Enapter makes dierent versions of
electrolyser based on your needs.
Electrolysers come in AC/D
or DC/DC versions as well as air-
cooled or liquid-cooled versions (LC).
All informaon about Enapter devices can be
found at handbook.enapter.com

Insert the two supplied j umpers into the Dry Con. port
in the 3 rd and th posions on the front panel of the
EL. If you want/need to implement a safety chain ,
please refer to Dry Contact Connecon G uide in the
owner ' s manual.
Plug the power cable into the P ower port
and switch the power on.
AC – protecve earth on the le , live on the right 
DC – posive on the top.
Screw supplied antenna to the Ant. port.

Y ou must follow owner ' s manual for all steps , including
pipe and wire connecon , operaon , transportaon ,
storage and disposal.
3 W ater Inlet R e q uirements
H2 O I N port is used for automac re  lling from connected
demineralised water source during normal operaon ,  rst re  lling
and maintenance. During hydrogen producon water consumpon
rate is around 400 mL/hr.
С onnect electrolyser to water suppl 
only through water puri  caon system
according to the O wner ’ s M anual. W ater
conducvity must be < 2 0 µ S/cm (at
2 5° C) and pressure between of 1- 4 bar.

P roper inlet water source must be connected before
proceeding to the next steps.
Flush all water pipes with demineralised water before
connecng your device to ensure nothing is stuck in the lines.
4 Check H2 V ent and O 2 V ent Lines
It is the installer ' s responsibility to regularly check and maintai 
H2 V E N T and O 2 V E N T lines , as well as keeping the lines free of ice
and any obstrucons.
M ake sure there is no
obstrucon into the H2 V E N T
line. T his can cause irreparable
damage to your hydrogen
system

O 2 V E N T
N o blockage should be present
on O 2 V E N T on the user side of
the interface.
DO N O T connect H2 V E N T line with O 2 V E N T line
Mixing these outputs is extremely dangerous.
Always check H2 vent and O 2 vent lines for blockage and
damage.
U se Enapter W ater T ank to solve the problem of
unstable water supply. It can be  lled manually with
prepared demineralised water as well as directly
connected to water source.
Enapter W ater tank deliveries pressure up to 2. 7 5 bar.
W ater conducvity must be < 2 0 µ S/cm (at 2 5° C).

Cooling W ater ports (normally closed) are used for cooling the system
using water or a water glycol mi x ture. Check the manual to guarantee the
opmal temperature as a funcon of your  ow rate and ambient
temperature.
T he required  ow rate is 1-2 L/min and input pressure can ' t e x ceed 4 bar.
M ake sure you are not reversing the I N and the O UT .

Connect the Electrolyser to Enapter Cloud
Access the Electrolyser’s Web GUI
Open the Enapter App and follow the steps to create your sit
in the Enapter Cloud.
Make sure antenna is turned on (blue led steady on the front panel
of electrolyser).
Power on the device.
Press the Add device buon.
Scan QR-code located on the front
side of the device and follow the
Enapter app instrucons.
Device connected.
To download the Enapter mobile app, sca
the QR-code or visit app.enapter.com from your
Android or Apple mobile phone.

Skip this step for isolated setups with no internet connecon.
For Isolated setups with no internet connecon use Enapter Web
GUI (Graphical User Interface) to monitor and control the device
locally through a web browser.
Insert the opposite end o 
the pipe to the F ill /D rain P ort.
C onnect the re  lling pipe to the bag
using the special connector.
Press E x it M aintenance M ode buon.
Electrolyser Is Ready for H ydrogen Producon.
Prepare electrolyte bag with 2L of the 1 , 54% KOH solu  on
and supplied re  lling pipe. Do not dilute the electrolyte !
Make sure electrolyser is in maintenance mode and drained.
Instruc  ons on how to access Electrolyser’s Web Interface are
available at handboo k .enapter.com.

F ollow Enapter App or Web GUI instruc  ons to re  ll
the electrolyser for the  rst  me.
For sites with a local WiFi network. T his connecon type allows
users to access web interface of mulple electrolysers ' and also
use it via mobile web browser.
C onnecon via E TH (Ethernet) port on the front panel of the
device allows users to access the web interface of a single
electroly z er.
7 The F irst Electrolyte Re  llin

T o start re  lling carefully raise the electrolyte bag above the device.
Re  lling will start automacally.
Pour out all of the soluon from the electrolyte bag.
D isconnect re  llin pipe from the Fill / Drain port.
Electrolyser is Ready for Use !1 0
During normal operaon the L EDs indicate the status of the
machine. Monitor device acvity in Enapter App, Enapter Cloud or
WE B GUI.
