NATURAL GAS OR PROPANE?
Ranges are built to accommodate natural gas unless propane (LP) as been specified on your order. Conversion parts are available and are easy to install. (See product manual for instructions.)
IMPORTANT
Fitting Range into Cabinet Opening: Four Burner Models: If you are designing
cabinets to fit range, leave 33" between base cabinets. Countertop over-
angs on eac side s ould be 1-3/8". Ranges will fit openings as small as
30-1/4". S ort leg models require 31" minimum clearance between counter-
tops. Six Burner Models: Require 45-1/2" opening between base cabinets.
Left countertop over ang s ould be 1-3/8". No over ang required on rig t
side. Countertops s ould be standard 36" ig .

STANDARD EXHAUST FAN
T e standard 350 c.f.m. ex aust fan, included in t e upper cabinet of your range, is factory-set to recirculate air t roug a c arcoal
filter. It can also be used to outside-vent ex aust if t ere is not more t an one 90 degree elbow or more t an ten feet between t e
range and t e outside wall. T is fan ex austs air only from t e back of t e range cabinet – it cannot be adapted for top-venting.
EXHAUST OUTLET LOCATION
Heig t from floor to center of duct opening is 62 5/8". From left base cabinet countertop over ang to center of duct opening is
14". If installing a four burner range into a 30 1/4" opening, dimension s ould be 8 5/8". Heig t from floor to center of duct
opening is 60 5/8" for s ort leg models.
#1518 OPTIONAL IN-LINE EXHAUST BLOWER
T e optional in-line ex aust blower replaces t e standard 350 c.f.m. ex aust fan provided in your range cabinet, and is to be in-
stalled by your contractor w ere your ex aust ducting exits t e ouse. T e inline blower s ould be ordered w en you purc ase
your range - t e range and wiring must be modified to accommodate t e blower. (T e blower can be s ipped in advance of t e
range for installation – additional s ipping c arges will apply.)
If you are outside-venting your range wit more t an 10 feet of ducting, or more t an one elbow… or if you simply prefer a more
powerful ex aust system … you s ould include t e optional 636 c.f.m. in-line ex aust blower. T e #1518 In-Line Blower ex austs
smoke and cooking odors quickly and quietly, exiting t e ouse up to 35 feet from t e range. If desired, t e blower can be mounted
in t e basement or attic for powerful, w isper-quiet operation.
• T e blower can be mounted vertically, orizontally or at any angle.
• Backward-curved airfoil blades move maximum air wit minimal sound.
• Fan and motor are precision balanced for quiet vibration-free operation.

IN-LINE EXHAUST BLOWER KIT CONTAINS:

WARRANTY
One-year warranty, covering parts and labor. Additional four-year warranty (five years total) parts only on range / wall oven
burners and elements, fridge sealed refrigeration unit and compressor, and microwave magnetron tube.
NOTE
T e January 98 electrical standard requires t at a four wire range cord be used in all new construction. Please advise if a t ree wire
range cord is required (used only in existing construction). T e electrical receptacle and gas piping s ould be installed approxi-
mately 4” above t e floor and 15” to t e rig t of t e left edge of t e cabinet opening (as you are facing t e opening).
All 220V ranges come wit standard four wire range cords attac ed.

Attic In-Line Ex aust Blower Installation
T e in-line blower and ducting can be mounted to or between (allowing for
14" blower diameter) structural joists. Alternate installation: T e ex aust
duct can extend straig t up t roug t e roof (similar to Installation #3). T is
met od will require a roof flas ing and cap, not included.
Basement In-Line Ex aust Blower Installation
T e ex aust duct runs down t e wall be ind t e range into t e basement,
w ere it exits t roug t e foundation wall. T e in-line blower and ducting
can be mounted to or between (allowing for 14" blower diameter) structural
joists.
Roof In-Line Ex aust Blower Installation

Log omes and omes wit a cat edral ceiling often require a top-ducted
ex aust. Advise your dealer if you are using t is application – a 7" round
ole must be made in t e top center of your range cabinet. We ig ly recom-
mend locating your range in t e kitc en prior to cutting t e ole in t e roof.
(Ducting can also be routed t roug kitc en cabinets above t e range, if de-
sired.) 7" duct pipe, 7" to 8" increaser, roof cap and roof flas ing are not in-
cluded.
