INPUT - A low noise, high impedance
instrument input that also will power active
pickups and circuitry. If you want to use
this function, take away the 9 Volt battery
from your bass and strap + and - pole on
the battery holder.
Use a standard stereo jack plug, when
using the phantom powering from the EBS-
Drome.
The power is switchable off if you do not
wish to use this feature, or if you have a
passive instrument without built-in elec-
tronics. Set the DIP-switch no 8 to OFF
(upper position) to defeat the phantom
power.
INPUT - En extremt lågbrusig och hög-
impediv instrumentingång, som dessutom
kan strömförsörja aktiva pickuper. Skall
denna funktion användas, tag bort 9 Volts
batteriet ur basen och kortslut över batteri-
hållarens + och - pol.
Då strömmatning från EBS-Drome till
instrumentet önskas skall en stereotele-
propp användas.
Strömmatningen kan enkelt kopplas bort
om man inte vill utnyttja denna möjlighet
eller t.ex. har ett instrument som inte krä-
ver batteri för att fungera. Ställ då DIP-
omkopplare nr 8 i läge OFF (uppfällt läge)
för att koppla bort strömmatningen.
VIKTIGT: Om du använder phantom
matningen/strömmatningen se till att GAIN
eller VOLUME ratten är nerdragen när du
kopplar in/ut instrumentkabeln.

GAIN - Här justeras instrumentets
signalstyrka till rätt arbetsnivå för vidare
bearbetning i EBS Drome.
För bästa grundnivå, vrid upp GAIN
kontrollen tills PEAK blinkar till vid
högsta utsignal från instrumentet.
Not: Rätt inställd GAIN är en förutsättning
för att signalbearbetningen i EBS Drome
skall bli fullgod.
IMPORTANT: If you are using the
phantom powering make sure the GAIN or
the VOLUME knob is set to zero while
plugging in the instrument cable.
GAIN - Control to adjust the instruments'
signal strength to the right operating level
in the EBS Drome.
For optimum basic signal level, turn up
the GAIN knob until the PEAK led starts
flashing from the strongest signal from the
instrument.
Note: A correctly set GAIN is vital for the
signal processing to work properly in the
EBS Drome.
BALANCED OUTPUT - Is a high quality
balanced output. Designed electronically
floating, which means the output always
will adapt itself when sending to an
asymmetrical device such as an unbalanced
input, to keep a correct level with high
noise immunity.
The balanced output functions as a line
box for connecting to PA mixing consoles
or to studio or broadcast recording units.
Lifting ground is a great aid in many
occasions. When required, set the Gnd Lift
DIP switch (no 1) at the rear panel to upper
position to disconnect the ground from the
output.
The Post Eq DIP-switch no 2 at the rear
selects the signal source. In the upper
position this switch selects the overall
sound included effects, otherwise, in the
lower posision an uncolored sound is taken
immediately after the input and gain
sections.
The balanced output takes its’signal from
the left loop channel by default.
The MONITOR signal is never present
at this output.

SPEAKER SIMULATOR - The EBS-150
Drome features a speaker simulator for the
balanced output. This feature is tuned
together with the speaker and cabinet in
order to send the same sound image from
the combo as heard on stage.
To activate this function, put DIP-switch
no 3 into upper position.
Note: The speaker simulator function is
only available for the balanced output.
BALANCED OUTPUT - Är en
linjeutgång av mycket hög kvalitet. Denna
utgång innehåller en elektroniskt flytande
balansering som vid asymmetrisk
mottagning i t.ex. en obalanserad ingång,
är självjusterande för att alltid ge en perfekt
signalöverföring.
Den balanserande utgången fungerar som
en linebox och kan anslutas till t.ex. PA-
mixers eller studioinspelningsutrustning.
Jordlyft är till stor hjälp när jordbrum
uppstår. Ställ Gnd Lift omkopplaren, DIP-
omkopplare nr 1 i uppfällt läge för att
koppla bort jorden.
Post Eq omkopplaren (DIP-switch nr 2)
väljer vilken signal som skall sändas. I det
övre läget tappas hela ljudbilden av
inklusive effekter, medan det lägre läget
väljer ljudet direkt efter ingångens GAIN
kontroll.
Den balanserade utgången hämtar sin
signal ifrån vänster kanal ifrån
effektloopen.
MONITOR signalen finns aldrig på
denna utgång.

SPEAKER SIMULATOR - EBS-150
Drome innehåller en högtalarsimulator för
den balanserade utgången. Den här
funktionen är kalibrerad mot högtalaren
och kabinettet för att samma ljudspektrum
sänds iväg från kombon som ljudet som
hörs live.
För att aktivera denna funktion, ställ
DIP-omkopplare nr 3 i uppfällt läge.
Not: Högtalarsimulatorn är endast
tillgänglig på den balanserade utgången.
