General Safety Procedures
Adjust EasyFold PRO wheelchair to your personal comfort level as much as possible.
Take time to learn how the EasyFold PRO operates in a private space before operating
outdoors/large spaces.
Practice bending, reaching and transferring in and out of the EasyFold PRO.
Always be aware of your surroundings when operating.
If unsure as to whether the EasyFold PRO can surpass an obstacle, find an alternate route.
The EasyFold PRO is designed for a single user only; more than one user may result in personal
injury.
Ensure components such as the joystick, battery charger and other electronic components avoid
moisture.
If components come into contact with moisture, dry it before use.
The EasyFold PRO seat is designed for comfort, not specifically for pressure relief; if any concerns,
please consult a physician.
Pre-Operating Safety Procedures
It’s important to maintain the EasyFold PRO. Failure to maintain could increase risk for injury.
Before sitting, make sure the EasyFold PRO is turned OFF. This will ensure the EasyFold PRO will
not move upon transferring on and off the unit.
Ensure the footrest is down.
Make sure feet are safely rested on the footrest.
Check for any unusual noises, vibration, or changes in the ease of use; if a problem is detected, use
the tool kit to perform maintenance or get in touch with us directly through phone or email.

Operating Safety Procedures
Always remain alert and aware of motor vehicles on roads or in parking lots.
At night, or when it is difficult to see, it is suggested to use reflective tape on the EasyFold PRO.
EasyFold PRO is designed for use on firm, even surfaces such as concrete, asphalt or indoor
flooring.
Do not operate the EasyFold PRO in sand or loose soil. This could damage the wheels, bearings,
axles or motors, and may loosen fasteners.
Safe Exit Procedures
Ensure that you bring the EasyFold PRO to a full and complete stop, prior to exiting.
Turn OFF the unit to avoid the wheelchair moving when transferring.
Raise the armrest carefully and transfer from the seat.

Maintenance
It is important to perform regular maintenance of your EasyFold PRO 2.0 for longevity and warranty
eligibility. Even a little cleaning now and then will go a long way to keep your device looking and
functioning like new.
Certified repair shops with trained professionals who specialize in electric wheelchairs and scooters
will be qualified to perform the service and maintenance on your EasyFold PRO 2.0.
We recommend you inspect your EasyFold two or three times per year in the following areas:
(1) Frame: Tighten loose screws as necessary using the tool kit included with your EasyFold
PRO 2.0.
(2) Wheels: Make sure they rotate easily. Significant resistance may require new bearings.
(3) Armrest: Look for excessive wear or if they are loose.
Replacement parts and more major maintenance issues should be done by a professional.
◎ Batteries
(1) Use batteries that have been supplied by EasyFold; our batteries are special lithium
batteries designed specifically for use in the EasyFold PRO 2.0.
(2) Read all battery instructions before attempting to change or charge batteries.
(3) When you haven’t driven the wheelchair for a long time, please ensure the battery is
charged once every month to avoid decreasing battery life.
◎ Fasteners
Many of the screws, bolts and nuts on the PRO 2.0 are special high-strength fasteners. Replacing
these fasteners with non-approved parts may cause your Fold Power Wheelchair D10 to result in
faulty operation and may cause harm to you or other people, therefore:
A. Use fasteners that have been supplied by EasyFold.
B. Using the tools included with your EasyFold PRO 2.0, tighten any fasteners that become
loose as soon as possible.
◎ Change and Adjustments
Never use non-EasyFold PRO 2.0 parts or make changes to your PRO 2.0 unless authorized in
writing by a representative from our company. Doing so will void the warranty and may create a
safety hazard.

Electromagnetic Interference
The EasyFold PRO 2.0 may be susceptible to electromagnetic interference, which is interfering
electromagnetic energy emitted from sources such as radio stations, TV stations, amateur radio
transmitters, two-way radios, and cellular phones. The interference (from radio wave sources) can
cause the EasyFold PRO 2.0 to release its brakes, move by itself, or move in unintended directions.
Install Setup
Your EasyFold PRO 2.0 will arrive carefully packaged in a cardboard box with thick foam padding.
1. Open the top of the box then turn the box on its side for easier unpacking.
2. Components included in your box:

3. To expand the EasyFold PRO 2.0, grasp the push bar and pull up while holding down on the
seat to expand the chair and complete the assembly:
4. Sit on the chair and lean backwards to make sure the clip locker, which is located below the
seat to the rear of the EasyFold PRO 2.0, has locked the seat into place.
5. Install the controller into the open slot on the arm of the chair, on the right side (if the user
needs, this can be changed to the left side). Tighten the knob located under the armrest to secure
the controller in place.
6. Connect the controller wire harness to the CPU wire harness. Take care that the pins line up
properly as the arrow indicates, so that they do not get bent, broken or damaged.

7. Insert two batteries and push to the back of the battery holder.

Controller
The EasyFold PRO 2.0 is equipped with a joystick style controller.
◎ Controller and Driving Tips
1. Take some time in a safe, controlled environment to learn the operation of the controller, the
speed and the maneuverability of the wheelchair.
2. When turning, reduce your speed; this will help you avoid any potential tilting or tipping of the
wheelchair.
3. Be sure to adjust the speed depending on your environment.
4. To slow down, slowly bring the joystick back toward the initial position.
5. To stop, bring the joystick back to the initial position.
6. Use extra care when you drive the EasyFold PRO 2.0 in reverse. You may lose control or fall
if one of rear wheels hits an object. When operating in reverse:
A. Operate the wheelchair slowly and at an even speed.
B. Stop often and check to make sure your path is clear of obstacles.

Before operating your EasyFold PRO 2.0, be sure to read all safety information and precautions
included in this manual. Operate only in the appropriate environment after you have practiced

Reclining In The EasyFold PRO 2.0
The back rest’s angle on the EasyFold PRO is able to be adjusted. To adjust, please follow these
procedures:
STEP 1 - To recline the chair, push the two red clamps together.
STEP 2 - Push down on the back support to set the position.
STEP 3 - Release the clamps once the position is set.
NOTE: When adjusting the backrest, it is advised to do so while the EasyFold is unoccupied. This
ensures there is no pressure on the backrest while adjusting. Adjusting the backrest with an
occupant could result in the rider falling or tipping the EasyFold.

Charging Batteries
Your EasyFold PRO 2.0 will arrive with fully charged batteries, which should last about 18km under
normal operating conditions. We recommend that you run the EasyFold PRO 2.0 until the batteries
are depleted below the 20% of capacity.

which means your batteries are fully charged.
4. The lights and their meanings are located on the back of the charger.
◎ Second Charging Method:

You have the option of charging the batteries individually.
1. Turn off the main power.
2. Flip open the charger port protector on the front of the battery.
3. Use the secondary charger pigtail to adapt the battery charger to plug into the battery
directly.

and AC input power socket.
8. The average time taken to recharge workable batteries will vary from 2 to 8 hours depending
on the level of usage.

10. If you do not operate the EasyFold PRO 2.0 for two months, we recommend that you charge
the battery for 6-8 hours before use.

In order to push the power wheelchair, it must be put in Free Wheel Mode. This mode disengages
the drive mechanism to the wheels, making them free to push manually. Turn off the power of the

1. To put the EasyFold PRO 2.0 in Free Wheel Mode, come to a full stop and turn OFF the
power on the controller.
