Before You Start
•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.
•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfrom
directsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
Getting Started
•Insertthesuppliedkeysintotheslotsasshown,andslidetheunitoutofthemounting
sleeve.
•Installmountingsleeveintoopening,bendingtabstosecure.
•Connectwiringharnessandantenna.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianifyouareunsure.
•Certainvehiclesmayrequireaninstallationkitand/orwiringharnessadapter(sold
separately).
•Testforcorrectoperationandslideintothemountingsleevetosecure.
•Snaptrimringintoplace.

General Operation
Press RELEASEandpullawayfromtheleftsideto
remove.Tore-install,insertrightsideoffaceplatefirst
thenpushleftsidetosecure.
Press or any other button to turn the unit on. Press
againtoturntheunitoff.
Press MODE toselectbetweenAM/FM,USB,SDor
auxiliaryinputmodes.Modesofoperationareindicatedin
thedisplay.SDandUSBmodeswillnotappearunlessan
SDCardisinsertedoraUSBdeviceisconnected.
Theradiofrequency(tunermode)orMP3/WMAtitle/track
information(USBandSDmodes)willbeshownbydefault.
Press DISPtodisplaytheclock.Thedefaultdisplaywill
return after five seconds.
WheninUSBorSDmode,thedisplaywillalternate
betweentracknumber/elapsedtimeandavailableMP3/
WMAinformation,includingfilename,songtitle,artist
name,albumnameandfoldername.
Press RESETuponinitialinstallationorifabnormal
operationoccurs.Resetbuttonislocatedbehindthefront
panel.
Press DISP todisplaytheclock,thenpressandholdDISP
until the hours will flash. Rotate the volume knobtoadjust
the hours. Press the volume knob,andtheminuteswill
flash. Rotate the volume knobtoadjusttheminutes.
Inserta3.5mmconnectorinthefrontpanelAUXport.
Connecttheotherendofthe3.5mmconnectortothe
headphoneoutputofanaudiodevice,MP3player,etc.
Adjustvolumeusingthe volume knob(00-40).
Press EQtoselectbetweenthefollowingpreset
equalizationcurves:FLAT,POP,JAZZ,ROCKandOFF.
Note:AbilitytomanuallyadjustBassandTreblesettings
isdisabledwhenapresetequalizationcurveisselected.

General Operation
Press the volume knobtoselectbetweenBass,Treble,
Balance,Fader,Loudness,DistanceandStereo.
Press the volume knob until BASappears.
Rotate the volume knobleft/righttoadjust.
(-7minimum/+7maximum)
Press the volume knob until TRE appears.
Rotate the volume knobleft/righttoadjust.
(-7minimum/+7maximum)
Press the volume knob until BALappears.
Rotate the volume knobleft/righttoadjust.
10L (left)to10R(right)."L=R"representsequalbalance.
Press the volume knob until FADappears.
Rotate the volume knobleft/righttoadjust.
10R(rear)to10F(front)"F=R"representsequalbalance.
Press the volume knob until LOUD ON or LOUD OFFappears,
then rotate the volume knobtoselectdesiredoption.
Activatingthisfeaturewillenhancethebassandtreble
frequencieswhenlisteningtomusicatlowvolumes.
Fromtunermodeonly,pressthevolume knob until DX
or LOCALappears,thenrotatethevolume knob to select
desiredoption.SelectingLOCALprogramstheunittostopat
onlystrongstationswhenseektuning.
Fromtunermodeonly,pressthevolume knob until STEREO
or MONOappears,thenrotatethevolume knob to select
desiredoption.SelectingMONOcanimprovelisteningin
areaswithaweakFMsignal.
Press and hold the volume knobuntilBEEPONorBEEP
OFFappears,thenrotatethe volume knob to select desired
option.Activatingthisfeatureprogramstheunittobeepeach
timecertainbuttonsarepressed.
Fromtunermodeonly,pressandholdthevolume knob
untilBEEPONorBEEPOFFappears.Pressthevolume knob
againtodisplayAREAUSAorAREAEURO,thenrotatethe
volume knobtoselectoptionappropriateforyourlocation.
Theclockwilldisplay12-hourAM/PMtimeinUSAfrequency
spacingmode(PM10.00).InEuropeanfrequencyspacing
mode,theclockwilldisplay24-hourtime(22.00).

ToplayMP3/WMA/WAVfilesfromanSDcard,insertanSD
cardintotheXR4115'sSDcardslotwiththelabelfacingleft.
Itwillclickintoplacewhenproperlyinserted.Toremove
thecard,pressinuntilitclicks,thenpulltoremove.
WhenaUSBorSDcarddeviceisfirstconnected,playback
willbeginautomatically.Dependingonthenumberoffiles
andfolders,thedevicemaytakeseveralsecondstobegin
