e-pill®4 Alarm Vibrating Pill Box (960622)
This e-pill Medication Reminder can remind you to take
your medications up to four (4) times per day by a
vibrating / beeping / vibrating + beeping alarm. Alarms
repeat automatically every day, no reset required. The four
(4) alarms can be set independently of each other. The pill
box has four (4) compartments (four doses per day). The
asy to read display features a backlight.e

SETTING your new e-pill 4 Alarm Vibrating Pill Box:
CLOCK – Set the Current Time
If this is the initial setup, please remove TWO (both)
insulator strips located under the pill tray. One insulator
is for the clock and the other insulator for the alarm.
• Slide the left side switch to T-SET.
• Press or hold the HOUR button to set the correct HOUR. Please observe the PM indicator.
• Press or hold the MINUTE button to set the correct MINUTES.
• If necessary press the 12H/24H button after setting the time to switch between 12 hour
(AM/PM) format and 24 hour (military time) format.
• Slide the switch back to TIME.
ALARMS - Set Alarms (up to 4 daily alarms)
For each alarm slide the left switch to 1, 2, 3 or 4 (Alarm #).
• Slide the left switch to the alarm you want to set.
• Press ALARM ON/OFF button. A “pill” symbol appear with the alarm #.
• Press or hold the HOUR button to set the correct HOUR. Please observe the PM indicator.
• Press or hold the MINUTE button to set the correct MINUTES.
• Slide the switch back to TIME. Repeat for each alarm you want to set.
MODE - Set type of Alarm (VIB / BEEP / VIB + BEEP)
Select how you want to be notified when the alarm goes off. The setting applies to all alarms.
• Slide the right switch and leave it in postition. Select VIB (Vibrating Alarm), BEEP
(Beeping Alarm) or VIB+BEEP (both).
MEDICATION TIME How to use your new e-pill Medication Reminder:
ALARM - What to do when the ALARM goes OFF
Alarm will vibrate/sound (or both) for 30 seconds. The alarm will repeat twice - in four (4)
minutes and after 8 minutes. While the alarm is vibrating/beeping you will see a flashing “Pill
Symbol” and the Alarm # (1, 2, 3 or 4) and the Scheduled Alarm Time will be shown of the
display, directing you to the pill box with the same # on the back of your e-pill device.
• TAKE your MEDICATIONS.
• Press ROUND BUTTON (ALARM ON/OFF) after you have taken your medications.
The alarm will go off again tomorrow at the same time (no reset required).

If medication times are missed, you should follow the directions from your physcian or
pharmacist before taking any medication out of sequence.
PILLBOX – Daily Medication Tray
Your e-pill comes complete with a Medication Tray (“Pill Box”) containing four compartments.
Pill compartments are labeled 1 thru 4 on the back. The medication compartment snaps open and
will store your pills when locked.
BATTERY – How to Replace the
Batteries
Your e-pill 4 Alarm Vibrating Pill uses
four replaceable batteries. One (1) AAA
battery is used for the alarm (sound and
vibration). Three (3) AG13 batteries
(button cells) are used for the clock.
Replace batteries when the display fades
(clock batteries) or when the
vibration/sound is getting weak (alarm
battery). Normal battery life is 12 months
To open the battery compartment, slide
the switch labeled OPEN in the direction
of the arrow, and SLIGHTLY OPEN the
top casing. Be careful, if you use too
much force to open you may risk breaking the hinges on the back of the top casing. Then lift the
back of the casing to separate it from the lower casing. The batteries are now visible.
AAA Battery (1): Remove the old battery. Place a new fresh AAA battery in the compartment as
indicated by the polarity symbols.
AG13 or equivalent Battery (3): Remove the old batteries. Place three new fresh AG13 (GP76,
LR44, SR44, l1154 or equivalent) with the positive side up.
RESET – How to reset the “computer”
Take a paper clip (not a sharp instrument) and insert it in the small hole above the word RESET
(located on back of the e-pill 4 alarm vibrating pill box, above the word “Medication” between pill
box 2 and pill box 4 - NOT the hole for the sound maker on the right side).
• Press down until 12:00 is displayed. Set the Time and Alarm(s) again.
BACKLIGHT – Turning on the backlight
To turn on the backlight, simply press any button.
