Dear Customer
Thank you for purchasing the Luxor Deluxe Folding Bed.
The Luxor is a high-quality, folding metal single guest bed. With a tubular metal frame in
anthracite nish, the bed features an automatic mechanism for extending and folding the legs,
and comes complete with a reex/memory foam mattress in a beige polyester fabric. The frame
has a eucalyptus wood sprung slat base for added comfort, and folds easily, with tted casters
for extra mobility.
PARTS LIST
A 2 x Side Snap Locks
B 2 x Centre Leg Cross Bar
C 4 x Castors
D 1 x Spanner
E 4 x Plastic Caps
F 2 x Leg Retention Bolt
G 4 x Locking Nuts (for castors)
H 2 x Locking Nuts (for leg retention bolt)
I 1 x Headboard
J 2 x Headboard Bolt
K 2 x Nut (for headboard bolt)
ASSEMBLY
1. Carefully remove all packaging.
2. Unfold the bed, remove the xing pack and headboard and rest to one side so as not to lose or
misplace any of the parts enclosed. Please check all the xings are enclosed before
starting assembly.
3. Place the bed on its side and extend the two centre legs fully (Fig A). It is recommended that
you place the bed on a clean, at surface in order to protect the mattress and assemble the bed
more easily.
4. Place 1 x centre leg cross bar (B) over one of the holes in the centre leg. Please note that the
centre leg cross bar must be positioned at against each centre leg (see Fig B). Take
1 x castor (C) and align the screw through the centre leg cross bar and through the pre-drilled
hole in the centre leg. Secure in place with 1 x locking nut (G) and tighten with the spanner (D)
provided. Repeat this process for the other side and other centre leg cross bar.
5. Re-position the bed to its upright position,
release the side snap locks (A) and carefully
lower one side of the bed until the leg
retention bar aligns with the hole in the
corresponding extended outer leg hole (see
Fig C). Once the two holes are aligned secure
in place with 1 x leg retention bolt (F) and
1 x locking nut (H). Tighten with spanner, it
is recommended that you use a screwdriver
to hold in place the bolt when tightening
the locking nut. Repeat this process for leg
retention bar on other side of the bed. This
process will enable the automatic leg action
this bed provides when unfolding it from its
closed position.
Please note the bed must be partially
unfolded for the two holes to align.
