The firmware update

Reference:
Please make sure that all your personal data
are saved of the MonsterPad.
ATTENTION!
The firmware update will erase all data from the memory of the device.
Please open the file MonsterPad_RN_FW_20121026.zip

Please extract the file MonsterPad_RN_FW_20121026.zip to C:\

The installation
__________________________________________________________
Please turn off your MonsterPad.
Please also get sure that the charger is PLUGED OFF the MonsterPad.
Please press the volume button "+" on the MonsterPad and hold it while connecting the device
with the USB cable to the PC.
After connecting the device, please release the button.
Now, this window appears on the PC:

Please select "No, not this time"
and click the next-button to continue.

„Install from a list ... „
and click the next-button to continue.

Please select „Search for the driver ...“
and mark also „Following location in the search“
and click the next-button to search.

Please navigate to the directory
„C:\MonsterPad_RN_FW_20121026\RK291X Rockusb driver\ ... “
+ your processor (amd64 oder x86)
+ your operating system (2000, Vista, Win7 oder XP)
and please confirm with

Please click the button to complete the installation – the installation will be completed.
After that you can disconnect the MonsterPad from the PC.

Firmware update

Please make sure that no other programs are running on your PC.
Please start the program RKBatchTool in the directory
C:\MonsterPad_RN_FW_20121026\2.0 sdk update tool

Please press the volume button "+" on the MonsterPad and keep it pressed while connecting
the device with the USB cable to the PC.
After connecting the device, you can release the button.
Now the area „Device1“becomes coloured:
