GENERAL
INFORMATION
PET™ (Personal Electron Therapy) technology
is
founded on sound and resonant frequency principles.
This new form
of
therapy helps improve and maintain general well being. Treatment
is
applied through the
application
of
prescribed menus
of
low strength electrical impulses (acoustic frequency range) to a user via
conductive rubber pads. Different menus can
be
chosen for specific treatments which include:
• Temporary relief
of
arthritic and rheumatic pain
• Relief of nervous tension, stress
and
mild anxiety;
promotion
of stamina and general endurance
• Assistance in the treatment
of
colds
and
flus by reducing the severity and duration
of
symptoms
NOTE:
PET™
is
unrelated to TENS (Trancutaneous Electronic Nerve Stimulation).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
•
DO
NOT
USE
PET™ DEVICES
ON
PATIENTS
WITH
DEMAND
TYPE CARDIAC PACEMAKERS.
•
DO
NOT
USE
PET™ TRANSCEREBRALLY.

ADVERSE
REACTIONS
• Cleansing reactions such as mild headache
and
nausea are common during the initial
one to two weeks
of
therapy.
If
any such symptoms occur;
Increase fluid consumption
(a
minimum eight cups
of
water per day).
Discontinue treatment until all side effects subside.
• Susceptible individuals may experience mild skin irritation
at
the site
of
application
of
the conductive pads following extended therapy.
• Improper use
of
PET™ conductive pads may result in skin irritation.
