maintenance and repairs. Read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance in order to ensure operation-
al safety.
–In the event of doubts concerning the conditions and/or working of the appliance or its parts, the local distrib-
utor should be contacted for further information.
–Only use original spare parts or ones approved by the manufacturer in order to avoid damage to the product.
–In the event of damage to the packaging of the goods, inform the courier and the product supplier of the prob-
lem immediately.
–Carry out the operating tests on the appliance and inform the supplier of the product of any anomalies or run-
ning defects found.

–Do not carry out modifications to the product without the written authorisation of the manufacturer.
–Do not open the door of the boiler when it is in use.
–Do not store inflammable materials close to the burner, to minimise the risk of fire.
–Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather.
–Do not install the appliance onto heat generators (boilers, water heaters) situated in places which are poorly
ventilated or are very damp. The vents in the building must be sufficiently large to guarantee complete com-
bustion.
–Do not touch the appliance with parts of the body which are wet, or damp and/or with bare feet.
–The appliance must not be used by children or by people who are inexperienced.

FOR B-MAX 100, 200, 300 PELLET BOILERS
Dear Customer,
B-Max boilers are fueled with wood pellets. This device is outstandingly e-
cient. It requires minimum maintenance and serves you for a long time. You
can integrate this boiler into any central heating system.
To appropriately install and operate this boiler, please carefully read and ob-
serve this operating instruction. This operating instruction informs you about
the appropriate commissioning, operation and maintenance of the boiler.
PURPOSE OF THIS OPERATING INSTRUCTION
The purpose of this operating instruction is that the user takes all the mea-
sures necessary for economical and safe operation and sets up both the de-
vice and the materials used in such a way that the safe, economical and per-
fect operation of the device is ensured.
This operating instruction complies with the requirements of the regulations
applicable at the time when the device was released. Please adhere to the in-
formation provided in this operating instruction, because those are required
for the appropriate commissioning, operation and maintenance of the boiler.
Please keep this operating instruction because you might need it in the fu-

GENERAL INFORMATION
The boilers can burn pellets in automatic mode. Thanks to its special con-
struction, it operates with an outstanding combustion eciency. They can be
used for heating workshops, outbuildings, agricultural halls, public buildings,
greenhouses. The solid-fuel boiler line includes devices of dierent perfor-
mance, oering the right heating unit for every heating need.

let-burner.

BEFORE INSTALLING THE BOILER
The boiler must be installed in a boiler house according to the technical re-
quirements and the applicable regulations.
To properly place the boiler, ensure a horizontal surface with the right load
bearing capacity, observe the minimum distances indicated on the gure be-
low (see Figure 2), and ensure the air supply required for continuous burning.
• It is forbidden to install the boiler in any living space (building of
a designated boiler house is
mandatory), because the boiler
would take the oxygen for burn-
ing from the living space, which
might cause an accident if the air
supply is insucient
• The boiler may be installed, com-
missioned by a specialist only
• The boiler must be installed in
compliance with the currently
applicable standards and
requirements.
• To provide the appropriate draught
and ensure safe operation, check
the chimney before installation.
• (A minimum of two chimney
inspections during each heating
season is key to safe boiler opera-
tion.)
• Flushing of the old and new heating system, removal of any contamina-
tion might be necessary before boiler installation.
• Any additive (antifreeze) to be added to the heating water must be certi-
ed with the respective manufacturer's declaration of conformity.
• After installation, the mechanic must perform the leakage test of both the
water circuit and the venting of the exhaust product.
Proper and regular boiler cleaning and maintenance is important Inappro-
priate cleaning might lead to accidents and considerably reduces the boiler's
life and eciency.
Always use the supplementary products suitable for your boiler's type, such
as the ue exhaust piles, cleaning tools, adjustable pump etc.
The boiler may be transformed with the written approval of the manufacturer
only.

TRANSPORTATION OF THE BOILER
The boiler is packed in bubble lm and a cardboard box. Always transport,
load and unload the boiler carefully, ensure the safety of the product and the
people and objects near it. Use a forklift of appropriate capacity for loading
and unloading the boiler (the gross weight of the boiler is included in the
technical specications). During lifting, ensure stability by paying attention to
the center of gravity located in the upper part of the boiler. Before removing
the packaging material, check the integrity of the boiler package. Notify your
dealer in case of any issues Collect the packaging material (cardboard, poly-
styrene, etc.) and dispose of it selectively, according to the applicable regula-
tions. After removing the packaging material, install the boiler in the boiler
house built according to the rules in the operating instruction.
FLUE EXHAUST
The chimney and chimney-connection must be built according to the appli-
cable regulations and standards.
According to the applicable technical standards, the chimney must have suf-
cient draught.
Unt or incorrectly sized chimneys or ue channels can have a negative af-
fect on general combustion parameters and might cause condensation, ue
backow, reduced eciency and higher
emission. It is dangerous
The right chimney draught value is in the operating instruction of the pel-
let boiler. If, with a burner operating at maximum power, chimney draught is
higher than the value mentioned above, then always use a secondary air ap.
The boiler must be connected with a heating pipe of the right size (max. 3
metres long from the boiler to the chimney connection and less then 2 mm
wall thickness) to a chimney of the right size. The useful height of the chim-
ney must be calculated from the ue pipe connection.
It is forbidden to connect the boiler to a ue pipe or chimney with a diameter
smaller than that of the ue outlet

The designer and/or the installer (constructor) will choose the right size boil-
er, the heating system and the type of the heating system, according to the
needs of the user and the air space to be heated.
For the operation of the heating system, it is recommended to mount a mix-
ing valve corresponding to the boiler's power and set to min. 45 °C into the
pipeline returning to the boiler. This allows for increasing the temperature of
the water returning to the boiler and avoiding harmful condensation.
After connecting the boiler to the system, both the heating system and the
boiler must be lled up with heating water or antifreeze. Before that, water
hardness and sediment must be checked and a water demineralizer must be
mounted onto the incoming water pipeline, if necessary (e.g. if the sediment
is more than 300 mg/l at 80°C). This protects the water chamber and the heat-
ing system.
If you use an antifreeze, protect the boiler and the system by only using the
product made for lling up the system.

COMMISSIONING
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INSTALLING THE BOILER
The boiler house must be free of frost
Continuous ventilation of the boiler room must be ensured (this is the air nec-
essary for combustion). Covering up the vents is forbidden and life-threaten-
ing The boiler must have a solid, non-ammable base.
The installer is responsible for the checking of the chimney, the ue pipe
connecting to it and the air fans, and every step necessary for commissioning
the boiler. Furthermore, the installer is obliged to comply with the applica-
ble local safety requirements. The UNI 10683 Directive species installer
obligations. The boilers must in any case be tted with non-electronic
(e.g. thermal) overheating protection sized for maximum boiler power
and in consideration of the maximum operating temperature.
The automatic supplying of the cooling water necessary against over-
heating must be ensured.
The boilers must in any case be tted with non-electronic overpressure
protection sized for maximum boiler power and in consideration of the
maximum operating pressure.
The installer must check the following:
• The heating system to be commissioned and its proper functioning
• adequacy of the boiler room, especially the application of the minimum
distances prescribed by the manufacturer,
• manufacturer's requirements regarding the ue exhaust system of the
boiler (sizing, tting of ue ducts and chimney pipes),
• the inside of the chimney (its material, homogeneity, unobstructedness)
and whether it complies with the applicable local regulations
• whether an external air supply can be installed, and the size of the already
existing ones,
• whether the boiler and the existing devices can be operated simultane-
ously.
If the check is positive, then there is nothing against the commissioning of the
boiler if the manufacturer's requirements and the local safety and re-protec-
tion requirements are strictly adhered to. During commissioning, the heating
system must be tested for minimum 60 minutes in order to check the general
operating condition of the boiler.

The installer must hand over the following to the client after commis-
sioning and the rst turning on the boiler:
• The operating and maintenance instruction of the boiler.
• The necessary documentation prescribed by the applicable regulations.
• A signed copy of the commissioning protocol, on which it states that
it has informed the user of the conditions and method of continuous
operation.
The installer must inform the client of the following after the rst turn-
ing on the boiler:
• The conditions and method of lighting the boiler
• The maintenance steps
• Warranty conditions
Before the assembly work, the mechanic, installer must adhere to the safety
instructions specied by the law, with special regard to the followings:
• compliance of the boiler with local, national
• must check if any special authorisation is required due to municipal, archi-
tectural or re-protection regulations
• must strictly adhere to this operating instruction
• must wear the protective gear specied in the applicable regulations for
his/her work
Before lighting, make sure whether:
• the boiler is lled-up
• there is an at least 1.2 bar pressure in the cold state (if there is a closed
expansion vessel),
• the expansion vessel is lled if it is open
• closing ttings are in their open position,
• The settings of the boiler pump controller, which is set to minimum 55-
60°C (this can extend boiler life and increase its eciency).
A pump control equipment can extend pump and boiler life, reduce the
risk of damage and electricity costs.

CONNECTING THE PELLET BURNER TO THE BOILER
The pellet burner is a separate unit and is not a part of the boiler, all technical

TURNING ON
Before turning on the boiler, the installer must check the following:
• whether the electrical connections meet the requirements of the pellet
burner's operating instruction.
• whether the ue exhaust is tted with heat-proof sealing.
• whether the air inlet and the connected pipes ensure an unobstructed
ow.
• whether the pellet burner is properly connected to the boiler.
• whether the heat sensor of the pellet burner is properly connected to the
boiler.
• whether all doors of the boiler are closed so that the burning takes place
in the combustion chamber only.
• the connection and functioning of the safety valve.
• the functioning of the overheating protection and the supply of the nec-
essary cooling water.
• whether no other fuel gets into the pellet tank, but the pellet only.
He/she should inform every use about the relative risks and hazards and
show them how to use the boiler.
ATTENTION: The above checks must be performed at every maintenance of
the user or maintainer.
FIRST TURNING ON
Upon the rst turning on of the boiler, a portion of the oil or fat lm found on
the inner surface of the combustion chamber evaporates, generating some
smoke. Ensure proper ventilation in the boiler room so that the smoke can
get out.
For turning on, follow the following steps:
1. Check if the boiler is connected to the heating system.
2. Connect the pellet burner to the electric mains.
3. Turn on the pellet burner
The electrical control system of the pellet burner now lights the fuel and
keeps it under continuous control.

WHEN OPERATING THE BOILER, PLEASE ACT WITH UTMOST CARE,
WITH SPECIAL REGARD TO THE FOLLOWING CASES:
• Do not come near and touch the ue exhaust pipes: BURN HAZARD
• Do not clean the boiler while it is operating. ACCIDENT HAZARD
• Each time, before you turn on the boiler, check the electrical connections

• Do not open the boiler door when the pellet burner is turned on.

• During operation, the external boiler surfaces might get hot
TO PROPERLY USE THE PELLET BUNER, APPLY THE FOLLOWING MEA-
SURES:
• Ensure its regular maintenance with the boiler turned o.
• If you identify and operational defects, do not use the device until proper
• troubleshooting.
• Pouring water into the device is forbidden and implies an explosion haz-
ard, even in case of a re.
• When turning o the pellet burner, wait until the shutdown process
ends and disconnect it from the electrical network only afterwards
• Do not use the boiler as a kiln
• Before any work, please check whether the combustion chamber and the
ash have cooled down and you have disconnected the device from the
electrical network.
• Although the handles of the boiler doors are tted with thermo-resistant
coating, it is recommended to wear protective gloves.
• Use parts and spare parts recommended by the manufacturer only.
• Do not open the boiler door during the operation of the pellet burner.
• If you detect any condensation, search for the root cause. Check whether
the device has been installed and operated properly.
• Remove the combustion product from the ash container.

MAINTENANCE, CLEANING
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE BEFORE THE HEATING SEASON
• At the beginning of each heating season, get a specialist to remove the soot
from your chimney
• Thoroughly clean the boiler following the steps below.
• Move the heat sensor valve disc of the cooling cycle.
• Check the eciency of the heating system and the functioning of the safety
valves.
WEEKLY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To perform any cleaning, maintenance, let the boiler rst cool down and discon-
nect it from the electrical network
CLEANING STEPS:
1. To make cleaning easier, a steel ue exhaust pipe with a 90-degree cleaning
opening should be used to connect the boiler to the chimney. Always pro-
ceed from the top down when cleaning the boiler.
2. You can clean the ue exhaust duct after removing the cleaning lid of the
90-degree steel ue pipe. Soot accumulating in the ue pipe can cause
smoking of the device.
3. After that, replace the cover plate of the cleaning hole onto the 90-degree
steel ue exhaust pipe and close it down.
4. You can easily remove the combustion product deposited on the heat ex-
changers with the right-size tool through the upper cleaning hole. The de-
posited ash can reduce boiler eciency.
5. The insulation material in the doors must be checked regularly. Replace any
damaged insulation.
6. Then clean the inside of the rebox and the inner sides of the boiler with the
proper cleaning tool trough the fuel inlet.
7. Always remove the contamination from the combustion chamber and the
ash container carefully before every lighting. Do not store the collected con-
tamination in the same room with the boiler
8. From time to time, check the quantity and pressure of the water in the heat-
ing system.
9. The above cleaning, maintenance steps can considerably extend the boiler's
life an increase its eciency.

You can use a vacuum cleaner tted with a lter to remove the ash. Use:
• Turn o the boiler and pull out the network plug.
• Check if the device has cooled down.
• Open the boiler door and start to remove the ash from the heat exchang-
ers, the ash container and the grid of the pellet burner.
EXTRAORDINARY ANNUAL MAINTENANCE
Extraordinary maintenance means the checks, cleaning and maintenance
performed at least once every year.
Het a professional to perform such operations on both the boiler and the
pellet burner.
Before maintenance, always disconnect the device from the electrical net-
work
Check the following:
• Boiler sealings (replace them if damaged).
• Door sealings (replace them if damaged).
• Condition of electrical cables and their connection to the burner.
• Proper functioning of the safety valve.
• The quality of burning and not it down.
• The tightness and penetrability of the connection between the ue
exhaust pipe and the chimney.
