THP800 Series 3-way speakers set a new

design. With their deep bass, smooth mids
and accurate highs, the THP800 Series
excels at any job –
front left/right
or center,
rear
or side channel surround, or in any stereo
application where the best in high-fidelity
in-ceiling audio is desired.
Radically Innovative Design
ELAN's unique patent-pending, 3-way
design allows the sound field to be
steered directly into the
optimal listening area.
Since bass frequencies
are omni-directional,
each 8-inch woofer
is aimed directly
downward for
maximum
dispersion. Mids
and highs,
however, are
considerably
more directional.
The 800 Series’ midrange drivers and
tweeters are set into an angled rotating
assembly that allows them to be steered
into the listening area, providing for
unparalleled separation and imaging, and
making for incredibly smooth and articulate
vocal reproduction.
Laser-Guided Calibration
Additionally, each tweeter pivots
independently, allowing for even more
pin-point accuracy of upper frequencies.
A precision laser pointer, included with each
800 Series speaker, fits snugly into a notch
built in to the tweeter's housing, allowing
meticulous calibration of high frequencies
into your Home Theater's “sweet spot” in
only minutes.
