aesthetics, cosiness and thermal comfort.
The wood stove is category 1 b) according to EN 13299.
3. Installation Guide
The stove installation must be carried out in accordance with the technical
standards and legal requirements of your local area, region, country, which are in
effect;
The stove installation and use should take place in rooms with normal fire
protection and resistance and in accordance with any provisions of fire prevention
2
building and technical standards;
The wood stove with built-in water heater is designed for building in and
therefore the niche in which it would be built-in must be constructed of non-
combustible material.
The stove must be installed on a horizontal fireproof floor with the necessary
capacity. To protect the floor a stable fireproof pad may be used, which should
extend beyond the stove at least 50 cm in front and 30 cm aside;
Within the stove radiating area, the distance from the insulated stove to any
combustible materials /on the sides and on the rear/ must be at least 10 cm, and
the distance from the front side must be at least 90 cm; It is recommended that
the air space between the insulated stove and the niche walls is at least 10 cm.
The stove must be installed in a suitable place to allow normal ignition, loading
and maintenance;
It is recommended to operate the stove with a separate chimney. If you connect
other heating appliances in the same chimney, its draft power must be calculated
accordingly.
The chimney is intended to draw the combustion products from the stove and
discharge them in the atmosphere outside the home.
The upward draft or “pulling” of the chimney is the result of a combination of
height and temperature difference between the flue gas and the outside air. This
difference determines the lower pressure in the warm chimney and higher
external air pressure. It is not significant, but it is exactly this difference, which
creates the draft. For higher and hotter chimneys the draft is better.
Before connecting the stove to the chimney, consult a chimney specialist to
measure the draft.
Lower draft is a precondition for difficult kindling, burning and return of flue gases.
This may be caused by:
- Accumulated soot inside the chimney, which decreases its diameter
while increasing resistance for rising flue gases;
- Cracked chimney wall or a loose rosette;
- Loose flue pipes, or pipes pushed deeply into the chimney, thereby
reducing or clogging its intersection.
The connecting elements (rosette and stovepipes) must be installed
tightly and firmly to ensure hermeticity, but without interfering with the chimney
passage section. The stovepipes must be the same size as the stove extension.
- Use of a chimney with a small draft by several stoves on close levels;
- Smoking inside may occur when the weather outside is warmed
suddenly – hot gases from the ignition of the fire cannot escape through the cold
chimney. In such case use greater amount of quickly burning sticks.
- In unsealed roofs or open windows on the upper floor the effect
“staircase-chimney” creates reverse draft;
- When a chimney is located in an overpressure area caused by wind.
3
The stove must get fresh air of at least 4 m³ / h for each kW thermal power.
Where appropriate secure an air flow from adjacent premises or outside air.
The stove combustion process must not experience shortage of air due to the
gravity effect or due to forced aspirations, since this is a prerequisite for the
incomplete combustion or returning of flue gases inside.
The heating system to which the stove with a water heater will be connected must
comply with local, regional and national requirements according to the
regulations.
Installation and testing of components and modules of the heating installation
should only be performed by qualified, authorized personnel.
The manufacturer is not liable for damages, caused to persons or property in case
of failure or faulty operation if the above stated precautions are not met.

4. Operating instructions
Comply with the instructions of this manual for stove proper operation and
prevention of accidents. Before beginning any operation, as user you must have
read and fully understood the contents of this instruction manual;
The unit cannot be used by people (including children) with reduced physical,
visual or mental abilities or with little experience and knowledge, unless they have
been trained and instructed how to use it by the person responsible for their
safety;
The stove must be used only for its intended purpose. Any other way of using it
must be considered incorrect and risky;
Most of the stove surfaces are extremely hot (door, handle, glass, flue pipe, etc.).
When handling those parts, protective means – gloves must be used;
The stove must not be ignited with open door or broken glass under any
circumstances;
Before any cleaning or maintenance operations, make sure that the stove is
completely extinguished and cold;
Before any ignition clean the grill and the firebox from ash;
Never use for ignition and / or as a fuel flammable materials and liquids.
Never use the stove for burning waste;
Niche under the combustion chamber is decorative. The placement and drying of
combustive materials is prohibited;
Incineration of waste (garbage) leads to unpredictable consequences. Waste
contains various substances / chemicals that react when burned together. When
you burn them, you do not destroy them, but only change their chemical
composition, adding a whole cocktail of poisons in the flue gases. All of the
manufactured stoves are designed and tested for use with dry wood without glues
and paints.
If there is a fire in the flue pipe or chimney, extinguish the fire and never
open the stove door. Call the authorized agencies and bodies or firefighters
accordingly.
Improper installation and operation, or poor maintenance (not compliant to the
instructions of the present guide) can cause damage to people, animals or
objects.
Users are responsible for the proper installation and operation of the
product, releasing the company from liability for all its acts or omissions.
5. Installation and operation of the wood stove / heating chamber
with a water heater on solid fuel.
Attention!!!
Design and construction of the heating installation must be
5
performed by an authorized organization. The installation must comply with
all applicable standardization documents /regarding operation and safety/.
The heating stove on solid fuel with water heater which you have
purchased gives you the perfect opportunity to heat the adjacent rooms with
radiators.
The maximum rated pressure is 1 bar.
The maximum admissible value of the water temperature in the water heater
is 85 °C.
In the combustion chamber of the stove is built in a water tank with a heat output
as per the table in p. 1.
When installing a heating system the following basic rules and recommendations
must be observed:
Before the construction of the installation, it is recommended that the heat losses
in each specific case are calculated. When switching on consumers with
greater power than that of the water heater indicated in the table in p. 1
occurs cooling of the heating surfaces of the water heater which leads to
condensation, seal and sharp drop in power.
The installation needs to be connected to the atmosphere with an open
expansion vessel with a capacity of 18L, mounted at the highest point of the
installation but not more than 9 m from the level of the water jacket. No
check valves must be installed between the wood stove and the expansion
vessel. This system operates at a pressure below 1 bar.
An aeration of each branch and element of the installation at any point of its
operation, as well as of the wood stove should be provided.
In the installation adjacent to the stove, at the lowest point, a drain valve, not
less than ½", must be installed.
All elements of the installation must be protected against freezing, especially if
the expansion vessel or other parts of it are located in unheated rooms.
In installations with forced circulation the pump is provided with uninterruptible
power supplying device – automatic mode (UPS). It is recommended that the
circulation pump is switched on and off by a thermostat, duplicated with a manual
power switch.
When using an old system, it must be repeatedly washed away to remove the
accumulated dirt, which would precipitate on the walls of the water heater.
Do not drain the circulating water during the non-heating season.
For the wood stoves with a water heater it is recommended that at least once a
month the surface of the water heater is cleaned from soot and tarry substances.
By placing suitable insulation between the wall and radiators you will achieve
radiant heating, which has proven benefits.
This water heater also provides another option - installing water heater with a heat
exchanger for hot sanitary water.
6
The manufacturer does not give warrant y on the operation of the
heating system, but only on the wood stove . Calculation s and installation of
the heating system to be carried out by an authorized and licensed
organization!
In case of improper joining, due to the increased pressure, a bulging
of the water heater and rupture of the welds occur. The manufacturer does
not give warranty for such defects.

6. Way of working
6.1. First ignition
After installing and connecting the stove to the chimney, be sure to check
the bricks integrity within the stove and their assembly. Make sure that the grill in
the combustion chamber is properly located and lies right at the base and is not
shifted during the unit transportation.
Open completely the valves for the primary air and flue gases.
Wood stove models with water heater: Make sure that the heating system
is filled in with circulation fluid and that there are no leaks; Make sure that all shut-
off valves between the wood stove and the system are open; Make sure that
before starting the heating system is fully vented; Make sure that the firebox and
the flue pipe are clean and that there is no limestone precipitated on the heating
circuit.
It is recommended that the room is provided with an adequate ventilation
during the first ignition, because the stove shall produce a small amount of smoke
and a smell of paint.
We recommend that a single charge of the stove with fuel is no more than
5 kg/h.
Ignition: Put two chopped pieces of dry wood in the combustion chamber
on both sides of the grill. Crumple a newspaper and place it in front of the grill
between the chopped wood. Do not use glossy or impregnated paper. On the
paper place a number of small dry kindling. Arrange the kindling so that they do
not fall down and stifle the incipient fire. Put some finely chopped logs over the
kindling. Light the paper. When the paper burns, close the door of the combustion
chamber. Leave the primary air valve of the ashtray fully open (but the ashtray
must be tightly closed) (fig. 4) until the flame spread throughout the combustion
chamber.
Do not touch the stove during the first ignition, because at this phase its
paint cauterizes.
Do not stand near the stove and ventilate the room. The release of smoke
and the smell of paint will stop after about one hour of operating the stove.
6.2. Refuelling
How much wood is needed depends on the power of the wood stove and
the desired heating.
Finely chopped wood piled crosswise burn faster because the incoming
air is able to reach all the pieces together. Such an arrangement is suitable if
intensive heat generation is desired. To achieve a long stable fire, gather the
embers in the grate and load onto them compact bigger logs. The dense and
parallel arrangement of the logs prevents penetration of air and flames between
the logs, thus keeping their core for later burning. Open the valve of the primary
air entirely until kindling of the wood outside. Then reduce the air to achieve the
desired intensity of combustion. The ashtray must be tightly closed.
8
Fig. 4
OPEN CLOSED
6.3. Criteria for proper combustion
Burning must run with the presence of flames until the conversion of
wood into embers. The purpose is to prevent smoldering and smoke. Smoke is
not a normal product of burning wood, but is a consequence of poor combustion.
Refractory bricks in the firebox must maintain their natural color in tan, not in
black.
With dry wood and sufficient primary air an immediate kindling on every new
recharge must be achieved.
The glass ceramic of the door must remain clean.
The gases, going out of the top of the chimney must be transparent or
white. The grey smoke indicates that there is a smoldering and poor combustion.
7. Maintenance, cleaning and storage
•When buying a stove transport it carefully and protect it from mechanical
damage.
•The thermo resistant paint with which the stove is painted bakes during the first
one or two ignitions and then turns mechanically stable. During this process, the
room must be ventilated from the released gases.
•During operation, the stove door must be closed. Upon opening the door for
refueling, close the primary air vents, and be cautious for embers falling out of the
stove.
•The power of the stove is adjusted through the valves for the primary air and the
flue gas outlet. The air valve of the flue pipe is operated by a handle, situated at
the side of the flue pipe (Fig. 5).
•It is recommended to carry out warming in a closed container or to use foil or
baking paper bag.
•Do not use the cold stove for storage of hot bakery products in order to avoid
condensation.
•Do not touch the stove with bare hands while hot.
•Clean the ashtray on daily basis. Do not dispose of the ashes in plastic
containers.
•Regularly clean the passage sections of the flue gases in the stove and the flue
9
ОТВОРЕНО ЗАТВОРЕНО
pipes.
•Painted surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents. If
you want to refresh the paint, use a suitable spray bottle.
•Wipe the stove glass with a damp cloth, if necessary, it can be washed with
detergent and tap water after removing it from the door. Toughened glass of the
door is washed and dried when it is cold.
•In order to prevent condensation and corrosion when the stove is inoperative for
a long time (for example during the non-heating period), it must be cleaned of
dust and debris from the fuel. Leave the door slightly ajar and regulating units
open for better air circulation around and through the stove.
•Do not carry out any unauthorized changes to the stove design!
