Bezpečnostné pokyny
Spotrebič nie je určený na používanie osobami (vrátane detí) so zníženými fyzickými, zmyslovými, alebo
mentálnymi schopnosťami, alebo s nedostatkom skúseností a vedomostí, pokiaľ im osoba zodpovedná za ich
bezpečnosť neposkytuje dohľad, alebo ich nepoučila o používaní spotrebiča. Deti by mali byť pod dohľadom, aby
sa zaistilo, že sa so spotrebičom nehrajú.
Ak je sieťová šnúra poškodená, musí ju vymeniť výrobca, jeho servisná služba, alebo podobne kvalifikovaná osoba,
aby sa predišlo nebezpečenstvu.

Nikdy nedovoľte obsluhovať zariadenie osobám, ktoré si nepreštudovali návod na použitie.
Obsluha zariadenia je zodpovedná za spôsobené škody a nehody.
Príprava na použitie
Používajte primeraný ochranný odev s úplnou ochranou končatín a ochrannú obuv.
Nikdy nepoužívajte zariadenie keď ste bosí, alebo nosíte sandále.
Pred začatím skontrolujte plochu a odstráňte prípadné kamene, konáre, drôty, nečistoty a pod.
Poškodené a opotrebované diely vymeňte. Používajte len originálne náhradné diely
Napájací kábel
Pracujte s bezpečnými napájacími káblami s triedou ochrany IP44.
Používajte proti-prepäťové zariadenie.
Zabezpečte aby sa napájací kábel netrel o ostré hrany, špicaté a ostré objekty. Nestláčajte kábel do dverí,
alebo okien.
Prevádzka
V prípade zablokovania noža vypnite motor a odpojte napájací kábel z el. siete.
Odstráňte prekážky a skontrolujte poškodenie. V prípade poškodenia nepoužívajte zariadenie a odneste ho
do odborného servisu.
Pred použitím skontrolujte stav napájacieho kábla – poškodenia a opotrebenie. Nepoužívajte poškodený
kábel.
Napájací predlžovací kábel musí voľne ležať. Umiestnite ho tak, aby zariadenie cez neho neprešlo. Napájací
kábel sa nesmie dostať do blízkosti noža.
Zariadenie používajte len za denného svetla, alebo za dobrých svetelných podmienok.
Nepoužívajte zariadenie na mokrej tráve.
Stále majte pevný a stabilný postoj.
Kráčajte, nikdy nebežte.
Stále kráčajte smerom k svahu, nikdy nie nahor a nadol.
Buďte mimoriadne opatrný pri zmene smeru na svahoch.
Zariadenie nepoužívajte na príliš strmých svahoch.
Dávajte veľký pozor keď sa otáčate, alebo keď ťaháte zariadenie smerom k sebe.
Pred transportom vypnite zariadenie. Nikdy neprechádzajte so zapnutým zariadeným cez iné povrchy ako
je tráva a taktiež pri prenose zariadenia z pracovnej plochy.
Nikdy nepoužívajte zariadenie s poškodenými ochrannými krytmi a bez iných bezpečnostných zariadení.
Podľa pokynov v návode naštartujte motor a nohy držte v bezpečnej vzdialenosti.
Nenakláňajte zariadenie keď štartujete motor, jedine ak zariadenie musí byť naklonené pre štart. V takom
prípade nenakláňajte zariadenie viac ako je potrebné a nadvihnite len časť ďalej od obsluhy. Rukami pevne
držte zariadenie keď ho vraciate do pôvodnej polohy.
Končatiny nevkladajte pod alebo do blízkosti rotujúcich dielov.
Nikdy nezdvíhajte a neprenášajte zapnuté zariadenie.
Pred ponechaním zariadenia osamote, pred čistením, kontrolou, údržbou a prácou na zariadení najprv
vypnite motor a vytiahnite napájací kábel zo zásuvky.
Po narazení na cudzí predmet, skontrolujte zariadenie či nie je poškodené a vykonajte opravu ak to je
nutné. Ak zariadenie nezvyčajne vibruje okamžite zistite dôvod prečo.
Montáž
Montáž dolného dielu rukoväte (obr. M1)
Vložte skrutku (A) z vnútra cez ľavú stranu, tak aby obe konštrukcie boli uchytené (1). Z vonku umiestnite diel (B),
obidva výstupky sa musia uchytiť do dier na boku (2). Vložte diel rukoväte (N) do dielu (B). Umiestnite diel (B)
s veľkými otvormi smerom von. Utiahnite krídlovú maticu (H). Rovnakým postupom zmontujte pravý diel
rukoväte.

Montáž spínača, odľahčenia ťahu a svoriek (obr. M2).
Zložte držiak spínača (1) a umiestnite spínač (H) na hornom diely rukoväte tak aby sa obe výstupky uchytili do
otvorov (2). Zatvorte držiak spínača (1) a vložte odľahčenie ťahu (I). Dvoma skrutkami (K) utiahnite spínač
a odľahčenie ťahu (I). Na tyč rukoväte svorkami (L) pripevnite kábel spínača (3).

Prevádzková doba
Dodržujte hodiny nočného pokoja.
Všeobecné
Pred použitím zariadenia, trávnik musí byť upravený do výšky 2,5-3,5 cm. Z trávnika odstráňte pokosenú trávu.
Trávnik by mal byť prevzdušnený niekoľkokrát do roka. Uvoľnený materiál môže byť zozbieraný záchytným košom
(ak je súčasťou balenia).
Nastavenie hĺbky (Obr. B1)
Pracovnú hĺbku je možné nastaviť do 3 úrovní. Potiahnite nastavovacie rameno (1) smerom od bočného krytu
a nastavte v požadovanej pozícii. Nastavenie oboch ramien musí byť na rovnakej úrovni.
Nižšia a stredná úroveň:
Odstraňuje mach a burinu z trávnika.
Najvyššia úroveň:
Odstraňuje zvyšky trávy z trávnika.
Vloženie napájacieho kábla do odľahčenia ťahu (obr. B2).
Vložte konektor napájacieho kábla (3) do zásuvky spínača (J). Potom veďte kábel (4) von mierne v slučke okolo
kolíka (5) odľahčenia ťahu (K).
Pripojenie k elektrickej sieti
Parametre elektrického zdroja musia byť zhodné s parametrami uvedenými na typovom štítku zariadenia.
Elektrické zdroj musí byť chránený 10 A ističom.
Pozor:
Používajte prúdové ochranné zariadenie so zvyškovým prúdom nepresahujúcim 30 mA.
Zapnutie motora (obr. B2)
Stlačte tlačidlo (1) a držte. Zodvihnite páku (2) a uvoľnite tlačidlo (1).
Vypnutie motora (obr. B2)
Uvoľnite páku (2).

Primontovanie zberného vaku (obr. 3)
Zodvihnite ochranný kryt (P). Zaveste zberný vak na dve háky.
Údržba
Dôležité! Pred údržbou a čistením stále odpojte napájací kábel z elektrickej siete.
Po ukončení práce vyčis te zariadenie – bez použi a vody. Pozor: ven lačné otvory musia byťčisté bez
nazbieraných zvyškov trávy a machu!
Pravidelne kontrolujte u ahnu e skru ek, ma c a či je zariadenie v bezpečnom stave na prevádzku.
Pravidelne kontrolujte opotrebenie/poškodenie zberného vaku.
Vymeňte opotrebované a poškodené diely. Používajte len originálne náhradné diely.
Dávajte pozor pri nastavovaní zariadenia. Dávajte pozor aby ste si neporanili a nezachy li prsty o nože, alebo
pevne namontované diely.
Na zariadenie nestriekajte vodu.
Skladujte v suchom prostredí, mimo zdroja tepla a mimo dosahu de .
ELEKTRICKÁ BEZPEČNOSŤ
Pred odpojením napájacieho kábla je nutné najprv vypnúťzariadenie spínačom.
Pozor: Nezapájajte predlžovací kábel priamo do kosačky. Namiesto toho odneste zariadenie do kvalifikovaného
servisu. Vyššiu bezpečnosťzabezpečíte ak kvalifikovaný elektrikár nainštaluje prepäťový chránič30 mA.
V prípade ak nemáte nainštalované dané bezpečnostné zariadenie, alebo v prípade ak si to neželáte mať,
odporúčame si zabezpečiťprúdový chránič.
Varovanie! Použie prúdového chrániča, alebo iného prerušovača obvodu nezbavuje obsluhu zariadenia od

DOUBLE INSULATED
Your Scarifier is double insulated.
This means that all external metal parts are electrically isolated from the power supply. This
is achieved by placing an extra insulation barrier between the electrical and mechanical
parts. Double insulatedmeans greater electrical safety and obviates the necessity of having
your scarifier earthed.
KNOW YOUR SCARIFIER
Read all of this manual carefully, observing the recommended safety instructions before,
during and after using your scarifier. Following these simple instructions will also maintain
your scarifier in good working order.
Familiarize yourself with the controls on your scarifier before attempting to operate it, but
above all, be sure you know how to stop your scarifier in an emergency
Retain this user manual and all other literature supplied with your scarifier for future
reference.

1.General Advice

this machine.

This appliance is not intended for use by children or other persons without assistance or supervision if
their physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
3. Preparation for use
• While operating the appliance, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers.
• Do not operate the appliance when barefoot or wearing open sandals.
• Thoroughly inspect the area where the appliance is to be used and remove all stones, sticks, wires,
bones, and other foreign objects.
• Before using, always visually inspect to see that the rotating parts and cutter assembly are not worn or
damaged.
Replace worn or damaged parts in sets to preserve balance.
4.Cable
·Please work with safety cables.
·The attachments of the connection cables must be rubber or covered with rubber and comply with the
Standard.
·Attachments must be splash-proof.
·Use a leakage-protective system (RRC) with a leakage current of no more than 30 mA.
·Attach connection cable to traction relief. Make sure that in does not rub against edges, pointed or
sharp objects. Do not squeeze cable through door or window gaps.
·Switching devices must not be removed or bridged (e.g. tying of switching lever to guide spar).
5.Use/operation
·Switch off the motor and pull out the plug from the mains socket if the blade roller becomes blocked.
·Remove any obstructions, and check for damage to the machine.Any damage must be repaired before.
·The machine is taken back into service.
·Inspect the extension lead for damage and ageing before use. Replace the lead if necessary. Do not
use the machine if the lead is damaged.
·The extension lead must lie free. Position the extension lead so that the machine cannot run over it.
The extension lead must not come close to the blade roller.
Operate the appliance only in daylight or in good artificial light.
Avoid operating the appliance in wet grass, where feasible.
Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
Walk, never run.
Always walk across the face of slopes, never up and down.
Exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
Do not operate the appliance on excessively steep slopes.
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the appliance towards you.
Stop the rotating parts if the appliance has to be tilted for transportation. Do not operate the cutting
means when crossing surfaces other grass, and when transporting the appliance to and from the
working area.
Never operate the appliance with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices, for example
deflectors and/or grass catchers, in place.
Switch on the motor according to instructions and with feet well away from rotating parts.
Do not tilt appliance when switching on the motor, except if the appliance has to be tilted for starting.
In this case, do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and lift only the part which is away from the
operator. Always ensure that both hands are in the operating position before returning the appliance
to the guard.
Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts.
For rotary mowers, keep clear of the discharge opening at all times.
Never pick up or carry an appliance while the motor is running.
Pull the plug from the socket:
whenever you leave the machine;
before clearing a blockage;
before checking, cleaning or working on the appliance;
after striking a foreign object. inspect the appliance for damage and make repairs as
necessary; if the appliance starts to vibrate abnormally check immediately.
Assembly
Assembling bottom handle part (fig. M1)
Insert securing screw (A) form inside thorough the left side element, so that both projections catch in the
recesses (1). Position insulation element (B) from outside; the two nubs must catch in the holes of the
side element (2). Position handle element (N) in the insulating element (B). Place insulating element (B)
so that the large opening points to the outside. Then tighten wing nut (H).
Assemble the right handle element in the same order.

Attaching switch, strain relief and clips (fig. M3)
Fold up switch bracket (1) and position switch (H) on the upper handle element so that the two nubs
catch in the holes (2). Close switch bracket (1) and insert cable strain relief (I). Then fasten switch (H)
and cable strain relief (I) with the two screw (K). Fasten switch cable (3) with the clips (L) on the handle
rod.
Operation
Operating times
Please check noise abatement regulation prevailing in your country.
General
Before using the machine, the lawn must be moved to a height of about 2.5-3.5 cm. Remove the cut
grass from the lawn. The lawn should be scarifiered several times each year. The loosened material can
be removed with a catch bag*. Afterwards, the lawn should be fertilized.
*Accessories at additional cost.
Setting the working depth (Fig. B1)
The working depth is adjustable to 3 heights. Pull adjustment arm (1) away from side cover and allow
catch in desired position (2). Adjust the height alternately left and right by only 1 position. The adjustment
arms must always be in the same height position.
Lower and middle position of scarifier cylinder:
Removes moss and weeds from the lawn.
Top position of scarifier cylinder:
Remove grass remnants from the lawn.
Insert connection cable in the strain relief (fig. B2)
Insert coupling of connection cable (3) in the socket of the switch (J). Then guide the cable
(4) from outside in a slight loop over the peg (5) of the strain relief assembly (K).
Connection to the power outlet

(230-240 volt AC, 50 Hz). The machine can be connected to any power outlet that is protected by a 10
amp fuse.
Note:
Use a residual current protection device with a residual current of no more than 30 mA.
Motor on (fig. B2)
Press button (1) and hold.
Lift lever (2) and release button (1).
Motor off (fig. B2)
Release lever (2).
Attaching catch bag *(fig. B3)
Lift protective flap (P). Hang catch bag (1) with the hooks on both bolts* * of the side elements.
Maintenance
Important! Disconnect from power supply before performing maintenance and cleaning.
Clean the machine without water after each use. Please note: the air intake slots the electric motor must
be freed from grass and moss accumulations!
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight to be sure the appliance is in safe working condition.
• Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioration.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety
Be careful during adjustment of the appliance to prevent entrapment of the fingers between moving
blades and fixed parts of the appliance.
Do not spray machine with water.
Store machine in a dry room.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Your mower should always be switched off at the mains before disconnecting any plug and socket
connector or extension cables.
Note: Do not wire an extension cable directly into your mower yourself. Instead, take your mower to your
nearest Performance Power service agent. Increased safety can be obtained by having a qualified
electrician install a high sensitivity (30mA) circuit breaker in the house wiring. If you do not have such a
circuit breaker installed, or you do not wish to have one installed, then we strongly recommend that the
electric power to your rake be supplied through a high sensitivity residual current device (RCD). The
RCD is designed to provide a high degree of personal protection against harmful electric current
should fault conditions occur.
Warning! The use of an RCD or other circuit breaker unit does not release the operator of your rake
from the safety instructions and safe working practices given in this manual.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

V dobe záruky vám záručný servis vykoná opravy všetkých závad vzniknutých následkom výrobnej chyby
bezplatne. Pri uplatnení požiadavky na záručnú opravu musí byť spolu s prístrojom predložený úplne a čitateľne
vyplnený záručný list. Pri odosielaní prístroja do opravy, dopravné náklady hradí zákazník. Originálny obal od
výrobku starostlivo uschovajte.
Záruka sa nevzťahuje na:
