Your Yagi antenna, UHF, has the pre-adjusted elements for the enre operang band according to the
model. Therefore, it only requires adjustment of the Gamma coupling in the following way:
1.- Start with the "Capacive Tube" inserted completely and the "Inducve Adjustment Plate" at a
distance of 10-12 cm from the center of the antenna. Support the antenna on a temporary mast of
more than 3 m and move away from any metallic object (roofs, vehicles, etc.) Place a wameter and
inject power through a 50 Ohms coaxial cable. This should not be greater than 20 m thick, RG-8 or
beer.
2.- Make different measurements of reflected power, moving the "Inducve Adjustment Plate" one
cenmeter out and reading in each step. It is necessary to leave the tube in its inial posion always
that is, fully introduced.
3.- Try to minimize the reflected power by making movements of 1/2 cm or less with the "Inducve
Adjustment Plate" and when it is convenient. You can also get a lile "Capacive Tube" (If you move
the capacive tube, do not move the adjustment plate simultaneously)
4.- The adjustment of the antenna ends when the lowest value of reflected power is obtained.
5.- Any quesons, call our Engineering Department at SYSCOM.
