• WhenusingtheAshCleanertovacuumreplaceash,noasheswithatemperaturemorethan40°C
shouldbevacuumed.Noashesandotherobjectswithintherethatarenotcompletelyextin-
guishedshouldbevacuumed.
• Donotusetheapplianceifthelterisnotinstalled!Donotuseotherltersexcepttheoneattached
totheAshCleaner.
• Theterm“ColdAsh”isashcooleddownforasufcienttimewithoutanyembers.Thiscanbecon-
rmedbyscouringtheashforpocketsofembersbyusingmetaltoolsbeforeusingtheashvacuum
cleaner.Coldashdoesnotemitanyrecognizableheat.

• RemovetheAshCleanerandaccessoriesfromthepackaging;pleasecheckallthe
partsareenclosedbeforeusingforthersttime(seepartslist).
• Insertthealuminiumtubeandcreviceintothesofttube,andattachtheotherendof
softtubeintothetank.

before operation.
• Whentheapplianceisnotinoperation,pleaseremoveplugfromthepowersupplymains.
• Theplugmustberemovedfromthesocket-outletbeforecleaningormaintainingtheappliance
• Don’tremovetheplugbypullingthepowercord.
• DonotleavetheAshCleaneralonewhennotinuse.
• TheAshCleanerisnottobeusedbychildrenundertheageof8yearsandpersonswithreduced
physical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeen
givensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthe

CLEANING THE FILTER
• PleasenotonlytheHEPAlterprovidedwiththeAshCleanermustbeused.
• Whenthetankisfulloryouexperiencelossofsuctionthelterwillneedtobe
removed and cleaned.
• Toremovetheltersimplyun-hookthetwosidecatchesonthecover.
• Removethelterguardandlterfromthecoverbypullingcarefullyinanupward
motion–thepartswillseparatewithalittleforce.
• Tocleanthelteritisrecommendedthatyouuseasoftbristlebrush(notincluded)to
removethedust/ash.
• Itisalsopossibletocleanthelterusingagardenhoseorshowerhead,simply
spraywaterfromtheinsideoftheltertoremovedust/ash.Pleaseleavetodryfor
atleast24hourssothelteriscompletelydrytotouchbeforeusing.
• Toreplacesimplyinsertthelterintothelterguardandpushintotheunderneathof
thecover.

nonsenseworkhorse.Engineeredforcleaningupbarbecues,grates,andwood-burning
stoves,itmakesshortworkofashandclinker,wood,coalandcharcoalparticles.The
sortofstuffthatwouldhaveordinaryvacuumcleanersgaspingforairandheadingforthe
repairshop.Withthemuscletomatchitsruggedappearance,ourAshVacispowered
bya800Wmotorandhasagenerous15litrecapacity.Equallysuitableforthegarage
orshed,itwillvacupwoodshavings,paper/cardboardscraps,evenbrokenglass,nuts,
boltsandwashers.FittedwithanHEPAfilter-sotheduststaysinthebag,notintheair
youbreathe-ourAshVaccomeswithanaluminiumcrevicetoolsodirthasnohiding
place.Withacarryinghandleforeasyportability,itmeasures38cm(H)X25.5cm(D)
