1.AboutHomeCentralAudioSystem
HM6812 Systemisanidealmodernfamilymusiccontrolsystem,whichiscomposedofcontrolunit
(HM6812),remotecontrolpad(HM20R),infraredremotecontroller(HM21)and somespeakerunits.
Thesystemissimpleinoperationandcompleteinfunction.Thecontrolunithasbuilt-inzonedistributor
and amplifier,with6externalmusicsourceinputports,6-roomstereooutputsand6-roomvolume
independentcontrol.
Eachroomwitharemotecontrolpad,throughwhichmusicsource canbeselected, androomvolumeand
treble/bass can beadjusted.Itisalso availableto turnon/orturnofftheroomthroughitsinnerpad.Setup
ofthecontrolpadaddresscanseparateoneroomfromtheothers.In addition, eachroomcontrolpadwith
auniversalinfraredremotecontrollerwhichhassamefunctionswiththecontrolpad.
6musicsource channelscanbeconnectedtoDVDplayer,MP3player,radio,PC,TVorotheraudio
device. 6 roomscanplaythesamemusicordifferentmusicsimultaneously.

5.SystemOperation
Connectthesystemproperlyasperthediagramgivenabove.Press downthepowerswitchofcontrolunit
toturnonthepower. Thenswitchon theconnectedmusicsource device. Selectthemusicsource foreach
roomand adjusttheroomvolumeandtone.
Duringsystemoperation,atickofprompttonecanbeheardfromspeakersintheroomwhenpress
functionkeysonthepanelofcontrolunit, remotecontrolpadorremotecontroller.
5.1 RoomTurnOn/Off
Turnonthepowerofcontrolunit, thesystemwillresumetotheoperatingstatebeforelastpower-off.
If acertainmusicsourcewasselectedinoneroombeforethelastpower-off,thesystemwill turnon
theroomandtheselectedmusicsourceafterpoweron.Ifthemusicsourceinoneroomwasturned
offbeforelastpower-off,theroomisatoff statusafterpoweron. In thiscase,theroomcanbeturned
onifslightlypress once themusicselection buttonofthisroom,meanwhilethelastturn-off music
source beforelastpower-off will beturnedon.(Indicatorofthecorrespondingmusicsourcewill be
on)

5.2 MusicSource Selection
Aftersystempoweron,on thecontrolunit,ifamusicsource indicatorofoneroomison,thisshowsthat
thecorrespondingmusicsource channelhasbeenswitchedon.Inthiscase,thesystemwill startplaying
themusicfromconnectedmusicdevice.Youcanuse “SELECT”button ofthisroomtochangetheinput
musicsource,oryoucanusetheremotecontrolpadtothesamejob. Theoperation methodandindicator
displayingofremotecontrolpadissimilartothecontrolunit.Inaddition,6musicsource selectionkeys
ontheinfraredremotecontrollercanselectthemusicsource directlyineachroom.
5.3 VolumeControlandToneAdjustment
Volumeineachroomwith18 gradescanbeadjustedthroughthe “VOLUME▲”and “VOLUME▼”
buttononthepanelofcontrolunit,remotecontrolpadorinfraredremotecontroller.Pleaserefertothe
“Descriptionoffrontpanelfunction”sectionofthemainsystemfortheoperationmethodofthevolume
ofthemainsystem.
Pleaserefertothesectionof “PanelDescription”and “FunctionsofKeys”forvolumeoperationof
controlunit, remotecontrolpadandinfraredremotecontroller.
Treble/Bass ineachroomhastherangeof ±12dB.Pressonce thekeyofTreble/Bass canincreaseor
attenuatethetonefor2dB,namely,thetonecanbeincreasedorattenuatedin6levels.Thetonecanbe
adjustedthrough4keyson theremotecontrolpadandremotecontrollerofeachroom: “BASS▲”and
“BASS▼”, “TREBLE▲”and “TREBLE▼”.Pleaserefertothesectionof “FunctionsofKeys”forthe
detailedoperationmethod.
5.4 ControlUnitAlarmandtheReason
Whilecontrolpadhavingshortcircuit problemorpolarityreversalwithcontrolunit,theinnerbuzzerin
controlunit will sendoutthealarmtoneof “Tick,Tick,Tick”.Pleaseturnoffthecontrolunit before
checktheseproblems.
If alarmstillhappensafterrestartthesystem,pleaseturnoffthecontrolunit firstly,thendisconnectthe
linebetweenremotecontrolpadand controlunit andrestartthesystem.Inthiscase,ifalarmhappens
again,it meansthatthecontrolunit hasafailure;otherwise,theremotecontrolpadmayhaveshort
circuit failureorthesystemlineconnection isincorrect.
