Amechanical watch lives
through its heartbeat –
the balance wheel!
To start up the movement,
please wind the crown
for about 20 turns.
The spring tension is
achieved through the
movement of a weight, the so-called “rotor” at the base of the movement.
Through this motion the movement is wound up.

1Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.
2Turn the crown to set hour and minute hands.
3Push the crown back to the normal position.

The accuracy of the movement of a mechanical automatic timepiece is
naturally not to compare with a quartz watch. Slight differences +/- are
normal, mainly in case of high differences in temperature.
Setting The time

1Pull the crown out to the 1st position.

Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the date.

Turn the crown clockwise to set the weekday.
3After the date has been set, push the crown back to the normal position.
!Since the change of date with mechanical watches takes place between
9pm and 4am – please never change any adjustments within this period,
because you would interfere in the wheel balance causing damages.
!Some ELYSEE watches have a screw down crown.First screw the crown
to adjust the time. Please do not forget to screw the crown after adjusting
the time!

3 ATM Resistable agains splashes, raindrops, exudation etc.
5 ATM Water resistant, do not wear while swimming or taking
a shower.
10 ATM Watch can be used for swimming or snorkeling.
20 ATM Can be used for swimming, snorkeling and diving.
