9. Entsorgung und
Wiederver ertung
Das erät be ndet sich in einer Verpackung um
Transportschäden zu verhindern. Diese Verpa-
ckung ist Rohsto und ist somit wieder verwend-
bar oder kann dem Rohsto kreislauf zurückge-
führt werden. Das erät und dessen Zubehör
bestehen aus verschiedenen Materialien, wie
z.B. Metall und Kunststo e. Defekte eräte ge-
hören nicht in den Hausmüll. Zur fachgerechten
Entsorgung sollte das erät an einer geeigneten
Sammelstellen abgegeben werden. Wenn Ihnen
keine Sammelstelle bekannt ist, sollten Sie bei
der emeindeverwaltung nachfragen.
10. Lagerung
Lagern Sie das erät und dessen Zubehör an
einem dunklen, trockenen und frostfreiem Ort. Die
optimale Lagertemperatur liegt zwischen 5 und
30 C. Bewahren Sie das Elektrowerkzeug in der
Originalverpackung auf.

mask is used.

3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vib-
rations if the equipment is used over a pro-

5. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before ma ing
adjustments to the equipment.
Bit insertion/removal (Fig. 2/Item 1)
Push a drive socket insert onto the square drive
mount (1).
To remove it, pull the drive socket insert o of the
square drive mount (1).
6. Operation
Danger!
To avoid danger, the machine must only be held
using the t o handles (2).
6.1 Cloc wise/Counter-cloc wise selector
switch (Fig. 3/Item 3)
You can select clock ise or counter-clock ise
rotation using the rocker s itch (3).

Important!
To avoid gear damage, make sure that the tool
has come to a complete stop before you change
the direction of rotation.
6.2 Wor ing with the impact driver
Loosening:
• Mount a drive socket insert on the impact dri-
ver (see Paragraph 5).
• Place the impact driver on the scre /nut and
loosen the scre /nut by pressing the “R” end
of the rocker s itch (3).
• If the scre s/nuts are very tight or if they are
rusted, use a tire rench or torque rench to
slightly loosen them.
Tightening:
• Caution! Only use the impact driver for loo-

sening screws/nuts. If you wish to use the
impact driver to tighten screws and nuts,
you must also use a torque limiter which is
designed for this purpose. If not, the screw
connection may e damaged. A torque limiter
is availa le from your dealer. It is not supplied
with this tool.
" Prior to tightening, carefully insert the screw/
nut into the threads.
" It is important that screws/nuts with special
torque specifications (for example provided
y the vehicle manufacturer in the automoti-
ve sector) are tightened only with a suita le
torque limiter.
Hazard!
Always tighten and check screws/nuts with a
torque wrench set to the torque speci ed y the
manufacturer.
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power ca le for this equipment is damaged,
it must e replaced y the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug efore star-
ting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
" Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possi le. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or low it with compressed air at low
pressure.
" We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
" Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Carbon br shes
In case of excessive sparking, have the car on
rushes checked only y a quali ed electrician.
Danger! The car on rushes should not e rep
laced y anyone ut a quali ed electrician.
8.3 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.

9. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from eing damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can e reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
e taken to a suita le collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the wherea outs of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council o ces.
10. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories in a dark
and dry place at a ove freezing temperature. The
ideal storage temperature is etween 5 and 30
°C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.

4. The guarantee is valid for a period of 24 months starting from the purchase date of the device. Gu-
arantee claims should be submitted before the end of the guarantee period ithin t o eeks of the
defect being noticed. No guarantee claims ill be accepted after the end of the guarantee period.
The original guarantee period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or
parts are replaced. In such cases, the ork performed or parts tted ill not result in an extension
of the guarantee period, and no ne guarantee ill become active for the ork performed or parts
tted. This also applies if an on-site service is used.

Please keep your bill of purchase or other proof of purchase for the ne device. Devices that are
returned ithout proof of purchase or ithout a rating plate shall not be covered by the guarantee,
because appropriate identi cation ill not be possible. If the defect is covered by our guarantee,
then the item in question ill either be repaired immediately and returned to you or e ill send you
a ne replacement.
