EGG COOKER
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this
manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user
must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors
that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors
shall be ensured by the user/susing and operating this appliance. We
are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use,
voltage uctuation or the modication or adjustment of any part of
the appliance. To protect against arisk of re or electric shock, basic
precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including
the following:
1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage
provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly
grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with
applicable electrical codes according to EN.
2. Check the appliance regularly. Never use the device if the appliance,
the power cord or the plug are damaged, if it has been dropped
(or any other damage) or is not working properly. Have all the
repairs, including areplacement of the power cable carried out by
aprofessional service centre! Do not remove the protective covers
from the appliance; there is arisk of electric shock!
3. Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts of the appliance.
There are no parts inside repairable by the user.
4. Do not immerse the appliance or the power cord in liquids, or
expose it to rain or moisture.
5. Do not bend the power cord over the edge of the table or other
sharp edges, twist it, or leave it near hot surfaces.
6. If you do not use the appliance, switch it o and unplug it from
power. Allow it to cool. Disconnect the power cord by pulling the
plug – never by pulling the power cord.
7. This appliance may not be plugged in an outlet controlled by
atimer or controlled remotely.

8. The appliance must not be used close to water, in bathrooms,
showers or close to pools, where it might fall in water or water may
splash the product.
9. Always use the appliance on alevel, stable surface to prevent it from
tipping over and to prevent spillage of hot liquids. Do not use the
product in sinks, dripping o areas and other places with uneven
surface.
10.Do not place the appliance in places where it may be exposed to
high temperatures from stoves, radiators, gas appliances, etc. Do
not place the appliance on electric or gas stoves and ovens.
11.Do not place other objects on the appliance, do not insert foreign
objects in the openings and do not use it close to walls, drapes, etc.
12.Do not use outside. Keep it in dry place.
13.Never switch on the the appliance without the removable egg rack,
fried eggs tray or properly attached lid.
14.Do not switch on an empty appliance. Fill the cooking vessel so
that the water is between the MIN and MAX lines. Use the included
measuring cup to measure the correct amount of water. Take extra
care not to injure yourself on the egg piercing tip located on the
bottom of the measuring cup.
15.The appliance warms up during operation. Be careful, the steam
escaping from the appliance is very hot! There is arisk of burns.
16.Do not cover these openings or open the lid, do not handle the
appliance in any way. Do not touch hot surfaces. Some parts of the
appliance remain hot for some time after switching o. Use handles
to handle the appliance.
17.Using accessories and attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer may endanger persons and property.
18.Before cleaning and storing, switch o the appliance, unplug it and
let it cool down.
19.The appliance is intended for cooking eggs. Do not use for any
other purpose.
20.This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas,
including:

- kitchenettes in shops, oces and other workplaces,
- appliances used in agriculture,
- appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other residential
areas.
21.ECG is not liable for damage or injury caused by negligence
or improper use. Prior to use do not forget to read carefully all
instructions and information.
22.The external surface of this device heats up and may cause burns.
Do not leave unattended during operation in the presence of
children.
23.This applianceisintendedforuseby children8yearsofage andolder
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
asafe manner and understand the potential hazards. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be made by children unless they are
over 8 years old and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its
power supply out of reach of children younger than 8 years.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Before using the cooker for the rst time, remove the appliance from the box and clean it.
• Clean all accessories of the appliance, that is the transparent lid, measuring cup, holder, etc. with soapy
water, see the section on cleaning and maintenance. Do not immerse the body of the appliance in
water.
Note: You can cook up to 8 eggs in the appliance and make up to 4 fried eggs. The line on the measure
corresponds to eggs of size M.

USING THE EGG COOKER
Cooking eggs
1. Place the egg cooker on aat surface.
2. Use the included measuring cup to measure the correct amount of water. Only ll it with clean water
without anything added (e.g. salt). The degree of cooking of the eggs depends on the amount of water
added and the number of eggs to be boiled, see the following:
→Hard/Hard boiled
→Medium/ medium hard boiled egg (egg white
solid, yolk semi-liquid)
→Soft/ soft boiled
On measuring cup there are lines marked with numbers
1 to 8, which are used to measure water according to the
number of eggs.
Example for measuring the right amount of water
If you need to measure out the water for boiling 4 eggs
softly, ll the measuring cup with clean cold water to the
line marked with the number 4 on the "Soft" scale (soft
boiled)
3. Pour the water into the cooking vessel, on which you then place the egg rack.
4. Pierce the eggs on the non-pointed side using the piercing pin on the bottom side of the measuring cup.
Insert the eggs into the rack with the pointed side of the egg facing down.
5. Place the lid on the upper part of the cooker, connect the cooker to the power supply and switch the
On/O button to the ON position. The light on the switch comes on, which means that the appliance is
heating up.
6. Once the eggs are boiled, abuzzer sounds, the light on the switch goes out and the cooker switches o
automatically. At this point, switch o the appliance using the ON/OFF button and disconnect it from the
power supply.
Note: Make sure that the eggs are not cracked to prevent dirtying of the appliance.
Frying eggs
1. Pour the water into acooking vessel, on which you then place afrying eggs tray. The amount of water in
the cooking vessel determines the degree of cooking.
2. Grease the individual cups in the tray with abit of butter and break the eggs in them. One egg is for one
cup.
3. Place the lid on the cooker.
4. Start cooking by pressing the ON/OFF button.
5. Once the eggs are boiled, abuzzer sounds, the light on the switch goes out and the cooker switches o
automatically. At this point, switch o the appliance using the ON/OF button and disconnect it from the
power supply.
6. Use plastic spatulas to serve eggs to avoid scratching the surface of the tray.
WARNING: After cooking the eggs, switch o the appliance and unplug it to prevent it from switching on
automatically when the cooking vessel has cooled down. This will prevent dry cooking and
wasting of electricity.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
We recommend cleaning after each use.
1. Before cleaning, switch o the appliance with the ON/OFF button, disconnect the power supply and allow
the appliance cool down completely.
2. Clean the lid, measuring cup and rack in hot soapy water, rinse and dry completely.
3. Do not clean the appliance with abrasive cleaners.
4. Wipe the outside of the appliance with adamp cloth.
5. Pour alittle vinegar (approx. 1 teaspoon) into ameasuring cup and add clean water. Pour the resulting
solution into the cooking vessel. Make sure that the level of the solution in the vessel does not exceed

the MAX line. Let it stand for 30 minutes. Then remove the solution, wipe the cooking vessel with aclean,
slightly damp cloth and dry it.
Store the cooker in adry place, such as akitchen counter, table or cabinet shelf. The power cord can be stored
under the bottom of the cooking vessel.

nicht richtig arbeitet. Sämtliche Reparaturen und das Auswechseln
des Stromkabels muss ein Fachservicedurchführen! Demontieren
Sie niemals die Schutzabdeckungen des Gerätes. Dies könnte zu
einem Stromunfall führen!
3. Gerät niemals eigenhändig reparieren, einrichten oder die
Geräteteile auswechseln. Im Gerät benden sich keine Teile, die der
Anwender reparieren könnte.
4. Gerät oder Stromkabel niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen und Regen
oder Feuchtigkeit aussetzen.
5. Stromkabel nicht über Tischkanten und sonstige scharfe Kanten
führen, verdrehen oder in der Nähe von heißen Oberächen liegen
lassen.

6. Gerät bei Nichtbenutzung ausschalten und vom Stromnetz
trennen. Gerät abkühlen lassen. Am Stecker ziehen, um das Kabel
herauszuziehen – niemals am Kabel ziehen.
7. Das Gerät darf nicht an eine Steckdose mit Zeitschalter oder
Fernschaltung angeschlossen werden.
8. Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Wasser, in Badezimmern,
Duschecken oder in der Nähe von Schwimmbecken benutzen, da
es ins Wasser stürzen oder mit Wasser bespritzt werden könnte.
9. Gerät stets auf einer geraden und stabilen Oberäche verwenden,
um ein Umkippen und anschließendes Vergießen heißer
Flüssigkeiten zu vermeiden. Produkt nicht in Spülbecken, auf
Abtropächen und an sonstigen ungeraden Stellen benutzen.
10.Gerät nicht an Orten platzieren, an denen dieses allzu hohen
Temperaturen aus Öfen, Heizkörpern, Gasheizgeräten u.ä.
ausgesetzt werden könnte. Niemals auf Elektro- oder Gasherde
bzw. Backöfen aufstellen.
11.Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Gerät und lassen keine
Fremdkörper in die Geräteönungen eindringen. Gerät nicht in der
Nähe von Wänden, Gardinen u. dgl. verwenden.
12.Nicht im Freien benutzen. Gerät stets trocken halten.
13.Gerät niemals ohne herausnehmbaren Eierhalter, die Platte für
Spiegeleier oder eines richtig aufgesetzten Deckels einschalten.
14.Gerät niemals leerlaufen lassen. Kochgefäß so befüllen, dass das
Wasser zwischen der MIN- und MAX-Markierung liegt. Benutzen
Sie das mitgelieferte Messgefäß, um die richtige Wassermenge
abzumessen. Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig, damit Sie sich nicht
an der Nadel zum Durchstechen der Eier verletzen, die sich auf der
Unterseite des Messgefäßes bendet.
15.Das Gerät erwärmt sich während des Betriebs. Seien Sie vorsichtig,
entweichenderDampf ist sehrheiß!Es bestehtVerbrennungsgefahr.
16.Verdecken Sie nicht diese Önungen oder önen den Deckel, auch
sollten Sie nicht mit dem Gerät manipulieren. Heiße Oberächen
nicht berühren. Einige Geräteteile bleiben auch nach dem

Ausschalten einige Zeit heiß. Benutzen Sie zur Manipulation mit

VOR DER ERSTVERWENDUNG
• Gerät vor der Erstverwendung aus der Kiste herausnehmen und reinigen.
• Reinigen Sie auch sämtliches Zubehör mit Seifenwasser, also den durchsichtigen Deckel, das Messgefäß,
den Gri u.ä., siehe Kapitel Reinigung und Wartung. Gerätekörper und Kabel niemals ins Wasser
tauchen.
Bemerkung: Mit dem Gerät können Sie bis zu 8 Eier und 4 Spiegeleier zubereiten. Der Strich am Messgefäß
entspricht einem Ei der Größe M.
VERWENDUNG DES EIERKOCHERS
Kochen von Eiern
1. Platzieren Sie den Eierkocher auf eine gerade Oberäche.
2. Benutzen Sie das mitgelieferte Messgefäß, um die richtige Wassermenge abzumessen. Benutzen Sie nur
mit reinem Wasser ohne Zusätze (z.B. Salz). Die Zubereitung der Eier hängt von der Wassermenge und der
Anzahl der Eier ab (siehe folgende Skala):
→Hard/hart gekocht
→Medium/ mittel gekochtes Ei (Eiweiß hart, Eigelb
halbüssig)
→Soft/ weich gekocht
Jede Skala ist mit Nummern von 1 bis 8 markiert, die zum
Abmessen des Wassers gemäß Anzahl der Eier dienen.
Beispiele für die Abmessung der richtigen
Wassermenge
Falls Sie Wasser für 4 weichgekochte Eier abmessen
möchten, befüllen Sie das Messgefäß bis zur Nummer 4
„Soft“ (weichgekocht).
3. Gießen Sie Wasser in das Kochgefäß und setzen auf dieses den Eierhalter auf.
4. Stechen Sie die Eier auf der spitzen Seite durch. Benutzen Sie hierfür die Nadel auf der Unterseite des
Messgefäßes. Legen Sie die Eier in den Eierhalter mit der spitzen Seite nach unten.
5. Platzieren Sie den Deckel auf den oberen Teil des Eierkochers, schließen das Gerät an das Stromnetz an
und versetzen den Schalter in Position ON. Falls die Anzeige zu leuchten beginnt, bedeutet das, dass das
Gerät erwärmt wird.
6. Sobald die Eier fertig gekocht sind, ertönt der Sommer, die Anzeige erlischt und der Eierkocher schaltet
sich automatisch aus. Schalten Sie das Gerät mit der ON/OFF-Taste auf und trennen es vom Stromnetz.
Bemerkung: Achten Sie darauf, dass die Eier nicht geplatzt sind, auf diese Weise beugen Sie einer
Verschmutzung des Geräts vor.
Zubereitung von Spiegeleiern
1. Gießen Sie Wasser in das Kochgefäß und setzen auf dieses die Platte für Spiegeleier auf. Die Wassermenge
bestimmt den Zubereitungsgrad.
2. Fetten Sie einzelne Grübchen in der Form mit etwas Butter ein und schlagen die Eier in die Grübchen. In
jedes Grübchen gehört ein Ei.

3. Platzieren Sie den Deckel auf den Eierkocher.
4. Starten Sie den Kochvorgang mit der ON/OFF-Taste.
5. Sobald die Eier fertig gekocht sind, ertönt der Sommer, die Anzeige erlischt und der Eierkocher schaltet
sich automatisch aus. Schalten Sie das Gerät mit der ON/OFF-Taste auf und trennen es vom Stromnetz.
6. Benutzen Sie zum Servieren der Eier eine Kunststospatel, damit Sie nicht die Oberäche der Pfanne
zerkratzen.
WARNUNG: Sobald die Eier fertig gekocht sind, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und trennen es vom Stromnetz. Auf
diese Weise beugen Sie einem automatischen Ausschalten nach dem Abkühlen des Kochgefäßes
vor. Das beugt einem Kochen ohne Wasser der Energieverschwendung vor.
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
Wir empfehlen das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch zu reinigen.
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung mit der ON/OFF-Taste aus, trennen Sie es vom Stromnetz und
lassen es abkühlen.
2. Reinigen Sie den Deckel, das Messgefäß und den Gri mit warmen Seifenwasser, spülen und trocknen
gut ab.
3. Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung keine abrasiven Reinigungsmittel.
4. Wischen Sie die äußere Oberäche mit einem befeuchteten Tuch ab.
5. Gießen Sie etwas Essig (etwa 1 Kaeelöel) in das Messgefäß und geben reines Wasser hinzu. Gießen
Sie die Lösung in das Kochgefäß. Achten Sie darauf, dass Lösungsmenge nicht über die MAX-Markierung
steigt. Lassen Sie die Lösung 30 Minuten einwirken. Gießen Sie die Lösung aus, wischen das Kochgefäß mit
einem befeuchteten Tuch aus und trocknen ab.
Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trocknen Ort (Küchenarbeitsplatte, Pult oder auf dem Regal im Schrank). Das
Stromkabel kann im unteren Teil des Kochgefäßes gelagert werden.

BEZPEČNOSTNÍ POKYNY
Čtěte pozorně auschovejte pro budoucí potřebu!
Varování: Bezpečnostní opatření apokyny uvedené vtomto návodu
nezahrnují všechny možné podmínky asituace, ke kterým může dojít.
Uživatel musí pochopit, že faktorem, který nelze zabudovat do žádného
zvýrobků, je zdravý rozum, opatrnost apéče. Tyto faktory tedy musí
být zajištěny uživatelem/uživateli používajícími a obsluhujícími toto
zařízení. Neodpovídáme za škody způsobené během přepravy,
nesprávným používáním, kolísáním napětí nebo změnou či úpravou
jakékoliv části zařízení. Aby nedošlo ke vzniku požáru nebo k úrazu
elektrickým proudem, měla by být při používání elektrických zařízení

3. Nepokoušejte se spotřebič opravovat, nastavovat ani měnit jeho
díly. Uvnitř nejsou žádné díly opravitelné uživatelem.
4. Spotřebič ani napájecí šňůru nenamáčejte do kapalin, nevystavujte
dešti nebo vlhkosti.
5. Přívodní kabel neohýbejte přes okraj stolu ani jiné ostré hrany,
nekruťte jím, ani jej nenechávejte vblízkosti horkých povrchů.
6. Pokud spotřebič nepoužíváte, vypněte jej aodpojte od sítě. Nechte
jej zchladnout. Napájecí kabel odpojujte tahem za vidlici – nikdy
netahejte za kabel.
7. Tento spotřebič nesmí být zapojen do elektrické zásuvky řízené
časovačem nebo spínané na dálku.

8. Spotřebič nesmí být používán vtěsné blízkosti vody, vkoupelnách,

14. Spotřebič nezapínejte naprázdno. Varnou nádobu naplňte tak, aby
voda byla mezi ryskami MIN aMAX. Kodměření správného množství
vody používejte přiloženou odměrku. Dbejte zvýšené opatrnosti,
abyste se neporanili ohrot na propichování vajec, který se nalézá na
spodní straně odměrky.
15. Při činnosti se spotřebič zahřívá. Buďte opatrní, pára unikající ze
spotřebiče je velmi horká! Hrozí riziko popálení.
16. Nezakrývejte tyto otvory ani neotvírejte víko, nijak se spotřebičem
nemanipulujte. Nedotýkejte se horkých povrchů. Některé části
spotřebiče zůstávají horké inějakou dobu po vypnutí. Kmanipulaci
se spotřebičem používejte držadla.
17. Používání příslušenství a doplňků, které nejsou výrobcem
doporučeny, může vést kohrožení osob či majetku.
18. Před čistěním auložením spotřebič vypněte, odpojte od sítě anechte
vychladnout.
19. Spotřebič je určen kvaření vajec. Nepoužívejte jej kjiným účelům.
20. Tento spotřebič je určen pro použití v domácnosti a podobných
prostorech, jako jsou:

Během chodu nenechávejte bez dozoru vpřítomnosti dětí.
23. Tento spotřebič mohou používat děti ve věku 8 let astarší, aosoby

nebo nedostatkem zkušeností aznalostí, pokud jsou pod dozorem

PŘED PRVNÍM POUŽITÍM
• Před prvním použitím vařiče vyjměte spotřebič zkrabice avyčistěte jej.
• Vyčistěte veškeré příslušenství spotřebiče, tedy průhledné víko, odměrku, držák atd. mýdlovou vodou,
viz kapitola čištění aúdržba. Tělo spotřebiče ani kabel neponořujte do vody.
Poznámka: Ve spotřebiči můžete uvařit až 8 vajec apřipravit až 4 sázená vejce. Ryska na odměrce odpovídá
vejcím ovelikosti M.
POUŽÍVÁNÍ VAŘIČE VAJEC
Vaření vajec
1. Postavte vařič vajec na rovný povrch.

2. K odměření správného množství vody použijte přiloženou odměrku. Plňte ji pouze čistou vodu bez
žádných přísad (např. sůl). Stupeň uvaření vajec závisí na množství přidané vody apočtu vařených vajec
viz následující stupnice:
→Hard/natvrdo
→Medium/ středně uvařené vejce (bílek tuhý,
žloutek polotekutý)
→Soft/ naměkko
Na každé stupnici jsou vyznačeny rysky označené čísly
1 až 8, které slouží kodměření vody podle počtu vajec.
Příklad pro odměření správného množství vody
Potřebujete-li odměřit vodu pro uvaření 4 vajec
naměkko, odměrku naplníte čistou studenou vodou
krysce označené číslem 4 na stupnici „Soft“ (naměkko).
3. Vylijte vodu do varné nádoby, na kterou následně nasaďte držák na vejce.
4. Propíchněte vejce na straně, která není špičatá, pomocí propichovače na spodní straně odměrky. Vložte
vejce do držáku tak, aby špičatá strana vejce směřovala dolů.
5. Položte víko na horní část vařiče, zapojte vařič do zásuvky apřepněte vypínač do polohy ON. Rozsvítí se
kontrolka na spínači, což znamená, že se spotřebič zahřívá.
6. Jakmile jsou vejce uvařena, zazní bzučák, kontrolka na vypínači zhasne avařič se automaticky vypne.
Vtéto chvíli spotřebič vypněte pomocí tlačítka ON/OFF aodpojte od sítě.
Poznámka: Dbejte na to, aby vejce nebyla prasklá, předejdete tím znečištění spotřebiče.
Příprava sázených vajec
1. Vylijte vodu do varné nádoby, na kterou následně nasaďte plato na sázená vejce. Množství vody ve varné
nádobě určuje stupeň uvaření.
2. Vymažte jednotlivé důlky ve formě trochou másla arozklepněte do nich vejce. Do každého důlku patří
jedno vejce.
3. Položte víko na vařič.
4. Spusťte vaření tlačítkem ON/OFF.
5. Jakmile jsou vejce uvařena, zazní bzučák, kontrolka na vypínači zhasne avařič se automaticky vypne.
Vtéto chvíli spotřebič vypněte pomocí tlačítka ON/OF aodpojte od sítě.
6. Kservírování vajec používejte plastové špachtle, abyste nepoškrábali povrch pánvičky.
VAROVÁNÍ: Po uvaření vajec přístroj vypněte aodpojte ze sítě, abyste zabránili automatickému zapnutí po
vychladnutí varné nádoby. Zabráníte tak vaření na sucho aplýtvání elektrické energie.
ČIŠTĚNÍ AÚDRŽBA
Čištění doporučujeme po každém použití.
1. Před čištěním spotřebič vypněte tlačítkem ON/OFF, odpojte napájecí zdroj a nechte spotřebič zcela
vychladnout.
2. Očistěte víko, odměrku adržák vhorké mýdlové vodě, opláchněte azcela osušte.
3. Spotřebič nečistěte abrazivními čisticími prostředky.
4. Vnější povrch spotřebiče otřete navlhčenou látkou.
5. Nalijte trochu octa (cca 1 kávovou lžičku) do odměrky adolijte čistou vodu. Vzniklý roztok nalijte do varné
nádoby. Dbejte na to, aby hladina roztoku vnádobě nepřesahovala rysku MAX. Nechte 30 minut působit.
Následně roztok odstraňte, varnou nádobu utřete čistým mírně navlhčeným hadříkem aosušte.
Vařič skladujte na suchém místě, jako je kuchyňská deska, pult nebo polička skříně. Napájecí kabel lze
skladovat pod spodní částí varné nádoby.
