Installation Instructions
Camera/Monitor System
The EC7000-QK Camera and Monitor Kit from ECCO is designed
to provide a driver with video and audio from up to four cameras (kit
is supplied with one EC2014-C) individually or together on a split
screen for ultimate driver awareness. When properly installed and
used in conjunction with vehicle mirrors, ECCO’s EC7000-QK assists
drivers during hazardous parking and backing situations. This manual
provides information about installation, function, safety, maintenance,
replacement parts and warranty.
Failure to install or use this product according to manufacturer’s recommendations may result in property damage, serious injury, and/or death to
those you are seeking to protect!

1. Proper installation combined with operator training in the use, care, and maintenance of emergency warning devices are essential to ensure
the safety of you and those you are seeking to protect.
2. Exercise caution when working with live electrical connections.
3. This product must be properly grounded. Inadequate grounding and/or shorting of electrical connections can cause high current arcing,
which can cause personal injury and/or severe vehicle damage, including re.
4. Proper placement and installation are vital to the performance of this warning device. Install this product so that output performance of the
system is maximized and the controls are placed within convenient reach of the operator so that s/he can operate the system without losing
eye contact with the roadway.
5. It is the responsibility of the vehicle operator to ensure during use that all features of this product work correctly. In use, the vehicle operator
should ensure the projection of the warning signal is not blocked by vehicle components (i.e., open trunks or compartment doors), people,
vehicles or other obstructions.

Important! Mount the camera at a location that provides the best view of the area immediately behind the vehicle. Generally, mounting locations toward the
top of the vehicle provide the best eld of view. Lower mounting locations reduce the eld of view and increase the likelihood of damage from road spray.
1. Find an appropriate location for installation.
2. Drill holes according to the size of U-bracket and x the U-bracket.
3. Drill a 3/4” (19mm) hole next to U-bracket.
4. Install the camera and sun-visor on U-bracket.
5. Connect the camera tail with the extension cable from inside the vehicle.
6. Loosen the hex head screws and adjust the camera’s position to get the best view angle in the monitor.

Notes:
1. Larger wires and tight connections will provide longer service life for components. For high current wires it is recommended
that terminal blocks or soldered connections be used with shrink tubing to protect the connections. Do not use insulation
displacement connectors (e.g., 3M Scotchlock type connectors)
2. Route wiring using grommets and sealant when passing through compartment walls. Minimize the number of splices to
reduce voltage drop. High ambient temperatures (e.g., under-hood) will signicantly reduce the current carrying capacity of
wires, fuses, and circuit breakers. All wiring should conform to the minimum wire size and other recommendations of the
manufacturer and be protected from moving parts and hot surfaces. Looms, grommets, cable ties, and similar installation
hardware should be used to anchor and protect all wiring.
3. Fuses or circuit breakers should be located as close to the power takeoff points as possible and properly sized to protect the
wiring and devices.
4. Particular attention should be paid to the location and method of making electrical connections and splices to protect these
points from corrosion and loss of conductivity.
5. Ground termination should be only be made to substantial chassis components, preferably directly to the vehicle battery.
6. Circuit breakers are very sensitive to high temperatures and will “false trip” when mounted in hot enviroments or operated
close to their capacity.

Important! Waterproof all connections whether inside or outside the vehicle by using sealant and wrapping
with insulation tape. Wrap tape tightly, overlapping by one-half widths so there are no gaps.

To prevent accidental shock, DO NOT OPEN THE MONITOR CASE. Opening the monitor case will expose the inside of the monitor to conditions
that could adversely affect performance. Any evidence of tampering with sealed components will void the warranty.
Important! Do not expose the monitor to water, it is not waterproof. Any water that leaks into the monitor could cause extensive damage.

Installation instruction of using U-support bracket
1. Select suitable position on vehicle and x the U-support bracket with screws (Figure 3)
2. Fix the monitor to the U-support bracket with angle adjustment screws and adjust the view angle of the monitor
3. Put on the sun-visor and connect the monitor with the AV and power supply conversion cable (Figure 4)

BEEP: To turn on/off the warning tone. Default seng is ON and there will be a beeping sound when menu is
being operated.
SYSTEM: To set TV system: PAL/NTSC.
DIMMER: To set backlighng brightness level of screen. Five levels and AUTO opon are available; the higher
the level, the brighter. When set as AUTO, backlighng automacally adjusts in accordance with the outer
brightness.

TURN IMAGE: To set the camera input(s) to be displayed when le-side camera (camera 1)/right side camera
(camera 2) is acvated. When set as SINGLE, correspond camera input will be displayed when either camera is
acvated. When set as SPLIT, split image of le-side and rear view camera will be displayed when le-side

acvated.
REAR IMAGE: To set the camera input(s) to be displayed when rear view camera is acvated. When set as

view camera will be displayed.
TIRGGER DELAY: To set the delaying me of video display when trigger signals goes off. Delaying me frame: 0-
30 seconds.
SPLIT SCREEN: To set camera input(s) to be displayed when ‘split’ trigger wire is acvated. LEFT/RIGHT is to set
the camera input to be displayed on the le/right side of monitor screen. AUDIO is to set the audio output form
any of the four cameras.

combustible, tapicería del vehículo, etc. que pudieran dañarse.
Instalación, cableado y funcionamiento
Notas:
1. Los cables más largos y las conexiones ajustadas le darán una vida útil más larga a los componentes. Para los cables de alta tensión, se recomienda usar
bloques de terminales o conexiones soldadas con tubería contraíble para proteger las conexiones. No use conectores de desplazamiento de aislamiento (por
ejemplo, conectores de aseguramiento 3M de Scotch).
2. Dirija los cables usando arandelas y sellador cuando pase a través de las paredes del compartimiento. Use la mínima cantidad de empalmes para que
la disminución de voltaje sea menor. Los ambientes con altas temperaturas (por ejemplo, debajo del toldo) reducirán considerablemente la capacidad de
transportar corriente de los cables, fusibles y disyuntores. Todo el cableado debe cumplir con las recomendaciones de tamaño mínimo de cable y otras
recomendaciones del fabricante, y debe protegerse de las partes móviles y las supercies calientes. Deben usarse mangueras, arandelas, nudos de
cables y herramientas de instalación similares para anclar y proteger todos los cables.
3. Los fusibles y disyuntores deben ubicarse tan cerca como sea posible de los puntos de la toma de energía y deben ser del tamaño apropiado para
proteger el cableado y los dispositivos.
4. Debe prestarse especial atención a la ubicación y al método de hacer las conexiones eléctricas y los empalmes para proteger estos puntos contra la
corrosión y la pérdida de conductividad.
5. Las descargas a tierra sólo deben hacerse en componentes sustanciales del chasis, de preferencia directamente en la batería del vehículo.
6. Los disyuntores son muy sensibles a las altas temperaturas y se “activarán en falso” si se instalan en ambientes calurosos o si se operan cerca de su
capacidad.
¡Importante! Instale la cámara en un lugar en el que se tenga la mejor vista del área inmediatamente detrás del
vehículo. Por lo general, los lugares de montaje en la parte superior del vehículo ofrecen el mejor campo de visión.
Los lugares de montaje más bajos reducen el campo de visión y aumentan la posibilidad de recibir salpicaduras de
los vehículos.
1. Encuentre un lugar adecuado para la instalación.
2. Perfore oricios de acuerdo con el tamaño del soporte en U y fíjelo.
3. Perfore un oricio de 19 mm (3/4 de pulgada) junto al soporte en U.
4. Instale la cámara y el protector solar en el soporte en U.
5. Conecte la parte trasera de la cámara con el cable de extensión desde el interior del vehículo.
6. Aoje los tornillos de cabeza hexagonal y ajuste la posición de la cámara para obtener el mejor ángulo de visión
en el monitor.

¡Importante! Haga que todas las conexiones dentro o fuera del vehículo sean a prueba de agua usando sellador
y envolviéndolas cinta para aislar. Ajuste bien la cinta superponiéndola sobre la mitad de la cinta ya colocada para
que no haya espacios vacíos.

1. Seleccione una posición apropiada en el vehículo y je el soporte de montaje en U con tornillos (gura 3).
2. Fije el monitor al soporte de montaje en U con los tornillos de ajuste de ángulo y ajuste el ángulo de visión
del monitor.
3. Coloque el parasol y conecte el monitor con el cable de conversión de AV y alimentación (gura 4).

Instructions d'installation
du système de camèra/moniteur
L’ensemble caméra et moniteur EC7000-QK d’ECCO est conçu pour fournir
au conducteur les images vidéo et le son de quatre caméras au maximum
(l’ensemble est fourni avec une caméra EC2014-C) individuellement, ou
simultanément sur écran partagé, pour lui assurer la meilleure visibilité
possible. Lorsqu’il est correctement installé et utilisé en même temps que les
rétroviseurs du véhicule, l’ensemble EC7000-QK d’ECCO aide les conducteurs
dans les situations de stationnement et de recul dangereuses. Ce manuel
contient des informations sur l’installation, le fonctionnement, la sécurité,
l’entretien, les pièces de remplacement et la garantie.
N’installez pas et/ou n’utilisez pas ce produit de sécurité avant d’avoir lu et compris les informations
de sécurité gurant dans ce manuel.
1. Une installation correcte combinée à la formation de l’opérateur à l’utilisation, à l’entretien et à la maintenance des dispositifs
d’alerte d’urgence sont essentielles pour garantir votre sécurité et celle des personnes que vous essayez de protéger.
2. Faites preuve de prudence lorsque vous travaillez avec des connexions électriques sous tension.
3. Ce produit doit être mis à la masse correctement. Une mauvaise mise à la masse et/ou un court-circuit des connexions électriques

Attention ! Lors du perçage dans une surface du véhicule, vériez que cet endroit est libre de tous ls
électriques, conduites de carburant, sellerie du véhicule, etc. susceptibles d’être endommagés.
Installation, câblage et fonctionnement
Remarques :
1. Des ls de plus grosse section et des connexions serrées offrent une durée de vie utile supérieure aux composants. Pour les ls destinés aux ampérages
élevés, il est recommandé d’utiliser des borniers ou des connexions soudées avec une gaine rétractable pour les protéger. N’utilisez pas de connecteurs
de déplacement d’isolation (par exemple des connecteurs de type Scotchlock 3M).
2. Acheminez le câblage en utilisant des passe-ls et un agent d’étanchéité lors du passage au travers des parois de la cabine. Réduisez au maximum le
nombre d’épissures pour limiter les chutes de tension. Des températures ambiantes élevées (par exemple sous le capot) réduisent considérablement
la capacité de transport du courant des ls, fusibles et disjoncteurs. Tout le câblage doit être conforme à la section minimale de l et aux autres
recommandations du fabricant, et doit être protégé des pièces mobiles et des surfaces chaudes. Tout le câblage doit être xé et protégé par des manches,
passe-ls, attache-ls et d’autres matériels d’installation.
3. Les fusibles ou disjoncteurs doivent être situés aussi près que possible des points de branchement à l’alimentation et correctement dimensionnés pour
protéger le câblage et les dispositifs.
4. Accordez une attention particulière à l’emplacement et à la méthode de réalisation des connexions électriques et des épissures pour protéger ces points de la
corrosion et de la perte de conductivité.
5. La terminaison de la masse ne doit être réalisée que sur des composants importants du châssis, de préférence directement sur la batterie du véhicule.
6. Les disjoncteurs sont très sensibles aux températures élevées et se déclenchent de manière erronée lorsqu’ils sont installés dans des environnements
chauds ou exploités à un niveau proche de leur capacité maximale.
Important ! Fixez la caméra à un endroit qui offre la meilleure visibilité de la zone située immédiatement derrière
le véhicule. En général, les emplacements de xation situés en haut du véhicule offrent le meilleur champ de vision.
Les emplacements de xation situés plus bas limitent le champ de vision et augmentent la probabilité de dommages
provoqués par les éclaboussures de la route.
1. Recherchez un emplacement approprié pour l’installation.
2. Forez des trous correspondant à la taille de l’étrier et xez celui-ci.
3. Forez un trou de 3/4 po. (19 mm) à côté de l’étrier.
4. Installez la caméra et le pare-soleil sur l’étrier.
5. Connectez le raccord souple de la caméra au câble d’extension venant de l’intérieur du véhicule
6. Desserrez les vis à tête hexagonale et ajustez la position de la caméra pour obtenir le meilleur angle de vue sur le moniteur.

Important ! Étanchéiez toutes les connexions à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur du véhicule à l’aide de mastic et de ruban
isolant. Enveloppez-les étroitement de ruban isolant en veillant à ce que les tours se chevauchent de la moitié de

Important ! N’exposez pas le moniteur à l’eau car il n’est pas étanche. De l’eau pénétrant dans le moniteur
pourrait provoquer des dommages importants.

Instructions d’installation de l’étrier de xation
1. Choisissez l’endroit approprié sur le véhicule et xez l’étrier avec des vis (Figure 3)
2. Fixez le moniteur à l’étrier avec les vis de réglage de l’inclinaison et ajustez l’angle de vue du moniteur
3. Placez le pare-soleil et connectez le moniteur au câble de conversion d’alimentation et AV (Figure 4)
