiarlo.
9. INDICADOR: PROTECCIÓN / ENCENDIDO
Cuando el amplificador esté funcionando correctamente, el LED se mostrará en verde.
Cuando el amplificador esté en modo de protección, el LED se mostrará en rojo.
10. ENTRADAS DE ALTO NIVEL (nivel de altavoz)

Check that all RCA audio cables are plugged into the
proper inputs.
Check all speaker wiring.
High Hiss in the sound.
Disconnect all RCA inputs to the power sub’s control
panel. If the hiss disappears, then plug in the
component driving the amplifier and unplug its input.
If the hiss disappears at this point, go on until the
faulty / noisy component is found.
It is best to set the amplifier’s input level control as
low as possible. The best subjective signal-to-noise
ratio is achieved in this matter, try to set the headunit
as high as possible (without distortion) and the amp
input level aslow as possible.
