comprises a carpeted base board supporting a hoop
of durable plastic bristles. The board makes an inviting
scratch pad, irresistible when sprinkled with catnip
(supplied), while the bristles provide a welcome rubbing
surface that removes shedding hair while they play.
And so easy to clean, the hair is quickly removed with a

soft-upholsterybyusingacombinationofvacuumpower,HEPAlterandUVtechnology.
What is UV-C?
UVstandsforultraviolet,CstandsfortheparticularfrequencyofUVlightthatkillsgerms.
UV-Cisashort-waveultravioletlightinvisibletothenakedeyeandrangesbetween
200/280nanometres.Ithasbeenusedinhospitalsforsterilisationforover100years.
UV-C(UVC)isalsoreferredtoasUVGI(ultravioletgermicidalirradiation).
How does it work?
UV-CpenetratestheoutercellstructureandalterstheDNAmolecule,preventingreplicationand
causingmitesandbedbugstodie.Thisprocesshasbeenproventobeextremelyeffectiveagainst
housedustmitesandbedbugs,aswellasfungusandbacteriasuchasE-coliandStaphylococcus.

USING THE CORDLESS BED VAC AROUND THE HOME
•CarefullyunpacktheCordlessBedVacandallthepartsincluded.Checkthatyouhavereceivedall
thepartsstatedinthe‘parts’sectionoftheinstructionsbeforeuse
•AttachtheAC/DCadaptertotheCordlessBedVacandinserttheplugintoyourmainsoutlet.Itis
recommendedyouchargethebedvacforupto8hoursuponrstuse.Thiswillensurethebatteryis
fullychargedandcanbeusedwithouttheaidofthepowerlead.Forallfutureusesitisonlynecessary
tochargethebedvacforupto3hoursbetweenuses.Thereisnoindicatorlighttoalertyouifthe
CordlessBedVacneedsrecharging,howeveriftheUVlightisnotshowingandyouexperiencelossin
suctionitisrecommendedthatyourechargethebedvacorattachthemainslead.

ofyourmattressduetothehighintensityoftheUVbulb.Movingthebedvacslowlywillensuremore

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Aftereachuseitisrecommendedyouremovethedustltercartridgefromthebedvacandclean
thoroughly.Beforeyouremovethedustltercartridgepleaseensureyouswitchofftheapplianceand
removethepowerlead.
Toremovethedustltercartridgesimplypullinanupwardsmotion(asshownbelow).Itis
recommendedthatyouemptythecontentsintoanoutsidebinorsealedbin.
SlidetheHEPAlteroutofthecartridgeandrinseboththelterandcartridgeinthesinkwithwarmtap
water.Toreassemble,placetheclean,drylterbackintothedustboxthenpushthecartridgeback
Useadampclothtocleantheoutsideofthebedvactoremoveanyexcessdustthatmayhavespilt
fromthedustltercartridge.
