IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using your steam generator iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Please read the following instructions carefully

as they provide important information concerning how to install, use and care for this steam generator iron.

• THE FILLING APERTURE OF THE BOILER UNDER PRESSURE

MUST NOT BE OPENED DURING USE.FOR INSTRUCTIONS

ON HOW TO SAFELY OPEN DE BOILER CAP, PLEASE REFER

TO PAGE 8. DO NOT OPEN THE BOILER IF UNDER PRESSURE.

• Use the steam generator iron only for its intended use.

• To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse in

water or any other liquids.

• The steam generator iron should always be turned o before

plugging it into or unplugging it from a wall outlet. Never pull

the power cord to disconnect from the outlet; instead grasp

the plug and pull to disconnect.

• Do not let the power cord touch hot surfaces.

• Let the steam generator iron cool down completely before

putting it away.

• Keep ventilation slots free from dust.

• Never drop or insert any object into the ventilation slots.

• Do not operate with a damaged cord, hose, plug, safety device or

if the ironing system has been dropped or damaged. This will void

any and all warranties. Please contact Dupray at +44 333 011 2660

for repair procedure.

• Keep away from children.

• Do not use steam on electrical components.

• Do not use this unit in the presence of explosive and/or

flammable fumes.

• To prevent overheating, unravel the electrical cord completely.

• Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being

used or where oxygen is being administered.

• Do not leave the steam generator iron on while unattended.

• To disconnect, turn the main dial OFF, then remove plug from

the main power.

• Never put away your steam generator iron while it is still hot.

There is no need for emptying the tank unless you intend to

leave it unused for a long period of time.

• This product is intended for household use only. Follow all

user instructions in this manual.

• Always follow the manufacturer’s ironing recommendations

for the fabric.

• The iron shall always be placed over the provided rubber

mat, and on a stable surface.

• Avoid all contact between the hot soleplate and other parts,

such as electrical cable, steam hose, and other parts of the

iron to avoid any possible dammage.

• The iron shall never be used if it fell or if there are signs

of dammages or water and/or steam leakages.

ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTIONS

To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit simultaneously with the

steam generator iron. If an extension cord is necessary, a 13-amp rated cord should be used. Cords rated for less may

overheat and cause damage.

WATER INSTRUCTIONS

Your steam generator iron has been designed for use with normal tap water. In order to extend the life of this product,

if the water is very hard where you live, we recommend using 50% normal tap water combined with 50% distilled water.

IMPORTANT: Never put anything else other than water in the boiler.

WARNING: Do not use this machine in the presence of

flammable liquids, dust or dusts that are hazardous to health.

WARNING: Operators shall be adequately instructed

on the use of this steam generator iron.

CAUTION: This machine is for indoor use only.

CAUTION: RISK OF BURNS

This appliance produces steam at a very high temperature. The steam generator iron can get

very hot always use appropriate precautions. Avoid direct skin contact.

HOW TO USE YOUR STEAM GENERATOR IRON

FILLING WITH WATER

Remove the boiler cap (2) and fill the boiler with 1L (34 oz) of water. Securely replace the boiler cap.

IMPORTANT: Never put anything else than clean water inside the boiler.

IMPORTANT: Do not overfill with water. Leave space for steam!

PLUGGING IN THE MACHINE

Unravel completely the electrical cord and connect it to a 13 A 230 V outlet

(make sure the circuit is not already used by another high wattage appliance).

TURNING THE MACHINE ON

STEAM IRONING: Turn the main dial (1) to the position and wait about 10 minutes

for the SteamReady™ indicator (3) to light up. Set the thermostatic control (C) to the

position that corresponds to the fabric you wish to iron. When the thermostat light (D)

goes o, the steam iron has reached proper temperature and is ready to use.

NOTE: The thermostat light (D) will come on and o during use to maintain the iron plate at the optimal temperature.

IMPORTANT: Always follow the manufacturer’s ironing recommendations for the fabric.

RELEASING STEAM

Press the steam release button (A) on the iron’s handle to release steam

or press the locking button (B) for a continuous steam flow.

NOTE: The first time you use your steam generator iron, release steam for

1 minute to make sure there are no production deposit le in the iron.

NOTE: The soleplate must be hot to prevent the steam from condensing

on the soleplate and dripping onto the garment.

REFILLING WITH WATER

When the low water indicator (5) comes on during usage and you would like to continue ironing, you will need to follow these steps:

Before refilling with water, turn the main

dial to the position and hold the

steam release (A) button to release all

pressure inside the boiler.

When all steam has been exhausted from

the boiler, turn the main dial to the OFF

position and wait 10 minutes for the

boiler to cool down.

Open the boiler cap (2). Using the

funnel, pour 1L (34 oz) of water

inside the boiler. Refasten the

boiler cap.

Turn the main dial to the position

(for dry ironing) or to the position

(for steam ironing). Wait 10 minutes for

the SteamReady™ indicator (3) to light up

and the thermostat light to go o.

Continue ironing.

IMPORTANT: Do not overfill with water. Leave space for steam!

WARNING: If all steam pressure has not been released, steam may escape from the boiler cap when opening, use caution.

DRY IRONING: Turn the main dial to the position and set the thermostatic

control (C) to the position that corresponds to the fabric you wish to iron. When

the thermostat light (D) goes out, the iron has reached the proper temperature

and is ready to use.

NOTE:

In this position the unit will not produce steam.

NOTE:

Do not press the steam release button (A) to iron without steam.

TURNING THE MACHINE OFF

When you are done using your steam generator iron, turn the main dial (1) to the OFF position

and unplug the unit.

STORING YOUR STEAM GENERATOR IRON

It is safe to leave water in the boiler when the steam generator iron is not in use.

If it is for an extended period of time (months), then it is best to flush out the remaining water. To do so,

follow the water removal instructions as outlined in the maintenance of the boiler section on page 10.

IRONING TIPS

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING THE BOILER

To maintain your steam generator in good condition and to ensure constant performance, we recommend

that you periodically clean the boiler aer every 50 hours of use or less depending on the water hardness.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Before cleaning the boiler, please make sure that the boiler is at room temperature, that it

has not been used for at least 12 hours, and that the steam generator iron is disconnected

from the power source.

2. Unscrew and remove the boiler cap (2). Turn the steam generator iron over and empty

all the remaining water from the boiler.

3. Dissolve one package of the provided descaling solution in 0.65L (22 oz) of water or mix

equal parts of water and white vinegar, for a maximum of 0.65L (22 oz). Pour it into

the boiler using the provided funnel and leave the boiler cap open. Let sit overnight.

4. Drain the boiler and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

5. Refer to page 7 for instructions on how to refill and turn on the machine.

ATTENTION: It is not recommended that you use any other chemical to clean this product.

Doing so will automatically void the warranty.

CAUTION:

Always follow the manufacturer’s ironing recommendations for the fabric.

WOOL SILK / NYLON VELVET DARK COLOR FABRICS COTTON

Set the thermostatic control (C)

to the Wool setting and vaporize

steam on the fabric. Be careful

not to pull the fabric.

This setting should only be

used for dry ironing. Turn

the thermostatic control (C)

to the Silk or Nylon position.

Gently iron the fabric.

The use of the optional teflon

soleplate is recommended.

Turn the fabric over and

iron quickly and lightly

using little steam iron

from the right side barely

touching the fabric.

The use of the optional teflon

soleplate is recommended.

Turn the thermostatic control (C)

to a low temperature setting.

Set the thermostatic control (C)

to Cotton. This setting can also

be used to on fabrics requiring

more steam pressure and

higher temperature.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY

No steam is released through the

steam iron.

A. The main dial (1) is on the OFF position

or on the position.

B. Boiler is empty.

C. Unit is not plugged in.

D. Generator is not fully heated.

A. Turn main dial (1) to the position.

B. Put required amount of water into the boiler.

C. Plug unit into outlet.

D. Wait for SteamReadyTM light (3) to turn ON.

The iron soleplate remains cold. A. The main dial (1) is on the OFF position.

B. Thermostatic control is set at minimum.

A. Turn the main dial (1) to the correct setting.

B. Turn the thermostatic control (C) dial to the

appropriate setting and wait for the thermostat

light (D) to turn o.

Water drops are leaking from the

soleplate.

A. The soleplate temperature is too low to

iron with steam.

B. The steam iron is not fully heated yet.

A. Increase the temperature on the thermostatic

control (C).

B. Wait for the thermostat light (D) light

to come ON.

Dirty steam is coming out of iron. A. There may be scale in the boiler. A. Clean the boiler as per the enclosed instructions

in the Maintenance section on page 10.

Yellowing and/or melting of the

plastic.

A. Leaving the iron on the iron rest at high

temperature.

A. Do not leave the iron on the iron rest for long

periods of time while it is still hot or in use.

LIMITED WARRANTY

• For a period of twelve (12) months following the purchase of the Product (the “Warranty period”), if the Client has used the Product under normal use and in strict conformity with the instruc-

tions and/or manual of operations provided by Dupray and discovers any defects in material orworkmanship and notifies Dupray in writing thereof during the Warranty period,

Dupray shall use reasonable commercial eorts to repair or replace that portion of the Product found by Dupray to be defective in material or workmanship or refund the purchase price

of the Product or replace the Product or a portion of same. If the product is not repairable, a refurbished equivalent product, or a replacement equivalent product or a store gi certificate

equivalent to the current value towards the purchase of a new product will be issued. If Dupray exchanges the Covered Equipment, the original product becomes Dupray’s property

and the replacement product is your property, with coverage eective for the remaining time of the Warranty period.

• For the Warranty period starting twelve (12) months aer the purchase of the product to a maximum of thirty-six (36) months aer the purchase of the product, the Warranty shall cover

parts only, excluding accessories, shipping and handling costs. During that period, Dupray reserves the right to charge a Service fee for all Warranty claims, in order to repair or replace the

defective Product with a replacement product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability. All replacement products provided under this Warranty will at a minimum be

functionally equivalent to the original product.

THE WARRANTY IS VOID:

A) if the damages a result of an accident, abuse, freezing, impact, alteration, non authorized

usage, a major force, or use of other electricity than that indicated on the Product;

B) if the product was used with other substances besides water

in the water chamber;

C) if repairs, modifications, or alterations were done by a person not authorized by Dupray;

D) the owner or user neglected to do routine maintenance required and the damages or

problems are directly related to such neglect. It is the Client’s responsibility to keep

equipment in proper condition and to use exclusively Dupray cleaning products so

as to not damage the internal components;

• Dupray oers a lifetime warranty on boilers and a lifetime telephone support.

• It is understood that certain parts of the equipment are not covered by the Dupray warranty due to the fact they require replacement aer multiple use.

Such parts include,but are not limited to, buttons, hoses, seals, etc. These parts will eventually require replacement at the Client’s cost.

• Dupray makes no warranty or representation that the Product complies with any local laws, rules or regulations and Client shall be responsible for obtaining all permits

or authorizations required by any regulatory body for installation or use of the Product.

• DUPRAY MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS AND THE WARRANTY STATEMENT IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, PROMISES, OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESSED

OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. DUPRAY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES

AND CONDITIONS NOT STATED HEREIN. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD. DUPRAY’S LIABILITY

FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH HERE IN.

• The Client understands that it shall strictly comply with the operation instructions or manual provided by Dupray in relation to the Product.

FAILURE TO DO SO SHALL EXONERATE DUPRAY FROM ANY WARRANTY AND LIABILITY WHATSOEVER.

• This warranty is to benefit the original purchaser of the product. The warranty is not transferable beyond the original purchaser.

• Dupray may subcontract or assign performance of its Warranty obligations to third parties.

• Dupray is not responsible for any failures or delays in performing under the Warranty that are due to events outside Dupray’s reasonable control.

• This warranty does not cover machines used for rental purposes.

TROUBLESHOOTING

To avoid risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit on your own. Return the unit to Dupray for examination,

repair or replacement. All service is to be performed by authorized professionals of Dupray service centers.

IMPORTANTES MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ

Lorsque vous utilisez votre centrale vapeur, quelques précautions de base sont de mise. Veuillez lire attentivement les directives suivantes:

elles vous donneront des renseignements quant à l’installation, à l’utilisation et à l’entretien de votre centrale vapeur.

• LE BOUCHON DE LA BOUILLOIRE SOUS PRESSION NE DOIT

PAS ÊTRE OUVERT DURANT L’UTILISATION. POUR OUVRIR

LE BOUCHON DE LA BOUILLOIRE DE MANIÈRE SÉCURITAIRE,

RÉFÉREZ-VOUS À LA PAGE 20. N’OUVREZ PAS LA BOUILLOIRE

LORSQU’ELLE EST SOUS PRESSION.

• Utilisez la centrale vapeur uniquement pour l’utilisation à

laquelle elle est destinée.

• Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique, ne submergez pas

l’appareil dans l’eau ni dans aucun autre liquide.

• L’appareil doit toujours être éteint avant d’être branché sur

une prise murale ou d’en être débranché. Ne tirez jamais sur

le cordon d’alimentation: empoignez plutôt la fiche et tirez

pour débrancher l’appareil.

• Ne laissez pas le cordon d’alimentation entrer en contact avec

des surfaces chaudes.

• Laissez la centrale vapeur refroidir complètement avant de

la ranger.

• Gardez les fentes d’aération propres et exemptes de poussière.

• Évitez de laisser tomber ou d’insérer des objets dans les

fentes d’aération.

• Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation, la

fiche, un tuyau ou un dispositif de sécurité sont endommagés, si

l’appareil a été échappé ou s’il est endommagé. Cela mettra fin à la

garantie. Veuillez communiquer avec Dupray au +44 333 011 2660

pour la procédure de réparation.

• Gardez l’appareil hors de la portée des enfants.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil en présence d’explosifs ou de

vapeurs inflammables.

• Afin d’éviter une surchaue, déroulez complètement le

cordon d’alimentation.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil là où des produits en aérosol

(vaporisateurs) sont utilisés ni là où de l’oxygène est administré.

• Ne laissez pas l’appareil allumé en votre absence.

• Pour débrancher l’appareil, tournez l’interrupteur principal à la

position OFF (arrêt), puis retirez la fiche de l’alimentation principale.

• Ne rangez jamais votre appareil lorsqu’il est encore chaud. Il

n’est pas nécessaire de vider le réservoir, sauf si vous prévoyez

ne pas utiliser l’appareil pendant une longue période.

• Cet appareil est conçu pour un usage domestique seulement.

Veuillez suivre toutes les instructions comprises dans le

présent manuel.

• Suivez toujours les recommandations du fabricant

concernant le repassage de vos tissus.

• N’utilisez pas la vapeur sur des composantes électriques.

• Le fer à repasser doit toujours être placé sur le matelas de

caoutchouc fourni avec l’appareil, et sur une surface stable.

• Afin d’éviter tout dommage potentiel, évitez tout contact

entre la semelle du fer lorsqu’elle est chaude et les autres

INSTRUCTIONS ÉLECTRIQUES

Pour éviter toute surcharge du circuit, n’utilisez pas simultanément un autre appareil à puissance élevée sur le même circuit que votre

centrale vapeur. Si une rallonge électrique est nécessaire, utilisez une rallonge avec une intensité nominale d’au moins 13ampères. Les

rallonges ayant une intensité nominale plus basse risquent de surchauer et d’entraîner des dommages.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’EAU

Votre centrale vapeur est conçue pour fonctionner avec l’eau du robinet. Afin de prolonger la durée de vie de l’appareil, si l’eau de votre

municipalité a une concentration élevée en minéraux, nous recommandons d’utiliser 50% d’eau du robinet avec 50% d’eau distillée.

IMPORTANT: Ne mettez jamais de produits autres que de l’eau dans la bouilloire.

AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas utiliser cet appareil en présence de

liquides inflammables ou de poussières dangereuses pour la santé.

AVERTISSEMENT : Les utilisateurs doivent être formés adéquatement

pour manipuler cet appareil.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES ET SPÉCIFICATIONS

COMMENT UTILISER VOTRE CENTRALE VAPEUR

REMPLIR L’APPAREIL

Retirez le bouchon de la bouilloire (2) et remplissez la bouilloire avec 1L (34 oz) d’eau.

Refermez bien le bouchon.

IMPORTANT: Ne versez jamais autre chose que de l’eau propre dans la bouilloire.

IMPORTANT: Ne remplissez pas trop la bouilloire. Laissez de l’espace pour la vapeur!

BRANCHER L’APPAREIL

Déroulez complètement le cordon d’alimentation et branchez la fiche sur une prise de 13 ampères 230V

(assurez-vous que le circuit ne soit pas déjà utilisé par un autre appareil à haute puissance).

METTRE L’APPAREIL EN MARCHE

REPASSAGE À LA VAPEUR: Tournez l’interrupteur principal (1) à la position

et attendez une dizaine de minutes que l’indicateur SteamReadyTM (3) s’allume.

Ajustez le contrôle thermostatique (C) à la position qui correspond au tissu à repasser.

Lorsque le voyant du thermostat (D) s’éteint, l’appareil a atteint la température

adéquate et est prêt à l’emploi.

NOTE: Le voyant du thermostat (D) s’allumera et s’éteindra pendant l’utilisation pour maintenir le fer à une température optimale.

IMPORTANT : Suivez toujours les recommandations du fabricant pour les tissus.

RELÂCHER LA VAPEUR

Appuyez sur le bouton de relâchement de la vapeur (A) sur la poignée du fer

pour relâcher la vapeur ou appuyez sur le bouton de verrouillage (B) pour un

jet de vapeur continu.

NOTE : Lors de la première utilisation de votre centrale vapeur, laissez s’échapper

la vapeur pendant une minute pour vous assurer qu’il n’y a pas de dépôts de

production dans l’appareil.

NOTE : La semelle doit être chaude afin d’éviter la condensation de la vapeur

sur la semelle, ce qui pourrait causer un égouttement d’eau sur vos vêtements.

REMPLIR À NOUVEAU

Si l’indicateur de faible niveau d’eau (5) s’allume pendant l’emploi et que vous souhaitez continuer à repasser, suivez les étapes suivantes:

Avant de remplir l’appareil à nouveau,

tournez l’interrupteur principal à la

position et maintenez enfoncé le

bouton de relâchement de la vapeur (A)

pour relâcher la pression à l’intérieur

de la bouilloire.

Lorsque toute la vapeur a été vidée de la

bouilloire, tournez l’interrupteur principal

à la position OFF (arrêt) et attendez dix

REPASSAGE À SEC : Tournez l’interrupteur principal à la position

et ajustez le contrôle thermostatique (C) à la position qui correspond au tissu

à repasser. Lorsque le voyant du thermostat (D) s’éteint, le fer a atteint la

température adéquate et est prêt à l’emploi.

NOTE: À cette position, l’appareil ne produit pas de vapeur.

NOTE: N’appuyez pas sur le bouton de relâche de la vapeur (A) lorsque

vous repassez à sec.

ÉTEINDRE L’APPAREIL

Lorsque vous avez fini d’utiliser votre centrale vapeur, tournez l’interrupteur principal (1) à la position

OFF (arrêt) et débranchez l’appareil.

ENTREPOSER VOTRE CENTRALE VAPEUR

Il est sécuritaire de laisser l’eau dans la bouilloire lorsque la centrale vapeur n’est pas utilisé. Si vous

prévoyez laisser l’appareil rangé pendant une période prolongée (plusieurs mois), il est cependant préférable

de vider le réservoir. Pour ce faire, suivez les instructions de vidange indiquées dans la section «Entretien» à

la page22.

ENTRETIEN

NETTOYER LA BOUILLOIRE

Afin de maintenir votre centrale vapeur en bon état et d’en assurer un rendement optimal, nous recommandons de nettoyer

régulièrement la bouilloire, soit après 50 heures d’utilisation ou moins, selon la teneur en minéraux de l’eau.

INSTRUCTIONS DE NETTOYAGE

1. Avant de nettoyer la bouilloire, assurez-vous que celle-ci est à la température de la pièce, que

l’appareil n’a pas été utilisé au cours des 12 dernières heures et qu’il est débranché de toute

source d’électricité.

2. Dévissez et retirez le bouchon de la bouilloire (2). Retournez la centrale vapeur à l’envers et videz l’eau.

3. Dissolvez l’un des sachets de solution de détartrage fournis dans 0,65L (22oz) d’eau, ou mélangez en parts égales de l’eau

et du vinaigre blanc pour obtenir un maximum de 0,65L (22oz) de liquide. Versez la solution dans la bouilloire à l’aide de

l’entonnoir et laissez le bouchon ouvert. Laissez agir toute une nuit.

4. Videz la bouilloire et rincez-la bien avec de l’eau propre.

5. Consultez la page19 pour des instructions sur la façon de remplir et d’allumer l’appareil.

ATTENTION : Il n’est pas recommandé d’utiliser d’autres produits pour nettoyer cet appareil. Cela mettra fin à la garantie.

instructions ou le manuel d’utilisation fourni par Dupray et qu’il découvre un défaut au niveau des matériaux de sa fabrication et qu’il avertit Dupray par écrit durant la période de ga-

rantie, Dupray aura l’option de déployer des eorts commerciaux raisonnables afin de réparer ou remplacer la partie (ou portion) du Produit jugée défectueuse par Dupray au niveau des

matériaux ou de sa fabrication ou pourra rembourser le prix d’achat du Produit ou remplacer le Produit ou une partie de celui-ci. Si le produit n’est pas réparable, le client pourra recevoir

un produit équivalent refait à neuf ou un produit de remplacement équivalent ou un certificat cadeau de Dupray, équivalent au montant de la valeur actuelle du produit défectueux pour

l’achat d’un nouveau produit. Si Dupray échange le matériel couvert, le produit d’origine devient la propriété de Dupray et le produit de remplacement devient votre propriété; ce dernier

sera couvert pour la durée restante de la garantie.

• Pour la période de garantie débutant douze (12) mois suivants l’achat du Produit jusqu’à un maximum de trente-six (36) mois suivants l’achat du Produit, la garantie couvrira les pièces

uniquement, excluant les accessoires, les articles d’usure normale et les frais de port et de manutention. Durant cette période, Dupray se réserve le droit de charger des Frais de service

pour toute réclamation couverte par la garantie, afin de réparer ou remplacer le Produit couvert par un produit neuf ou dont les performances et la fiabilité sont équivalentes à celles d’un

produit neuf. Tous les produits de remplacement fournis en vertu de la présente garantie oriront au minimum une fonctionnalité équivalente par rapport à celle du Produit d’origine.

C) si des réparations, modifications ou altérations ont été faites par une personne

D) si le propriétaire ou l’utilisateur ont négligé de faire l’entretien régulier requis

et que les dommages ou problèmes sont directement liés à une telle négligence.

Il est de la responsabilité du Client de garder l’équipement en bonne condition

et d’utiliser uniquement les produits de nettoyage de Dupray afin de ne pas

endommagerles composantes internes.

• Nonobstant les points 1 et 2, Dupray ore une garantie à vie sur les bouilloires et un soutien technique téléphonique à vie.

• Il est convenu que certaines pièces de l’équipement ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie de Dupray, car elles doivent être remplacées après plusieurs utilisations.

Parmi ces pièces on retrouve, les boutons, tuyaux, joints d’étanchéité, et plusieurs autres. Ces pièces devront éventuellement être remplacées, et ce, aux frais du Client.

• Dupray ne garantit pas et n’airme pas que le Produit est conforme à de quelconques lois, règles ou réglementations locales et le Client a la responsabilité d’obtenir

tous les permis ou toutes les autorisations exigées par les organismes réglementaires régissant l’installation ou l’utilisation dudit Produit.

• Verwenden Sie den Dampfreiniger ausschließlich zum

bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendungszweck.

• Zum Schutz vor Stromschlag sollten Sie das

Dampfbügeleisen nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten

eintauchen.

• Vor dem Einstecken in die Steckdose bzw. dem Ausziehen

des Steckers sollte das Dampfbügeleisen stets ausgeschaltet

werden. Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel, um den Stecker

herauszuziehen. Fassen Sie stattdessen den Stecker an und

ziehen Sie ihn aus der Steckdose heraus.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit einem defekten Stromkabel,

Stecker, Schlauch oder einer defekten Sicherheitsvorrichtung

oder wenn das Dampfbügeleisen fallen gelassen oder beschädigt

• Vermeiden Sie Kontakt zwischen der Heizplatte

VERWENDUNG IHRES DAMPFBÜGELEISENS

NACHFÜLLEN DES WASSERS

Entfernen Sie den Kesseldeckel (2) und füllen Sie den Kessel mit 1l (34 Unzen) Wasser.

Befestigen Sie die Kesseldeckel.

WICHTIG: Immer nur sauberes Wasser in den Kessel einfüllen.

WICHTIG: Nicht überfüllen. Lassen Sie Freiraum für Dampf!

ANSCHLIESSEN DES GERÄTES

Wickeln Sie das Netzstromkabel vollständig ab. Stecken Sie das Netzstromkabel in eine entsprechende Steckdose (13 A 230 V) und stellen Sie

sicher, dass nicht bereits ein anderes Gerät mit hoher Wattzahl auf demselben Stromkreis betrieben wird.

EINSCHALTEN DES GERÄTES

DAMPFBÜGELN: Schalten Sie den Hauptregler (1) auf die Position

und warten Sie etwa 10 Minuten, bis die SteamReady™-Anzeige (3) aufleuchtet. Stellen

Sie die Temperatursteuerung (C) auf die Position, die dem Sto entspricht, das Sie

bügeln möchten. Wenn die Temperaturregler-Leuchte (D) erlischt, hat das

Dampfbügeleisen die korrekte Temperatur erreicht und ist betriebsbereit.

HINWEIS: Die Temperaturregler-Leuchte schaltet sich während des Gebrauchs ein und aus, um die optimale Temperatur der Bügeleisenplatte beizubehalten.

WICHTIG: Befolgen Sie stets die Bügelempfehlungen des Herstellers für den Sto.

DAMPF FREIGEBEN

Drücken Sie die Dampaste (A) am Handgri des Bügeleisens, um Dampf

freizugeben, oder drücken Sie den Feststellknopf (B) für eine

kontinuierliche Dampreigabe.

HINWEIS: Vor dem Erstgebrauch Ihres Dampfbügeleisens lassen Sie bitte für

1 Minuten Dampf ab, um sicherzustellen, dass sich keine Rückstände der

Herstellung im Dampfbügeleisen befinden.

HINWEIS: Die Sohle muss heiß sein, um zu verhindern, dass Dampf

auf der Bügelsohle kondensiert und auf das Kleidungsstück trop.

NACHFÜLLEN DES WASSERS

Wenn die Wassermangelleuchte (5) während des Gebrauchs aufleuchtet und Sie weiter bügeln möchten, führen Sie diese Schritte aus:

TROCKENBÜGELN: Stellen Sie den Hauptregler auf die Position

und stellen Sie die Temperatursteuerung (C) auf die Position, die

dem Sto entspricht, den Sie bügeln möchten. Wenn die Temperaturregler-

Leuchte (D) erlischt, hat das Dampfbügeleisen

die korrekte Temperatur erreicht und ist betriebsbereit.

HINWEIS: In dieser Position erzeugt das Bügeleisen keinen Dampf.

Vor dem Nachfüllen mit Wasser schalten

Sie den Hauptregler auf die Position

und halten Sie die Dampaste (A)

gedrückt, um allen Druck im Inneren

des Kessels zu entlasten.

Wenn aller Dampf aus

dem Kessel entwichen ist, schalten Sie

den Hauptregler auf die Position AUS

(OFF)und warten Sie 10 Minuten, bis sich

der Kessel abgekühlt hat.

Verwenden Sie den Trichter, um

1l (34 Unzen) Wasserin den Kessel

einzugießen. Befestigen Sie den

Kesseldeckel wieder.

Drehen Sie den Hauptregler auf die

Position (zum Trockenbügeln) oder

auf die Position (zum Dampfbügeln).

Warten Sie 10 Minuten, bis die

SteamReady™-Anzeige (3) aufleuchtet und

die Temperaturregler-Leuchte erlischt.

Fahren Sie mit dem Bügeln fort.

WICHTIG: Nicht überfüllen. Lassen Sie Freiraum für Dampf!

WARNUNG: Wenn der Dampfdruck nicht entlastet wurde, kann beim Önen Dampf aus dem Kesseldeckel austreten. Verwenden Sie Vorsicht.

HINWEIS: Drücken Sie die Dampaste (A) nicht, wenn Sie ohne

Dampf bügeln.

AUSSCHALTEN DES GERÄTS

Nach der Benutzung Ihres Dampfbügeleisens drehen Sie den Hauptregler (1) in die Stellung AUS (OFF)

und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

AUFBEWAHRUNG IHRES DAMPFBÜGELEISENS

Sie können Wasser im Kessel lassen, wenn das Dampfbügeleisen nicht in Gebrauch ist. Wenn Sie es für einen

längeren Zeitraum (Monate) nicht verwenden, dann sollte das restliche Wasser vorzugsweise geleert werden.

Dazu folgen Sie den Anweisungen zum Entleeren des Wassers, wie im Abschnitt Wartung des Kessels auf

Seite 10 beschrieben ist.

Um Ihren Dampfreiniger in gutem Zustand zu behalten und eine dauerhae Leistung zu gewährleisten, empfehlen wir Ihnen, den Kessel

2. Schrauben Sie den Kesseldeckel (2) ab und entfernen Sie ihn. Drehen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen um und entleeren Sie das

verbleibende Wasser aus dem Kessel.

3. Lösen Sie ein Päckchen der mitgelieferten Entkalkungslösung in 0,65 l (22 Unzen) Wasser oder mischen Sie zu gleichen Teilen Wasser

und weißen Essig bis zu einem Maximum von 0,65 l (22 Unzen). Gießen Sie die Lösung in den Kessel mit dem mitgelieferten Trichter

und lassen Sie den Kesseldeckel oen. Lassen Sie das Gerät über Nacht stehen.

4. Entleeren Sie den Kessel und spülen Sie ihn gründlich mit sauberem Wasser aus.

den Sto kaum berühren.

Thermostatsteuerung (C)

auf Baumwolle. Diese Einstellung

und ein höhere

Temperatur erfordern.
