Technical Descrip on
The MS 9/8 G-HQ mul switch is used for the distribu on of
8 SAT IF levels of two QUATTRO LNBs + terrestrial signals.
At this mul switch 8 par cipants / receivers should preferably
be connected via TV sockets.
Switching is done with 14/18 V (ver cal / horizontal),
0/22 kHz (low/high band) and DiSEqC (SAT A / SAT B) by the
connected receiver.
Unused receiver outputs should be terminated.

Safety Notes
Bi e überprüfen Sie die Anlage vor Inbetriebnahme auf
evtl. Kurzschlüsse der Koaxial-Kabel.
• Der Montageuntergrund muss schwer en lammbar, staubfrei und
sicher gegen Feuch gkeit, Regen und Spritzwasser sein.
• Es muss bei der Montage ein Mindestabstand von 10cm zu anderen
Geräten eingehalten werden.
• Die Belü ungsöff nungen am Netzteil dürfen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
• Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belü ung und setzen Sie das Gerät
keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung aus.
• Nicht in unmi elbarer Nähe von Wärmequellen mon eren.
• Die zulässige Betriebstemperatur muss am Montageort zu jeder
Zeit eingehalten werden.
• Der Netzstecker muss immer leicht zugänglich sein,
damit das Gerät schnell vom Stromnetz getrennt werden kann.
• Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Eingangspegel der SAT-Ebenen
möglichst gleich hoch sind.
• Alle Installa onen und Montagen dürfen nur durchgeführt werden,
wenn der Netzstecker gezogen ist!
• Die entsprechenden Europanormen und VDE-Bes mmungen zur
Gewährleistung der elektrischen Sicherheit sind zu berücksich gen.
• Die na onalen genehmigungsrechtlichen Regelungen für
Rundfunkempfangsanlagen sind zu beachten!
• Insbesondere ist auf die Erdung des Gerätes (Ground-Anschluß)
sowie der SAT-Schüssel mit mind. 4 mm² Schutzleiter zu achten.

- The moun ng surface must be fl ame-retardant, dust-free and
be safe against moisture, rain and splash water.
- A minimum distance of 10 cm must be maintained between the unit and
other devices must be observed.
- The ven la on openings on the power supply unit must not be covered.
- Ensure adequate ven la on and place the unit in a cool place.
Not exposed to direct sunlight.
- Do not install in the immediate vicinity of heat sources.
- The permissible opera ng temperature must be complied at all
mes and seasons.
- The mains plug must always be easily accessible such that the unit
can be quickly disconnected from the power supply.
- Make sure the input levels of all SAT levels
are as equally high as possible.
- All installa ons and assembly work must be carried out,
when the mains plug is pulled out!
- The corresponding European standards and VDE regula ons for
Ensuring electrical safety must be taken into account.
- The na onal approval regula ons for Radio recep on systems must be obeyed!
- In par cular, the grounding of the unit (ground connec on)
as well as the SAT-dish with at least 4 mm² protec ve conductor.
