Additional battery information
The EasyFold electric wheelchair comes with two charged 24V 7AH
lithium batteries.
Charge the batteries for 3-4 hours for each battery.
Turn off the power to the main units while charging.
Do not leave children unattended near the power wheelchair while it
is charging.
Do not attempt to open the battery case.
Red means the unit is powered up and charging; green means the
unit is fully charged.
Note: This information is also located on the back of the charger.
When the battery is fully charged, remove the cable, then remove the
DC charging connector and the AC power plug.
The average charging time for working batteries ranges from 2 to 8
hours depending on the level of use.
Do not charge for more than 8 hours.
If you are not using the EasyFold PRO 2.0 for two months, we
recommend charging the battery for 6-8 hours before use.
Overcurrent Protection: This system is included in the wheelchair and
cuts off power to the batteries if the battery is tripped, causing the
motor to stop and preventing damage to the motor and battery.
The life of a lithium battery is measured in charge cycles, with an
average of 500 charge cycles.
Check the battery indicator light daily if you use the EasyFold PRO 2.0
frequently.
Do not use battery chargers that have not been certified by EasyFold
Canada.
If the battery is damaged, do not handle it without gloves and eye
protection.
If the battery needs to be disposed of, locate the nearest hazardous
materials disposal facility and call them for instructions.
Before storing your EasyFold PRO 2.0 for extended periods, take the
following steps to maintain the battery:
Do not attempt to charge your battery if it is frozen due to extreme
weather conditions, instead let it thaw for several hours.
a. Fully charge the battery before storing it.
b. Remove the battery from the wheelchair.
c. Store the battery in a dry, room temperature environment.
d. Avoid extreme temperatures, do not allow the battery to freeze.

3. Raise the levers on both
wheels to engage the drive
mode.
2. Lower the levers on both
wheels to engage the freewheel
mode.
1. Locate the 2 red levers on the
inside of the rear wheel hubs.
15
FREEWHEEL
MODE
When in this mode, turn off the power to the wheelchair,
both for safety and to conserve the battery.
This mode disengages the wheel drive mechanism, allowing
the device to be pushed manually.

WARNING!
Never sit in the wheelchair while it is inside of a moving vehicle.
Never transport the power wheelchair in a tethering system (power mode), as the EasyFold
PRO 2.0 is not compatible with these. Do not place the folded power wheelchair on the front
seat with the driver where it could move and slide.
16
To transport your EasyFold PRO 2.0, we recommend that you turn it off
and fold it according to the instructions below.
TRANSPORTING
1. With the unit turned off, place
one hand on the backrest bar to
hold it in place.
2. Place a second hand on the

DIAGNOSTICS
Your controller has an indicator light that, during normal operation, is solid
green. This light also functions as a diagnostic tool by flashing in patterns
that indicate problems. It is important to pay attention to these diagnostics
in case the power wheelchair should be taken out of service for safety
reasons until maintenance can be performed.
If the indicator light indicates a fault, turn the power off and back on. If the
fault is not cleared after the power is turned back on, the indicator repeats
this error message. Please refer to the diagnostic table of fault information
to help you find possible problems and corresponding solutions.
