INTRODUCTION
Thank you for acquiring the Integrated Player/Server Appliance, part of the
digital signage line by DT Research. The SP200 facilitates the creaon of a unique and powerful
communicaons medium that offers unparalleled opportunies to capture an audience’s aenon
at key decision-making locaons. The DT Research Integrated Player/Server Appliance with pre-
loaded WebDT Content Manager Server soware and WebDT player soware in one box is ready
to perform out-of-box with no separate server needed; enable efficient deployments for digital
signage, with reliable hardware features and innovave server-based soware. The SP200, with
MicrosoWindows Embedded Standard 7, offers remote management of the appliances and
the displayed content with the intuive WebDT Content Manager soware. The SP200 together
with the WebDT soware suite offers an effecve

Connecng Peripherals
Insert the USB dongle to a USB port (1) and make sure your monitors are connected the SP200 with
video cables (2). Aer the peripherals are well connected, plug the power cord into the SP200 (3)
and insert the other end into a power outlet.
NOTE: DO NOT connect the power cord before connecng the USB dongle and all cables to the SP200
Powering ON and OFF
Warning! Please make sure the selected voltage on the appliance matches the local voltage.
Wrong voltage seng will cause damage to the power supply.
The Power Buon is located on the front of the SP200. To turn the SP200 on, push and release the
Power Buon on the front bezel. The power LED will be lit (blue), and the corresponding interface
will be shown on the display monitors.
To turn offthe appliance, use the soware shutdown interface provided, or unplug the appliance.
In the event of system lockup, unplug or re-plug the power cable. Also, the Power Buon may be
used to perform a reset on the appliance. To reset, push and hold the Power Buon for at least 4
seconds. The system will shut down and all unsaved work may be lost. Pushing on the Power Buon
again will restart the appliance.
Get Started with the SP200
When you boot up the SP200 for the first me, a brief introducon about how to operate the SP200
will be displayed on the screen with instrucons on how to connect to the network and manage
your own WebDT Content Manager from any remote laptop/PC.
To exit the full screen introducon, press “Ctrl+Shi+Space”to

exit the WebDT Signage Player.
To re-launch the WebDT Signage Player,
•navigate to Start| All
Programs | DT Research| WebDT Signage Player.
To register this signage appliance to
•another WebDT Content
Manager Server if any, navigate to Start | All Programs | DT
Research | Register WebDT Signage Player again, The Player
Registraon screen should appear. Fill in all fields to register. The
required informaon is marked.
Click OK to register and connect to the preferred WebDT Content Manager Publish Server.
