Read this manual carefully before using your
skateboard for the rst time.
WARNING!
• ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET WHEN RIDING.
Never ride on wet surfaces, rain, slippery
or damaged surfaces, steep slopes,
heavy trafc, railway tracks, gravel, rocks
or any other obstacle that may cause loss
of traction. Avoid driving at night without
strong front and rear lights.
• DO NOT USE AN ELWING BOARD ON
SLOPES or at speeds where you would
not be safe controlling a non-motorized
skateboard. In the event of interference
or battery failure, you may have to rely on
your skateboarding techniques such as
foot braking or power slide to stop.
• AVOID WATER. Riding in wet conditions
or through puddles can damage the
electronics on the motherboard and
result in loss of power or sudden board
shut down. Do not ride in wet conditions
or through puddles. Damage to the
motherboard due to exposure to water is
not covered under warranty.
• IMPORTANT! Keep your ngers, hair and
clothes away from motors, wheels and all
moving parts.
• RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Please do not
open the battery box without consulting
our support, otherwise the warranty will
be void.
• DO NOT OPEN THE ELECTRONIC
COMPARTMENTS without the help of
our technical team or you will lose your
warranty.
• YOUR BOARD CAN LOSE BRAKING AND
ACCELERATION AT ANY TIME. Braking
when the battery is full can cause the
board to over-tension and stop suddenly.
Radio interference, unintentional use of
the throttle, and other factors can cause
loss of power and braking. Be careful
to always be able to control your speed
without power assistance.
• BRAKING DOWNHILL CAN CAUSE THE
BOARD TO STOP. To avoid power surges,
the remote control will warn you with
vibrations and then the braking will stop.
Stop safely before this happens and ride
on at surfaces or uphill to discharge the
battery before descending.
• THE ACCELERATOR IN 2nd, 3rd AND
4th MODE IS EXTREMELY SENSITIVE to
make the board responsive and perform,
but it can easily knock you off your feet.
Make sure you are comfortable with the
1st mode rst, then use the other modes
carefully.
• HIGH SPEED AND SLOPES CAN BE VERY
DANGEROUS. Be extremely careful when
pushing the limits of the board, even if
you are an experienced rider. Accidents
can cause serious injury or death.
• CARS AND OTHER VEHICLES CAN KILL
YOU. Be extremely careful when driving
in the presence of other vehicles. Drive
carefully and keep in mind that other
vehicles may not see you. Be aware of
and follow the laws in your country that
govern the use of your board on public
roads, bike paths, pavements, or other
areas where you can ride.
• ELWING DISCLAIMS ITS LIABILITY
FOR ANY EVENTS that may be related
to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or
conduct in water by the user.
• Prolonged exposure to sunlight can
discolour or weaken plastic enclosures,
as they are not UV rated.
• Avoid SHOCK TO THE BATTERY by
dropping or throwing it.
Welcome to the Elwing team!

2. Good position
1. «Goofy» or «Regular» ?
Basics
ELWING skates have a lot of power.
Follow the guidelines below to ensure a
safe ride:
• Operate the throttle wheel gradually.
• Keep a comfortable distance
between your feet.
• Keep the centre of gravity as low as
possible.
• Lean forward when accelerating.
• Lean back when braking.
REGULAR
LEFT foot in front
GOOFY
RIGHT foot in front
If you kick a ball with your right foot, you
are probably GOOFY.
If it is with the left foot, then you are
probably REGULAR, although this is not
always the case!
• Try both positions to nd the one you
are most comfortable in.
• If you don’t know which foot to
choose, one advantage of being
GOOFY is that you can see the trafc
better.
