How to:
Unbox and
Assemble
city

Welcome to your new E-Trends City Electric
Bike. Let’s get started.
Carefully unpack the components and remove all of the transit packaging.
Take your time to read the manual and keep it for future reference.

You should have all the parts you see here.
Insert the stem and handlebars into the head tube.

Make sure the handlebars are straight before tightening the bolt with the tool
supplied.
Undo the nuts and safety retaining clips from the wheel axle

Make sure the wheel is facing the correct way by checking the tyre. The
arrows should be pointing in the direction of travel.
Insert the wheel into the forks and add the safety retaining clips, inserting
into the holes as shown here.

Place the basket carrier on to the axle.
Secure basket carrier and wheel with the wheel nuts.

Making sure safety retaining clips are in the holes.
Secure tightly with the spanner provided.

Add the mudguard over the top of the front wheel.
Tighten the bolts with the tool supplied.

Tighten the bolts with the tool supplied.
Tighten the bolts with the tool supplied.

Assemble the front V-brake and slide across the rubber cover.
Attach the headlight to the basket carrier.

To keep the headlight cable out of the way, use the cable tie to fix it to the
basket carrier & trim off the excess.
Place the basket on to the carrier.

Secure basket at the back with the metal plate and 2 nuts and 2 bolts.
Secure the base of the basket with 2 metal plates and 2 bolts as seen here.

Attach the pedals, noting that these are left and right-handed. They must be
fitted on the correct side.
Tighten securely with the spanner.

Insert the battery, then turn the key to lock it in place. Lower the handle.
Insert the seat post, adjust the height and tighten the seat clamp. Make sure
the clamp is tight.

Use the hand-pump supplied to inflate the front and rear tyres. Attach the
hose to the tyre valve as shown. Inflate until each tyre is very firm to press.
Remove the battery insulation tab on the rear light

Use the on/off switch on the light to operate.
Unlock rear hub with the key

Here’s how to charge your City e-bike
battery.
With the battery turned off insert the socket into the battery and plug into the
mains
Charge time is approximately 4-5 hours.

The battery can also be charged without being in the bike.
Press the button to see how much the battery is charged. This row of lights
indicates the charge level.
