2.6 OPTIONS
Here below the main options which could be installed in RAH/PAH Ka series:
AAmperometer:Electrical device to measure the absorbed electrical current intensity.
AE Electricalpowersupplydifferentthanstandard:Especially 230 V three-phase, 460 V three-phase. Frequencies 50/60 Hz.
BT Lowambienttemperatureoperation(downto-8°C): Voltage-cut off Electronic device for the continuous modulating voltage control of the
condensing pressure through the variation of the fan rotation speed, allowing unit operation till -8°C (Alternative to BF and EC).
BF Inverter driven condensing pressure control (down to -20°C): for the modulating control of the condensing pressure through the
continuous variation of the fans rotation speed allowing unit operation till -8°C (Alternative to BF and EC).
CF Soundproofedcompressorscabinetwithstandardmaterial:Insulation of compressors by a cabinet with prole and panels made of
hot dip galvanized sheet and powder painted, coated with soundproong material ashlar type and vibration dampers under compressors. Access panels
can be easily opened thanks to a triangular wrench. (Available only for STANDARD version)
CFU CFU Soundproofed compressors cabinet with increased thickness material: Compressors cabinet insulation with re-and-
sound-proof material with high density and increased thickness (standard in low noise version).
CS Compressorsinrushcounter:Electromechanical device positioned inside the electrical board, recording the total inrush starts of compressors.
DS Star/Delta:Electric device of close transition type to reduce the inrush current, provided with short circuit safety by mechanical interlock.
EC Axialfanswithelectroniccommutatedmotor:Made of high-performance composite material, with external rotor directly coupled to a three-
phase electronically commutated motor (EC), they continuously regulate the speed through a 0-10V signal, completely managed by the microprocessor.
Thanks to a more accurate adjustment of air ow, they allow the unit operation with an external air temperature up to - 20 °C. (Alternative to BT and BF;
Available only for RAH Ka range)
GP Condensingcoilprotectiongrid:Metal painted grid to protect against accidental impacts.
GP1 Technical compartment protection grid: Metal grid to protect the compressors section against accidental impacts if the soundproofed
compressor cabinet is not provided.
GP2 Technical compartment protection grid: Metal grid to protect the compressors section against accidental impacts if the soundproofed
compressor cabinet is provided.
IH RS485Serialinterface:Electronic card to be connected to the microprocessor to allow connection of the units to external CAREL supervision
systems for a remote control and service of the unit.
IM Seawoodpacking:Fumigated seawood case and lm added with slowly vaporizing corrosion inhibitors completely nitrates and heavy metals (VCI)
free, suitable for long sea transports.
LI Liquidinjection:Mechanical device allowing a better compressors cooling at very high compression level operation.
M12÷M25 Modulatingcapacitycontrol:By means of some valves installed on compressors, depending on their quantity, the capacity is modulated from
12-25% to 100%.
MV Buffertank:Of suitable capacity provided with expansion vessel, safety valve, water gauge, water charge and discharge valves, air purging valves.
OS Oilowsafetyswitch:In-built in the compressor oil separator, it signals any decrease of the oil level.
P1 Pumpgroup:Chilled water pump group consisting of a single pump, expansion vessel, safety valve water gauge, water charge and discharge valves,
air purging valves, electric pump drive. The pump is of mono-bloc centrifugal 2-pole type for standard version, 4-pole for S version.
P1H Higheravailablepressurepumpgroup:Chilled water pump group consisting of an high external pressure single pump, expansion vessel,
safety valve water gauge, water charge and discharge valves, air purging valves, electric pump drive. The pump is of mono-bloc centrifugal 2-pole type
for standard version, 4-pole for S version.
P2 Doublepumpgroup(onlyoneworking):Chilled water pump group consisting of two pumps in parallel, expansion vessel, safety valve, water
gauge, water charge and discharge valves, air purging valves, water shut-off valves on suction and check valve on discharge side for each single pump,
electric pump drive. The pumps are of mono-bloc centrifugal 2-pole type for standard version, 4-pole for S version.
P2H Higher available pressure double pump group (only one working): Chilled water pump group consisting of two higher external
pressure pumps in parallel, expansion vessel, safety valve, water gauge, water charge and discharge valves, air purging valves, water shut-off valve on
suction and check valves on discharge for each single pump, electric pump drive of the pump. The pumps are of mono-bloc centrifugal 2-pole type for
standard versions, 4-pole for S version.
PT In-linetwinpumpgroup(onlyoneworking):Chilled water pump group consisting of a twin pump group with a single impeller body and two
separate electric motors. The hydraulic kit consists of an expansion vessel, safety valve, water gauge, water charge and discharge valves, air purging
valves, electric pump drive. The pumps are of mono-bloc centrifugal 2-pole type for standard version, 4-pole for S version.
PF Safetywaterowswitch: Installed on evaporator, it switches off the unit in case of water ow rate lack too the evaporator.
PA Rubber-typevibrationdampers:Bell-shaped vibration dampers supports for isolating the unit (supplied in kit), consisting of base and bell made
up of galvanized steel and natural rubber mixture.
PM Spring-typevibrationdampers:Spring-type vibration dampers support, for insulating the unit (supplied in kit), mainly indicated for installation
in difcult and aggressive environments. Made of two steel plates containing a suitable quantity of harmonic steel springs.
