Rust:oxalicaciddissolvedinhotwaterora
rustremovingproductusedcold.Becareful
withruststainswhicharenotrecentsincethe
cellulosestructurewillhavealreadyhavebeen
damagedandthefabrictendstohole.
Mouldstains:treatwithcoloursafebleach,
rinsewell(whitesandfastcolouredsonly).
Grass:soaplightlyandtreatwithbleach
(whitesandfastcoloureds
on~y). .
Ballpointpenandglue:moistenwith
acetone(*),laythegarmentonasoftclothand
dabthestain.
Lipstick:moistenwithacetoneasabove,then
treatstainswithmethylatedspirits.Remove
anyresidual marksfromwhitefabricswith
bleach.
Redwine:soakinwater anddetergent,rinse
andtreatwithaceticorcitricacid,thenrinse.
Treatanyresidualmarkswithbleach.
Ink:dependingonthetypeof ink, moistenthe
fabricfirstwithacetone(*),thenwithacetic
acid;treatanyresidualmarksonwhitefabrics
withbleachandthenrinsethoroughly.
Tarstains:firsttreatwithstainremover,
methylatedspiritsorbenzine,thenrubwith
detergentpaste.

Detergentsandadditives
Goodwashingresultsalsodependonthe
choiceof detergentanduseofthecorrect
quantitiestoavoidwasteandprotectthe
environment.Althoughbiodegradable,
detergentscontainsubstanceswhich, inlarge
quantities,canupsetthedelicatebalanceof
nature.
Thechoiceof detergentwilldependonthe

Allcommonlyavailablewashingmachine
detergentsmaybeusedinthisappliance:
• powderdetergentsfor alltypesof fabric,
• powderdetergentsfordelicatefabrics(60°C
max)andwoollens,
• liquiddetergents,preferablyfor low
temperaturewashprogrammes(60°Cmax)
for alltypesof fabric,orspecialforwoollens
only.
Thedetergentandanyadditivesmustbe
placedintheappropriatecompartmentsofthe
dispenserdrawerbeforestartingthewash
programme. . .
If usingconcentratedpowderor hqu1d
detergents,aprogrammewithoutprewash
mustbeselected.
Thewashingmachineincorporatesa
recirculationsystemwhichallowsanoptimal
useof theconcentrateddetergent.
