Thank you for purchasing STORMER - ELVIRA Household Steam Cleaner
+ Steam Mop.
This powerful steam cleaner removes dirt, kills bacteria and completely disinfects
a wide range of surfaces without the use of chemicals. So versatile it can be
used for cleaning windows, bathrooms, upholstery, garden furniture, cars and
cleaning clothes. The steam cleaner is also ideal for disinfecting refrigerators,
baths and cleaning oors and walls.
Please read the instructions carefully before rst usage and pay special attention
to the safety warnings. Place it where easy to access whenever you need.

• Don’tdamagepowersupply.Holdtheplugtounplugsmoothlyandstraightly.Don’tpullcable.
• Don’tpullorcarrytheappliancebythepowercord,usethecordasahandle,closeadoor
onthecord,orpullthecordaroundsharpedgesorcorners.Keepthecordawayfromheated
surfaces.
• Don’thandletheplugorsteamcleanerwithwethandsoroperatewithoutshoes.
• Don’tattempttouseforcleaningswitch,powersocketorothercurrentcarryingappliance.
• Don’thardlypull,rollorpresssteamtube.Aseverevibrationwilldamagetheappliance.
• Closesecuritycap(1)tightlybeforeplugin.Thesecuritycapmustnotbeopenedduringuse.
• Don’toverll(notover250ml.),oritwillcauseunnecessarypressure.
• Neverputdescaling,aromaticordetergentproductsintothesteamcleaner,asthismayclog
nozzleordamagetheappliance.itisunsafetouse.
• Don’tputtheapplianceonfabricorothermaterialthatwillblockairowunderneath.
WARNING: Never jet steam against person or any animal.
Never attempt to touch steam.
Unplug the steam cleaner before and after use.
Be cautious of hot steam at all time.

Inspect the steam cleaner before start:
• Inspectsteamcleaner’sinputandoutputcableconnectionandplug.Checkiftheinputpower
supplyisincompliancewiththeelectricparameterrequirement.Ifsteamcleaner’scableorsteam
hoseisdamaged,contactELVIRAservicecenterforrepairing,changingthequaliedsparepart.
• Don’tusetheproductwithadamagedpowercord.GotoELVIRAservicecenterfor
replacement.
After Usage:
• Topreventsteamcleanerfromanaccidentaloperation,alwaysunplugfrompowersupply.
• Don’tplacethesteamcleanernearbyanyheatsourcesuchas,re,radiator,heater,airblower,etc.
• Neverattempttocoverthehotsteamcleanerimmediatelyafteruse.Leaveitforcooldownin
airowarea.
• Storetheapplianceindoorinacool,dryarea.
Maintenance and Service:
Ifanyoffollowingproblemsisfound,pleasetakethesteamcleanertoELVIRAservicecenter.
ELVIRAqualiedtechnicianmustdoreparationinordertoavoidahazard.
• Iftheapplianceoranypartoftheapplianceisdamaged.
• Ifsometroubleisfound.
• Ifsteamorwaterisleakingfromtheappliance.

Safety Features

• Anautomaticpressurereleasefunctionwillautomaticallyreleasetheexcesspressureifthe
pressureinthetankbecomestoohigh.
• Thepowercordisinsulatedtohelpprotectitincaseofcontactingwithwater.
• Automaticbuttonlockatsteambuttonwillhelppreventunintentionallypressthesteambutton.
OPERATION
How to Use
Step 1 Putthesteamcleaneronasturdy,stableandlevelsurface,removethesecuritycap,
andinsertthefunnel.
Step 2 Pourdesiredamountofwater(250ml.)intothetank(donotoverlltank)usingthe
measuringbeaker.Replacethesecuritycapandrmlysecure.
Step 3 Checkthepowercordandplugtomakesuretheyareingoodcondition.Inserttheplug
intothemainspowersupply.
Step 4 Thesteamerneedsapproximately3-4minutestoheatthewaterandcreatethesucient
steam.Releasethebuttonlockandpressthesteambuttonlightlytotestit,checkand
seeifthesteamisbeingreleased.
Step 5 Releasethebutton,andthenattachoneofthecleaningattachmentsdependingonwhat
functionyouwanttoperform.Pressthesteambuttonagaintostartthecleaningprocess.
Step 6 Whenyouhavenishedcleaning,unplugtheappliancefromthemainspowersupply.
Step 7 Pressthesteambuttontoreleasethepressureuntilnomoresteamcomesout.
Step 8 Unscrewthesecuritycapslightlytoreleasetheremainingsteam.Pouroutremaininghot
water.Becautionofhotwater.Allowthesteamcleanertocooldownforabout5minutes.
Onceithascooleddown,openthesecuritycapcompletely.

Step 9 Usethefunnelandmeasuringbeakertoaddsomecoolorwarmwateriffurthercleaning
isrequired.Totalquantityofwatershouldnotmorethan250ml.
Step 10 Replacethesecuritycapwhenyouhavenishedaddingwaterandrmlysecureinplace.
Step 11 Afterusage,allowthetanktodryoutcompletely.Wipetheoutsidebodyofthesteam
cleanerwithacleandrycloth.Keeptheapplianceindrycoolplace.
Note:Thepowerlightwillilluminatewhentheapplianceisconnectedtothemainspowersupply.
It’sindicatingthattheapplianceispoweron.
Fitting and Usage of Attachments
Pleasenote,toinstallanyoftheheadsontothenozzle,aligntheridge,nexttothearrowmark,
Withthesinglelinemarkedonthemainunitandrotatetheheadclockwiseuntilitlocksinto
Position.Toremoveanyoftheheads,simplyrotatetheheadanti-clockwiseandremove.
Cautions: Metaltipsonnozzleswillgethotduringuse.Don’ttouchhotsurfaces.Allowthe
attachmentstocooldownbeforereplacingthemwhiletheapplianceisbeingused.
Disinfection and Sterilization
Installthestraightnozzle(16)ontotheshortspraynozzle(Seegure1below).Aimthelong
Sprayheadattheareathatneedsdisinfecting,andpressdownthesteambuttontoreleasehigh
temperaturesteam.

Removing Stains from Clothing
Installtheroundbrush(14)ontotheshortspraynozzle(Seegure2).
Passthebrushgentlyovertheclothing,inalldirections,toremovethestainandpressthebutton
toreleasethesteam.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Beforecleaningunplugtheappliancefromthemainspowersupply.
• Surfacecleaning:Wipethesteamcleanerwithasoftdampclothusingmildliquiddetergent,
thenwipedry.
• Tankcleaning:Dependingonuseandyourhardnessofwater,approximatelyevery2-3months
itisrecommendedthatyoucleanthetankusingadescalertoremoveanymineraldeposits.
• Partscleaning:Washthepartsaftereveryuse.Keepthemstoredinacooldryplace.
• Thissteamcleanerusestapwater.However,inareaswithhardwater,distilledwatershouldbe
usedforbetterperformance.
• Fillthewatertankfollowingthedescalermanufacturer’sinstructions.
• Donotoperateandreleasesteamwhilstthedescalerisinsidethetank.
• Unplugthemachineandallowtocoolbeforeemptyingthewaterfromthetank.
• Rinsethetankwithcleanwater.
Note:Donotaddanydetergentsorchemicalstothewaterwhilstcleaning.Onlycleanwateris
allowed.
Cleaning Doors and Windows
Installtheheadforthegarmentsteamer(17)ontotheshortspraynozzle.Attachthe
Garmentsteamercloth(11)ontotheheadforgarmentsteamer(17)thencleanthewindow/door
bypressingthesteambuttonatregularintervals.Toremoveexcesswaterfromthewindow,
Removethegarmentsteamercloth(11)andclipontheglass-cleaningblade(9)ontotheendof
theheadofthegarmentsteamer(17)(Seegure3and4).

Installtheoorsteamerextensiontubes(7)ontotheshortspraynozzle,andthenattachtheoor
mopsteamer(10)ontotheendofit.Placetheoormopsteamer(10)ontodirtyoor,andthen
pressdownthesteambuttontoremovedirtandstainsfromtheoorandcornersoftheroom.

Thissteamcleanerhas1-yearwarrantysincethedayofpurchase.Theconditionsofwarrantyare
asfollowing:
• Thewarrantywillnotcoverforthepartsorsparepartsthatiswornduetonormalusage.
• ELVIRAacceptsnoliabilityforfaultsinyourapplianceintheeventofnoncompliancewiththe
specicationsofthewarrantyconditionsorfailuretofollowtheoperatingormaintenance
directionsincludedinthisinstructionmanual.
• Warrantywillbeterminatediftheapplianceismodiedorrepairedbyotherperson,
notELVIRAserviceagents.
• Thisapplianceisforhouseholdusage.Thewarrantywillbeterminatediftheapplianceisused
forcommercialpurpose.
• Thewarrantywillnotcoverfortheunitthatisnotfullypaidorthetermofpaymenthasnot
beencompleted.
• Thewarrantywillnotcoverforthedamagethatoccurredbyaccident,lostorstolen.
