5. Firmly grasp the brass coaxial connector and disconnect the coaxial cable rom the cradle contact assembly.
6. The L base may now be li ted away rom the rest o the cradle and set aside.
7. Remove the two screws and two washers holding the cradle contact assembly to the cradle case.
8. Remove the contact assembly by pushing it out through the top o the case.
9. Install the replacement cradle contact cable through top o the case.
10. The plastic portion o the cradle contact cable assembly is keyed and will only it onto the cradle case holding tabs i it is in
the correct orientation.
11. Position the cradle contact assembly and install the two screws and two washers that hold the cradle contact assembly to
the cradle case.
12. Install the cradle contact cable connector onto the cradle PCB it is also keyed to connect in one orientation only. Ensure
that the locking mechanism retains the connection.
13. Slide the L base onto the case rom the rear to ensure that the power switch is in the correct position.
14. Re-install the 14 screws on the bottom and rear o the cradle.
15. Connect power to the cradle and veri y unit charges a ter assembly (switch on/o and charging o X-C 6XXX, external RF
connection). Ensure unit shows charger in battery status screen.
