Do not wash in dishwasher.
Mixes can also be used in your kitchen oven
(bake at 375°)

• 1 devil s food cake mix
• 1 chocolate frosting mix

• mixing bowls

• teaspoon
• nonstick cooking spray

Oven Basics
Before making any of these recipes… After making any of these recipes…
1. Wash all utensils, pans – and your hands.
2. Preheat REAL MEAL Oven. Press “SET” button
15 times for a preheat time of 15 minutes, then
press “START.” Be sure to preheat oven the full 15
minutes to ensure that oven is ready for cooking.
3. Be sure cooling rack is fully inserted into oven.
4. Be sure that both interior doors are shut and use
pan pusher to insert pan into oven.
When cooking time is complete, you will hear 4
short beeps and 1 long beep. After you hear the
long beep:
1. Use handle end of pan pusher to push cooking pan
all the way through to cooling chamber.
2. Allow pan to cool in cooling chamber for 10
minutes. Pull out cooling rack, then use spatula to
remove pan from rack.

Deluxe Cake Preheat oven for 15 minutes Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray Makes 1 deluxe cake NOTE: Make 2 cakes at once in separate pans by following the instructions below. Cook both cakes side by side in your REAL MEAL oven. 1. Pour contents of each cake mix packet into a separate mixing bowl. Add 3
teaspoons of water for each Yellow Cake mix and 2 1/4 teaspoons for each Devilʼs Food Cake mix and stir each with a spoon until smooth.
2. Pour batter into the separate baking pans and spread evenly. 3. Follow “Oven Basics” instructions for using your oven. 4. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and repeat for 3rd cake. Follow
steps to make chocolate frosting.
3 Single Cakes Preheat oven for 15 minutes Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray Makes 3 cakes NOTE: Make 2 cakes at once by following the instructions below. Cook both cakes side by side in your REAL MEAL oven. 1. Follow the deluxe cake instructions to cook cakes. 2. Top each cake with chocolate frosting and enjoy your tasty treats with
friends or family!

Chocolate Frosting
1. Pour contents of frosting mix packet into mixing bowl. 2. Add 2 teaspoons of warm water, and stir thoroughly with
spoon until smooth. (For thinner frosting, stir in droplets of water to desired consistency.)
3. Frost cake and enjoy!
