PARTS IDENTIFICATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Clean the griddle surface with a damp cloth to wipe off dust or any unwanted
residue.
• NEVER soak the unit in water and NEVER use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
on the non-stick surface as they might damage the coating.
• Apply a light coat of cooking oil to the non-stick surface of the griddle.
• Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet and set the temperature to 445°F for

burning off the protective coating that is applied during
manufacturing. It is normal and harmless.
• After the allotted time, turn the thermostat to “OFF” position then unplug the
cord.
• Detach the cord from the griddle and let the unit cool down.
PFOA-FREE NONSTICK COATING
The cooking surface is coated with a PFOA-Free nonstick nish. This minimizes the
need for oil, prevents food from sticking, and makes cleaning easier.
Do not use metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning tools on nonstick surfaces
as they will damage the coating. Use only warm soapy water and remove stubborn
residue with a non-abrasive plastic scouring pad or nylon brush.
NOTE: Do not use nonstick cooking spray as they can impact the performance of
