1. Anwendung
Die Tischladestation DCX 00 ist eine Ladestation für ein Mobiltelefon X.com und ein Akkumodul
AMX x0. Sie können das Mobiltelefon oder das Akkumodul einzeln sowohl beide Geräte gleichzeitig
laden. Es dürfen alle Versionen des X.com (40x, 50x, 60x) sowie alle Versionen des Akkumoduls
(40, 50, 60) geladen werden.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
Die vorliegende Bedienungsanleitung enthält Informationen und Sicherheitsvorschriften, die für eine
sichere Funktionsweise bei den beschriebenen Bedingungen unbedingt zu berücksichtigen sind.
Eine Nichtbeachtung dieser Informationen und Hinweise kann gefährliche Folgen haben oder gegen
Vorschriften verstoßen. Vor dem Gebrauch des Geräts ist die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam zu
lesen! Im Zweifelsfall (in Form von Übersetzungs- oder Druckfehlern) gilt die deutsche Bedienungs-
anleitung.
3. Fehler und unzulässige Belastungen
Sobald zu befürchten ist, dass die Gerätesicherheit beeinträchtigt wird, muss das
Gerät außer Betrieb genommen werden.
Die unbeabsichtigte Wiederinbetriebnahme muss verhindert werden. Wir empfehlen, das Gerät zu
einer Überprüfung an den Hersteller zu schicken.
Die Gerätesicherheit kann z.B. gefährdet sein, wenn:
- am Gehäuse Beschädigungen sichtbar sind.
- das Gerät unsachgemäßen Belastungen ausgesetzt wurde.
- das Gerät unsachgemäß gelagert wurde.
- das Gerät Transportschäden erlitten hat.
- Fehlfunktionen auftreten.
- die zulässigen Grenzwerte überschritten wurden.

4. Sicherheitsvorschriften
Die Benutzung der Tischladestation DCX 00 setzt beim Anwender die Beachtung der üblichen
Sicherheitsvorschriften voraus, um Fehlbedienungen am Gerät auszuschließen.
Zu beachten sind nachfolgende Punkte:
- Das Gerät darf nicht in den Ex-Bereich eingebracht werden.
- Das Gerät, die Mobiltelefone und die Akkumodule dürfen nicht außerhalb des
Temperaturbereichs von 0°C ... +40°C (+32°F ... +104°F) liegen.
- Das Gerät darf nur innerhalb von Gebäuden und in trockenen Räumen angeschlossen werden.
- Es dürfen nur die original ecom Mobiltelefone X.com x0x (40x, 50x, 60x) und die original ecom
Akkumodule AMX x0 (40, 50, 60) geladen werden.
- Verwenden Sie nur das original mitgelieferte Netzteil, um die Tischladestation an das Stromnetz
anzuschließen.
- Setzen Sie niemals ein Mobiltelefon ohne korrekt eingelegtem Akkumodul in das
Ladeteil für das Mobiltelefon.
- Schalten Sie das Mobiltelefon in der Nähe von medizinischen Geräten aus, wenn Sie durch
entsprechende Vorschriften dazu aufgefordert werden!
- Schalten Sie das Mobiltelefon nicht ein, wenn die Nutzung von Mobiltelefonen untersagt ist; es
kann zu Störungen kommen oder Gefahren können entstehen.
- Hersteller von Herzschrittmachern empfehlen, einen Mindestabstand von ca.15 cm zwischen
einem Mobiltelefon und einem Herzschrittmacher einzuhalten.

6. Funktionsbeschreibung / Bedienungshinweise
Bitte lesen Sie sich vor Inbetriebnahme diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, damit Sie alle
Funktionen Ihres Geräts kennen und nutzen können. Lesen Sie zu Ihrer Sicherheit und Information
die Hinweise auf den folgenden Seiten.

6.3 Inbetriebnahme
Stecken Sie den Stecker der Verbindungsleitung des
Netzteils in die Anschlussbuchse (3) der Tischladestation (1).
Schließen Sie das Netzteil an das Stromnetz mit Hilfe des für Ihre
Region notwendigen Adaptersteckers an.
Drehen Sie hierzu mit dem beigelegten Schraubendreher die
Sicherungsschraube in der Mitte des Adapters komplett heraus.
Drücken Sie anschließend den entsprechenden Adapter mit der
Steckerseite in Richtung Leitung auf das Netzteil und drehen Sie
die Schraube wieder in den Adapter hinein (nur leicht festziehen,
damit die Schraube nicht überdreht wird).
Zur Entnahme des Adapters muss die Sicherungsschraube in der
Mitte (1) des Adapters komplett herausgeschraubt werden. Drücken (1)
Sie anschließend den grauen Knopf an der Oberseite nach unten und
ziehen Sie den Adapter (2) ab.

Für Nordamerika wird kein Adapterstecker benötigt.
Dazu muss der zweipolige Stecker Typ A (Nordamerika) aus dem Netzteil
hochgeklappt werden. Nun können Sie ein Mobiltelefon wie unter Punkt
„4. Sicherheitsvorschriften“ bezeichnet in das Ladeteil für das Mobiltelefon (2)
einsetzen und/oder Sie können ein Akkumodul wie unter Punkt
„4. Sicherheitsvorschriften“ bezeichnet in das Ladeteil für das Akkumodul (1)
einsetzen.
6.4 Status LED Akkumodul
rot Akkumodul wird geladen
grün Akkumodul ist vollständig geladen

blinkend Fehler! Trennen Sie die Tischladestation vom Stromnetz, entnehmen Sie das Akku- modul und setzen Sie es erneut ein. Blinkt die LED nach dem Wieder-
anschluss an das Stromnetz immer noch, so ist das Akkumodul defekt. Verwenden
Sie dieses Akkumodul nicht mehr!
6.4 Status LED Tischladestation
blau Die Tischladestation ist an das Stromnetz angeschlossen

Fehler! Trennen Sie die Tischladestation vom Stromnetz und entnehmen Sie das
Akkumodul und/oder das Mobiltelefon. Setzen Sie anschließend die entnommenen
Geräte erneut ein. Blinkt die LED nach dem Wiederanschluss an das Stromnetz
immer noch, so ist das Akkumodul defekt. Verwenden Sie dieses Akkumodul nicht
mehr!

Den Ladestatus des im Mobiltelefon befindlichen Akkus entnehmen Sie bitte dem Display des
Mobiltelefons.
7. Reparatur
Reparaturen sind durch ecom instruments GmbH oder durch von ecom instruments GmbH auto-
risierte Personen bzw. Service Center durchzuführen, da eine sicherheitstechnische Überprüfung
nach einer Reparatur erforderlich ist.
8. Reinigung, Wartung und Lagerung
- Gerät nur mit einem geeigneten Tuch oder Schwamm reinigen.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine Lösungs- oder Scheuermittel.
- Es wird empfohlen, die Funktion des Geräts alle zwei Jahre vom Hersteller überprüfen zu lassen.
- Bei längerer Lagerung ist das Mobiltelefon und/oder das Akkumodul aus dem Gerät zu
entnehmen.
- Zulässige Lagertemperaturen wie unter Punkt „5. Technische Daten“ beschrieben nicht unter- bzw.
überschreiten!
9. Entsorgung
Bitte beachten Sie, dass nach §7 ElektroG Verordnung alle elektronischen Geräte, die
sowohl mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichnet sind, sowie jegliches elektrische Zubehör nicht
über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen. Das trifft in diesem Fall vor allem auf
Ladegerät, Netzteil und Adapterstecker zu. Bitte beachten Sie diese Vorschrift, um die Umwelt-
belastung bei der Entsorgung von Altgeräten möglichst gering zu halten. Elektroaltgeräte sowie
„historische“ Elektroaltgeräte von der Firma ecom instruments GmbH werden zu unseren Lasten
der Entsorgung zugeführt und nach der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG und dem deutschen
Elektro-Gesetz vom 16.03.2005 kostenfrei entsorgt. Der Versand der Geräte zu ecom instruments
GmbH geht auf Kosten des Versenders.

10. Garantie und Haftung
Für dieses Produkt gewährt die ecom instruments GmbH laut den allgemeinen Geschäftsbedin-
gungen eine Garantie von zwei Jahren auf Funktion und Material unter den angegebenen und
zulässigen Betriebs- und Wartungsbedingungen. Ausgenommen hiervon sind alle Verschleißteile
(z.B. Akkus).
Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produkte, die unsachgemäß verwendet, verändert,
vernachlässigt, durch Unfälle beschädigt oder anormalen Betriebsbedingungen sowie einer
unsachgemäßen Handhabung ausgesetzt wurden. Forderungen auf Gewährleistungen können
durch Einsenden des defekten Geräts geltend gemacht werden. Reparaturen, neues Einjustieren
oder Austauschen des Gerätes behalten wir uns vor.
Die voranstehenden Garantiebestimmungen sind das einzige und alleinige Recht auf Schadenersatz
des Erwerbers und gelten ausschließlich und an Stelle von allen anderen vertraglichen oder gesetz-
lichen Gewährleistungspflichten. ecom instruments GmbH übernimmt keine Haftung für spezielle,
unmittelbare, mittelbare, Begleit- oder Folgeschäden sowie Verluste einschließlich des Verlusts
von Daten, unabhängig davon, ob sie auf Verletzung der Gewährleistungspflicht, rechtmäßige oder
unrechtmäßige Handlungen, Handlungen in gutem Glauben sowie andere Handlungen zurückzu-
führen sind.
Falls in einigen Ländern die Begrenzung einer gesetzlichen Gewährleistung sowie der Ausschluss
oder Begrenzung von Begleit- oder Folgeschäden nicht zulässig ist, könnte es sein, dass die oben-
genannten Einschränkungen und Ausschlüsse nicht für jeden Erwerber gelten. Sollte irgendeine

durchsetzbar befunden werden, so bleiben die Wirksamkeit oder Erzwingbarkeit irgendeiner ande-
ren Bedingung dieser Garantiebestimmungen von einem solchen Spruch unberührt.

1. Application
The desktop charger DCX 00 is a charging station for a mobile phone X.com and a battery module
AMX x0. You can charge the phone or battery module individually or charge both devices simulta-
neously. All X.com versions (40x, 50x, 60x) and all versions of the battery module (40, 50, 60) may
be charged.
2. Safety precautions
These operating instructions contain information and safety regulations which are to be observed
without fail for safe operation in the described conditions. Non-observance of this information and
these instructions can have serious consequences or it may violate regulations.
Please read these operating instructions carefully before starting to use the unit!
In case of any doubt (in the form of translation or printing errors) the German language operating
instructions shall apply.
3. Faults and damage
If there is any reason to suspect that the safety of the unit has been impaired, it must be withdrawn
from use.
Measures must be taken to prevent it from being restarted accidentally. We recommend that the unit
is returned to the manufacturer for inspection.
The safety of the unit may be compromised, if, for example:
- there is visible damage to the housing.
- the unit has been subjected to excessive loads.
- the unit has been improperly stored.
- the unit has been damaged in transit.
- malfunctions occur.
- permitted limit values have been exceeded.

4. Safety regulations
Use of the desktop charger DCX 00 assumes that the operator complies with conventional safety
regulations in order to eliminate faulty operation of the unit.
The following points are to be observed:
- The unit may not be taken into the Ex-area.
- The unit, mobile phones and battery modules should not be exposed to temperatures outside
0°C ... +40°C (+32°F ... +104°F).
- The unit should only be used indoors and in dry areas.
- Only original ecom Ex-mobile phones X.com x0x (40x, 50x, 60x) and the original ecom battery
modules AMX x0 (40, 50, 60) may be charged.
- Only use the original mains adapter supplied when connecting the desktop charger to the power
supply.
- Never place a mobile phone in the charger without a correctly inserted battery module.
- Switch off the mobile phone when in close proximity to medical instruments and if you are reque-
sted to do so by corresponding regulations!
- Do not switch on the mobile phone when the use of such devices is prohibited, as it may cause
interference or result in danger.
- Manufacturers of cardiac pacemakers recommend a minimum distance of approx. 15 cm is main-
tained between a mobile phone and a pacemaker.

6. Functional description/operating instructions
Please read this manual carefully before use so that you are familiar with, and are able to use,
all of the functions of your charger. For your own safety and information please read through the
instructions on the following pages.

6.3 Initial operation
Insert the connecting cable for the mains adapter into the
jack (3) on the desktop charger (1).
Connect the mains adapter to the power supply using the adapter
plug required for your region. Completely unscrew the safety screw
in the centre of the adapter using the supplied screwdriver.
Then press the appropriate adapter onto the mains adapter with the
plug side towards the cable and secure the screw back into the
adapter (only screw in lightly to prevent over-tightening it).
When doing this press the appropriate adapter onto the mains
adapter with the plug side towards the cable.
To remove the adapter the securing screw located in the middle (1) (1)
of the adapter must be completely unscrewed. Then depress the
grey button on the top side and remove the adapter (2).

An adapter plug is not required for use in North America.
Here the two-pin plug type A (North America) must be unfolded from the mains
adapter. You can now insert a phone into the charging element for the phone (2)
as described under point 4 „Safety regulations“, and/or you can insert a battery
module into the charging element for the battery module (1) as described under
point 4 „Safety regulations“.
6.4 LED for battery module status
red Battery module is being charged
green Battery module is fully charged
red flashing Fault! Disconnect the desktop charger from the socket, remove the battery module
and re-insert it. If the LED continues to flash after re-connection to the power
supply, it means the battery module is defective. Do not continue using this battery
module!
6.4 LED for desktop charger status
blue The desktop charger is connected to the power supply.

Fault! Disconnect the desktop charger from the socket and remove the battery
module and/or the phone. Then re-insert the device(s) you removed. If the LED
continues to flash after re-connection to the power supply, it means the battery
module is defective. Do not continue using this battery module!
Please refer to the phone‘s display for information regarding the charge status of the battery located
in the phone.

7. Repair
Repairs are to be conducted by ecom instruments GmbH or by personnel or service centres aut-
horised by ecom instruments GmbH, because the safety of the unit needs to be tested after repairs
are implemented.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and storage
- Only use a suitable cloth or sponge to clean the unit. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning
agents when cleaning.
- It is recommended that you have the functionality of the unit inspected by the manufacturer every
two years.
- The mobile phone and/or battery module should be removed from the unit during prolonged
periods of storage.
- Do not allow storage temperatures to exceed or fall below the permitted range specified under
point 5 „Specifications“!
9. Disposal
Please note that according to Section 7 of the ElektroG (Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Act) all electronic appliances and accessories that are designated with this symbol should
not be disposed of together with normal household waste. In this case it primarily applies to
the charging unit, the mains adapter and the adapter plug. Please observe this regulation in order to
minimise the environmental impact when disposing of old appliances.
Old electrical devices as well as „historical“ old electrical devices from ecom instruments GmbH are
supplied for disposal at our expense and disposed of free of charge in accordance with European
Directive 2002/96/EC and the German electrical law of 16/03/2005. The costs associated with
returning devices to ecom instruments GmbH are to be borne by the sender.

10. Warranty and liability
In accordance with our general terms and conditions ecom instruments GmbH provides a warranty
for this product for a period of two years regarding its function and material under the specified and
permitted operating and maintenance conditions.
This excludes all parts that are subject to wear and tear (e.g. batteries).
This warranty does not extend to products that are used improperly, have been modified, neglected,
damaged in accidents or exposed to abnormal operating conditions and inappropriate handling.
Any claims under the warranty can be invoked by returning the defective equipment to the manuf-
acturer. We reserve the right to repair, adjust or exchange the device.
The aforementioned guarantee conditions are the sole and only right of the purchaser to com-
pensation, are exclusively valid and replace all other contract or legal warranty obligations. ecom
instruments GmbH assumes no liability for special, direct, indirect, accompanying or consequential
damage as well as losses including the loss of data, independent of whether it was caused by viola-
tion of the warranty obligation, lawful or unlawful action, action in good faith or any other action.
If the limitation of a legal warranty as well as the exclusion or limitation of accompanying or conse-
quential damage is not permissible in certain countries, it may be that the aforementioned limitations
and exclusions are not valid for every purchaser. Should any such clause of these warranty
conditions be declared ineffective or unenforceable by a competent court, then the effectiveness or
enforceability of any of the other conditions of these warranty conditions shall remain unaffected by
such a judgement.

1. Utilisation
La station de charge DCX 00 s‘utilise avec un téléphone mobile X.com et un module de batterie
AMX x0. Le téléphone mobile et le module de batterie peuvent être chargés séparément ou simul-
tanément. La station de charge est compatible avec toutes les versions du téléphone mobile X.com
(40x, 50x, 60x) et du module de batterie (40, 50, 60).
2. Remarques concernant la sécurité
Le présent mode d‘emploi contient des informations et des consignes de sécurité à respecter
impérativement pour un fonctionnement sûr dans les conditions décrites. Le non-respect de ces in-
formations et consignes peut avoir des conséquences dangereuses ou être contraire aux directives.
Avant d‘utiliser l‘appareil, lire attentivement le mode d‘emploi !
3. Erreurs et efforts non admissibles
Dès qu‘il apparaît un doute sur la capacité de l‘appareil à assurer une sécurité totale, mettre
l‘appareil hors service. Empêcher toute remise en service accidentelle. Nous vous recommandons
d‘envoyer l‘appareil au fabricant en vue de son contrôle.
La sécurité de l‘appareil peut par exemple être remise en question si :
- des dommages sont visibles sur le boîtier.
- l‘appareil a été soumis à des efforts non conformes.
- l‘appareil a été stocké de façon non conforme.
- l‘appareil a subi des dommages lors du transport.
- des dysfonctionnements se produisent.
- les valeurs limites admissibles ont été dépassées.
