Elebike VOYAGER User manual

VOYAGER Assembly Instructions
Open the box. Remove any of the loose items
before lifting the Voyager out. The pedals and
charger are located inside the small cardboard box
inside.
Carefully lift out of the box and place on a hard, flat,
clean workspace.
Remove all protective material from the Voyager.
The head stem crown is already placed on top of
the head tube. Make sure it is not discarded
alongside any protective packaging material.
Insert head stem into head tube. The head stem
can be raised or lowered to suit the riders comfort.
Tighten the head stem with a 6 mm allen key. You
can adjust the angle of the head stem with the 6
mm allen key on the side if desired too.
Adjust the handlebar head cap such that the
handlebars are at the desired riding angle for
riders comfort.
Insert quick release spindle into front hub and
adjust in readiness to insert into fork.
Insert into fork and tighten – this must be tight, but
do not overtighten. An experienced bicycle
mechanic is your best friend here.
Attach front mudguard to fork bridge using bolt
supplied. This bolt also holds the front headlight.
Be sure to leave adequate tyre – mudguard
clearance. This requires a 5 mm allen key.
Attach the remaining two screws that hold the
mudguard and ensure they are tight. These are
attached with a 4 mm allen key.
Attach both LEFT and RIGHT pedals using a 15
mm open end / Pedal spanner. NOTE these are
threaded differently and labelled on the end of the
thread as L or R.
Locate the keys which will be hanging from the
cables on the front of the bike.
The battery can be removed by inserting the key
into the lock and twisting clockwise. The battery will
then pop out. Simply pop back in and push to re-
insert battery. It will lock automatically.
The battery can be re-charged whilst in the bike by
exposing the charging port under the flap just at
the top of the battery casing. The battery charger
will show RED whilst charging and GREEN when
charged.
Pump up the tyres between 40 – 65 PSI (280 – 460
kPa). 60 PSI (413 kPa) is perfect!
To turn the bike ON or OFF, hold the power button
on the indicator panel for two (2) seconds. When
the bike is powered ON, the battery status gauge
will light up.
Adjust the PAS setting with the up (+) and down
(-) buttons to the desired setting. The headlight
and tailight can be turned ON or OFF by holding
down the up (+) button for three (3) seconds.
Your voyager will now look like this and is ready to ride.
For optimum performance and durability of your Voyager we strongly suggest you have your new Voyager
assembled, thoroughly checked and adjusted by an experienced qualified Bicycle Technician.
