Safety for children and incompetent persons
• People (including children) who, because of their physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or their inexperience of ignorance are not able to use the appliance safely, should not
use this appliance without supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
• Switch on the child lock when there are children. The child lock makes sure that children
do not accidentally switch on the appliance.

Installation safety measures
• Let a registered electrician do the installation of the appliance. If you do not contact a
registered electrician, the guarantee becomes invalid if there is damage.
• For safety on installation, refer to "Installation"

• Let a registered electrician do the electrical connection of the appliance.

Risk of fire
• Open the door carefully. The use of ingredients with alcohol can cause a mixture of
alcohol and air. There is risk of fire.
• Do not let sparks or open flames come near the appliance when you open the door. There
is risk of fire.
• Do not keep flammable materials in the appliance. There is risk of fire.
Operation safety measures
Discoloration of the oven enamel does not effect the performance of the appliance. The
guarantee does not become invalid.
• Only use the appliance to cook, roast and bake food
• When you connect electrical appliances to mains sockets, do not let cables touch or come
near the hot oven door.
• The inner side of the appliance becomes hot during use. There is risk of burns.
• Do not cover the appliance with aluminium foil to prevent damage to the oven enamel.
• Do not put baking trays, pots, etc. on the oven floor to prevent damage to the oven
enamel.
• Never put hot water directly into the appliance to prevent damage to or discoloration
of the oven enamel.
• User a deep baking tray for very moist cakes. If not, fruit juices can cause stains that can
be permanent.
• Do not apply pressure on an open appliance door.
• Be careful when you remove or install the glass panels.
• Do not keep moist food in the appliance to prevent damage to the oven enamel.
• After you switch off the cooling fan, do not keep uncovered food in the appliance.
Moisture can condense in the appliance or on the glass doors.
Care and cleaning
• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and make sure that the appliance is cool.
• Do not clean the appliance with a steam cleaner or a high-pressure cleaner.
• Do not clean the glass oven door with abrasive fluids or metal scrapers, which could
cause scratches on the surface. The glass could break and shatter

Power indicator

•Flat baking tray
For cakes and biscuits.
•Deep roasting pan
To bake and roast or as pan to collect fat.
•Rack
For cookware, cake tins, roasts and grilled foods.
•Rack frame
To put flat baking tray or deep roasting pan on it.
Oven steam outlet
The steam from the oven gets out through the outlet in the back left corner of the cooking
surface (see the Description of the appliance in hob user manual).
Before first use
Initial Cleaning
• Remove all parts from the appliance.
• Clean the appliance before first use.
CAUTION!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents! This can damage the surface. Refer to chapter "Care
and Cleaning".
Setting the time
The oven only operates after time set.
1. Push the Selection button (refer to section
"Clock function") again and again until the
function indicator Time of day flashes.
2. Use the + / - knob to set the time.
After approx. 5 seconds, the flashing stops
and the display shows the time of day set.
The appliance is now ready to use.
For time change you must not set a clock
function ( Minute Minder, Duration or End) or
an oven function at the same time. Make sure
that the child safety device is not set.
Daily use
To use the oven, push the retractable knob. The knob then comes out.

Switch the oven on
Turn the oven functions selector to a oven function. The power indicator comes on. The
temperature display shows the suggested temperature for the oven function set. The oven
starts to heat up. When the temperature is reached, an acoustic signal sounds.
Changing the oven temperature
Turn the + / - knob to raise or lower temperature. The setting changes in 5°C steps.
Controlling the temperature
Push Rapid heat up and Selection buttons at the same time. The temperature display shows
the current oven temperature.
Switching the oven off
Turn the oven functions selector to the OFF posi-
tion.
Cooling fan
When the appliance operates, the cooling fan switches on automatically to keep the sur-
faces of the appliance cool. If you switch off the appliance, the cooling fan continues to
operate until the appliance cools down.
Heat- up indicator
If you switch on an oven function, the bars on the display come on one by one. The bars
show that the oven temperature increases.
Rapid heat up
With the additional function Rapid heat up you decrease the pre-heating time.
Do not put the food into the oven, until Rapid heat up is completed and the oven operates
in the desired function.
1. Set an oven function.
2. Push the Rapid heat up button. The bars next to the symbol come up.
When the bars flash one by one, it shows that Rapid heat up operates.
When Rapid heat up is completed:
– the bars of the heat indicator come up,
– the bars next to the symbol go out,
– an acoustic signal sounds.

The oven now continues to heat according to the pre-set oven function and temper-
ature. Now you can put the food in the oven.
You can switch on the Rapid heat up function with the oven functions: True fan , Fan
baking , Conventional and Rotitherm .
Cooking zones
With the control knobs for cooking zones you operate the hob that you installed with the
oven. For more information about the hob, refer to the hob user manual.
Heat settings
Cooking zone indicators (refer to "General overview ") show which zone you set.
Control knob Function
Keep warm setting
1-9 Heat settings
(1 = lowest heat setting; 9 = highest heat setting)
1. Turn the control knob to a necessary heat setting.
2. To complete the cooking process, turn the control knob to the “0” position.
Automatic heat-up function
This information is applicable only if you install the hob with Automatic heat up function!
The automatic heat-up function heats the cooking zone with full power for some time.
1. To switch on the function, turn the control knob clockwise as far as possible (pass the
highest heat setting).
2. To continue the cooking process, turn the control knob to the necessary heat setting.
3. To complete the cooking process, turn the control knob to the “0” position.
Oven Functions
The oven has these functions:
Oven function Application
TRUE FAN To bake on maximum three oven levels at
the same time. Decrease the oven temper-
atures (20-40°C) compared with Conven-
tional.
FAN BAKING To bake on one oven level food with a more
intensive browning and a crispy base.
Decrease the oven temperatures (20-40°C)
compared with Conventional.
CONVENTIONAL To bake and roast on one oven level.
ROTITHERM To roast larger joints of meat or poultry on
one level. Also to gratinate and brown.

Oven function Application
DUAL GRILL To grill flat food in large quantities and to
toast.
SINGLE GRILL To grill flat food in the middle of the grill an
to toast.
DEFROST To defrost frozen food.
BASE HEAT To bake cakes with crispy or crusty bases and
to preserve food.
PYROLUXE MENU For automatic pyrolytic cleaning of the
oven. It burns off residual dirt in the oven.
The oven heats up to approximately 500°C.
Inserting the oven accessories
On the inner side of the oven carriage door there are five levels (count from the bottom to
the top) to insert accessories.
Inserting the rack: Move the rack (1) into the
necessary oven level. Push the rack down (2) until
it makes a click into position.
Inserting the flat baking tray or deep roasting
pan into the rack frame: Put the flat baking tray
or deep roasting pan on the rack frame.
Only use the rack frame to install the flat baking
tray or deep roasting pan.
Inserting the rack and deep roasting pan to-
gether: To use the rack and the deep roasting pan
together, first insert the deep roasting pan on the
rack frame and then put the rack on the subse-
quent level up.
Grilling set
The grilling set includes the oven shelf and the deep roasting pan. You can use the oven
shelf on the two sides.

WARNING!
Risk of burns when removing the accessories from a hot oven.
You can use the grilling set to roast larger pieces of meat or poultry on one level:
• Put the oven shelf inside the deep roasting
pan so that the supports of the oven shelf
point upwards.
• Put the deep roasting pan in the oven car-
riage door at the necessary level.
You can use the grilling set to grill flat dishes in large quantities and to toast:
• Put the oven shelf inside the deep roasting
pan so that the supports of the oven shelf
point downwards.
• Put the deep roasting pan in the oven car-
riage door at the necessary level.
Inserting/Removing the Fat Filter
Only use the fat filter when roasting to protect
the rear heating elements from fat splashes.

Inserting the fat filter
Hold the fat filter by the tab and insert the two mounts downwards into the opening on
the rear wall of the oven (fan opening).
Removing the fat filter
Hold the fat filter by the tab, unhook it and lift out.

Setting the clock functions
1. Push the Selection button again and again until the desired function indicator flashes.
2. To set the time for Minute Minder , Duration or End , use the + / - knob.
The related function indicator comes on.
When the time period is completed, the related function indicator flashes, the display
shows 0.00 and an acoustic signal sounds.
3. To stop the signal and the flashing:
- with Minute Minder push a button
- with Duration and End turn the oven functions selector to the position Off.
With Minute Minder an acoustic signal also sounds when 90% of the time period is com-
pleted.
With the functions Duration and End the oven switches off automatically.

Clock function Application
Time of day Shows the time. To set, change or check the time.
Minute mind-
er
To set a countdown time. A signal sounds, after the time period is com-
pleted. This function has no effect on the operation of the oven.
Duration To set how long the oven has to be in operation.
End To set the switch-off time for an oven function.
Duration and End can be used at the same time, if the oven is to be switched on
and off automatically later. First set Duration , then End .
Other functions
Switch on lock
When the switch on lock is switched on, you cannot operate the oven.
It makes sure that children do not accidentally switch on the appliance.
Do not set an oven function.
Switching on the switch on lock:
1. Turn + / - control knob to the left and hold it.
2. Push Selection button until the display shows "SAFE".
The switch on lock device is switched on.
To switch off the switch on lock device repeat the same procedure as for switching on the
switch on lock.
Oven automatic cut-out
The appliance switches off after some time:
• if you do not switch off the appliance.
• if you do not change the oven temperature.
Oven temperature Switch-off time

200 - 250 °C 5.5 h.
250 - max. °C 3.0 h.
After an automatic cut-out, switch off the oven fully. Then you can switch it on again.
If you set clock function Duration or End, the automatic cut-out will not operate.

• information about the oven functions, recommended shelf levels and temperatures for
typical dishes.
The temperature and baking times in the tables are guidelines only. They depend on the
recipes, quality and quantity of the ingredients used.
Baking
General instructions
• Your new oven may bake or roast differently to the appliance you had before. Adapt
your usual settings (temperature, cooking times) and shelf levels to the values in the
tables.
• With longer baking times, the oven can be switched off about 10 minutes before the
end of baking time, to use the residual heat.
When you use frozen food, the trays in the oven can twist during baking. When the
trays get cold again, the distortion will be gone.
How to use the Baking Tables
• We recommend to use the lower temperature the first time.
12 Helpful hints and tips

• If you cannot find the settings for a special recipe, look for the one that is almost the
same.
• Baking time can be extended by 10-15 minutes, if you bake cakes on more than one
level.
• Cakes and pastries at different heights do not always brown equally at first. If this occurs,
do not change the temperature setting. The differences equalize during the baking pro-
cedure.

Set in the fat filter when you roast!
Roasting dishes
• Use heat-resistant ovenware to roast (please read the instructions of the manufacturer).
• Large roasting joints can be roasted directly in the deep roasting pan or on the oven
shelf above the deep roasting pan. (If present)
• Roast lean meats in a roasting tin with a lid. This well keep the meat more succulent.
• All types of meat, that can be browned or have crackling, can be roasted in the roasting
tin without the lid.

Tips on using the roasting table.
• Roast meat and fish that weighs more than 1 kg .
• Put some water in the roasting tray to prevent meat juices or fat from burning to the
pan.
• Turn the meat if it is necessary (after 1/2 - 2/3 of the cooking time).
• For better results, baste large pieces of meat and poultry with the cooking juices several
times during the cooking time.
• Stop the oven approximately 10 minutes before the end of roasting time to use the
residual heat.

Grilling
Always use the grilling function with maximum temperature setting
Always grill with the oven door closed
Always pre-heat the empty oven with the grill functions for 5 minutes.
• Set the shelf in the shelf level as recommended in the grilling table.
• Always set the pan to collect the fat into the first shelf level.
• Grill only flat pieces of meat or fish.

Preserving
• Only use usual preserving jars of the same dimension.
• Do not use jars with twist-off or bayonet type lids and metal tins.
• Use the first shelf level from the bottom.
• Use the baking tray. You can put six 1-litre jars maximum on it.
• Fill all the jars to the same level and close them correctly.
• Put the jars on the shelf, make sure that they do not touch each other.
• Fill approximately 1/2 litre of water into the flat baking tray to have sufficient moisture
in the oven.
• When the liquid lightly starts to bubble in the first jars (after about 35-60 minutes with
1 litre jars), switch off the oven or decrease the temperature to 100°C ( see table).
