SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Only qualified adult is allowed to operate the appliance. Never let children play with it.
• When the appliance is switched on, don’t leave it running alone, and don’t make it slantwise.
• Don’t point steam to human being or any animals. Never touch the steam.
• Don’t attempt to use the appliance beyond the recommended range of application in this
manual. Usually do trial test before cleaning any object which material is sensitive to
temperature or humidity.
• Don’t directly spray steam towards equipment containing electrical components, such as
the interior of ovens.
• Inspect the steam cleaner before start: Inspect steam cleaner’s input and output cable
connection and plug. Check if the input power supply is in compliance with the
requirement. If steam cleaner’s cable or steam hose is damaged, contact ELVIRA service
center for repairing, changing the qualified spare part.
• Turn off the steam cleaner’s power switch before unplug or plug the power.
• Don’t damage power supply. When finishing using the steam cleaner, hold the plug to
unplug smoothly and straightly. Don’t pull cable.
• The appliance has to be unplugged after use, before maintenance or filling water.
• Don’t use wet hand to touch plug or cable or operate the appliance.
• Don’t attempt to use for cleaning switch, power socket or other current carrying appliance.
• Don’t hardly pull, roll or press steam tube. A severe vibration will damage the appliance.
• Only fill 750 ml clean drinking water into water tank, never attempt to fill in any detergent
or other liquid.
• Close safety valve tightly before power on.
• Water inlet must not be opened during use.
WARNING: Never jet steam against person or any animal.
Never attempt to touch steam. Be cautious of hot steam at all time.
1. After Usage:
• Turn on the children security lock during not in use.
• To prevent steam cleaner from an accidental operation, always turn off the switch and
unplug from power supply.
• Don’t place the steam cleaner nearby any heat source such as, fire, radiator, heater,
air blower, etc.
• Never attempt to cover the hot steam cleaner immediately after use. Leave it for cool
down in air-flow area.

2. Maintenance and Service:
If any of following problems is found, please take the steam cleaner to ELVIRA service center.
Reparation must be done by ELVIRA service center, in order to avoid a hazard.
• If the appliance or any part of the appliance is damaged.
• If some trouble is found.
• If steam or water is leaking from the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged
Special cautions:
• Always unplug the plug before maintenance or service.
• Only ELVIRA service center and trained technician is allowed to maintain the appliance.
• Only specified spare parts are allowed to use.
• Never attempt to make technical amendment of the appliance such as electric system,
any spare parts or technical parameters, etc.
• Check the steam cleaner input power supply before usage; confirm electric parameter of
input power supply.
• Warranty will be terminated if the appliance is modified or repaired by other person,
not ELVIRA service agents.

OPERATION:
• Always operate the appliance in accordance with this operation instruction.
• Never attempt to use steam for cleaning switch, socket or other current carrying
appliance, chemical fiber, silk fabric, low temperature plastic product or other low
temperature products.
• To prevent window from cracking in cold weather, keep the jet nozzle 30 cm away from
glass to preheat the window first.
Filling with Water
1 Turn anti-clockwise to open the safety valve (2). The safety valve cannot be opened
when there is steam in the boiler, you must release the entire stream from the boiler in
order to open the safety valve.
2 To release steam from boiler: release children security lock (6) and press steam release
switch (7) to release all the remaining steam in order to open the safety valve.
3 Gradually open the safety valve. Be careful of the emitting hot steam.
4 Only fill clean drinking water. Never attempt to fill in any detergent or other additive.
Use funnel (23) to fill in water with capacity of 750 ml.
5 Turn clockwise to close the safety valve.
Filling Water for Continuous Usage
When the water tank runs dry, the appliance will emit an alert sound. If you would like to fill in
water for continuous usage, you have to release the remaining steam before open the safety
valve. Please follow these steps:
1 Turn off the appliance by pressing power switch (5) and pull out plug (3).
2 Release children security lock (6) and press steam release switch (7) to release all the
remaining steam.
3 Gradually turn the safety valve anti-clockwise to open. Be careful of the emitting
hot steam.

4 Only fill clean drinking water. Never attempt to fill in any detergent or other additive.
Use funnel (24) to fill in water with capacity of 750 ml.
5 Turn clockwise to close the safety valve.
Turning On
1 Check if the input power supply is in compliance with the requirement.
2 Power switch (5) must be turned off when connect plug (3) to power supply. We can test
by pushing power switch on and off. When the position of the switch is out means the
power is off.
3 Connect power supply.
4 Push the power switch (5) to turn on the appliance. Steam pressure indicator (4) will
light up red, indicated that the boiler starts operating.
5 When pressure inside the boiler is ready for work, red light on steam pressure indicator
(4) will turn to green.
Start Operation
1 Assembly steam cleaner. Choose appropriate accessories for connection. Have a trial
test in covert first for cleaning any object which material is sensitive to temperature and
humidity. The cleaned object must endure to high temperature.
Accessories Usage
Cleaning Mop (10) Use with cotton cloth (21) for cleaning ceramic tile, marble
tile, granite tile, any floor that resist to water, wall that can
be washed, wallpaper that resist to water
Straight Nozzle (16) Wheel, window screen, stain on fabric, water pipe, sink,
jewelry (silver, gold, diamond), stainless watch strap
Nylon Brush (17) Ceramic tile, faucet, shower, bath tub, toilet, floor tile, water
screen in bathroom, algae stain
Bronze Brush (18) Rust stains, mildew stains on tile grouts, dregs
Ironing Brush (19) Cover with cotton cloth for ironing brush (22): shade,
leather/fabric car seat, mosquito wire screen, refrigerator
edge, oven grease stain, fabric, leather, synthetic leather
upholstery, velvet, felt, duvet, pillow.
Not cover with cotton cloth: ironing clothes, curtain
Window Wiper Extension (20) Use with ironing brush (19) for cleaning mirror or window
glass
Extension Tube There are 2 extension tubes inside the set, with same
apperance. The length for 1 extension tube is 45 cm. You
can use only 1 tube or both 2 tubes at a time. Connect the
tube tightly by insert latch (14) to latch connector (15) of
another accessory.

2 Wait until steam pressure indicator (4) change to green color, indicating that the
pressure is ready for usage.
3 Release children security lock (6).
4 Press steam release switch (7) to start working.
5 When water runs dry, the appliance will emit an alert sound.
Cleaning
Don’t soak the appliance into water, or wash the appliance. If there is some water stain on the
body, use dry cloth for cleaning.
Turning Off
Turn off the power switch (5), push steam release switch to release steam till no steam comes
out, then turn off the steam release switch. Unplug the plug, entwine the cable to cable distal
and wipe the appliance with dry cloth, let it cool down then store it.
Storage
• Never attempt to cover the hot steam cleaner immediately after use.
• Don’t place it nearby any heat source.
• Place the appliance in a dry ambient with good ventilation.
Warranty Conditions
This household steam cleaner C5 has 1-year warranty since the date of purchase.
The conditions of warranty are as following:
• The warranty will not cover for the parts or spare parts that is worn due to normal usage.
• ELVIRA accepts no liability for faults in your appliance in the event of noncompliance
with the specifications of the warranty conditions or failure to follow the operating or
maintenance directions included in this instruction manual.
• Warranty will be terminated if the appliance is modified or repaired by other person,
not ELVIRA service agents.
• This appliance is for household usage. The warranty will be terminated if the appliance
is used for commercial purpose.
• The warranty will not cover for the unit that is not fully paid or the term of payment has
not been completed.
• The warranty will not cover for the damage that occurred by accident, lost or stolen.
• The warranty will cover only for the unit that serial number indicated on the warranty
card attached.
• For your right to claim warranty, customer has to show warranty card to ELVIRA service
agents before using the service.
• Whenever there is any problem occurred, please take your appliance to ELVIRA service
center nearby.
