1. In some operating systems, the driver software must be installed before the operation.
2. o not drop or allow forceful impact to the product, or install it in locations exposed by
heavy vibrations, as the product will be damaged.
3. o not disassemble or modify the product in any way. isassembly or modification may
not only void warranty but also could cause damage.
4. o not use or store the product in damp locations or under high temperature.
5. Liquid entering the product also may cause damage or lead to failures or electric shock.
6. o not remove the memory cards from card reader while LE indicator is flashing, which
indicates the device is being accessed by the computer.

Thank you for purchasing the equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card Reader 3.5”. The SuperSpeed
USB 3.0 interface provides a reliable and fast connection for PCs, consumer electronics and
communications devices.
The equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card Reader 3.5” is a powerful device to expand the interfaces of
your PC. The easy-to-mount mechanical design with packed screw set allows you an easy
installation. In addition, the slot-to-slot data exchange feature enables your data management
among several devices at the same time and is more efficient.

4. Hardware Installation
Caution:
 Electrostatic discharge may damage electronic components. Ensure the system is
properly grounded before using.
 Handle the product by the plastic stand. o not touch any electronic components.
 Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cord before installing the product.
Please follow the steps below to install the equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card
Reader 3.5”.
1. Remove the cover of your computer. (Refer to your computer hardware manual for
instructions on removing the cover.)
2. Remove the 3.5” drive bay’s plastic cover on the PC front panel.

3. Insert the equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card Reader 3.5” with cables into the drive bay.
4. Mount the Internal Card Reader firmly in both tracks of the drive bay with the packed
screw set.
5. Connect the USB cables between the equip® USB 3.0 Internal Card Reader 3.5” and the
USB 3.0 ports.

Note: If your computer’s USB Ports are outside the chassis, please remove the panel as below
first.
6. Plug back the power cord. Power on, then start to install the driver of the USB 3.0 Internal
Card Reader 3.5”.
5. Utility Installation
After you installed the Card Reader to your PC, you need to install the Icon isplay utility.
(1) Insert the utility disc into the optical drive
(2) Click the folder “IconMan_R_V1.20_(x )”
(3) Click the file “IconMan_R_V1.20_(x )”

(4) Click “OK” to complete the installation.
6. Interface
Caution:
The card reader provides 5 slots for different types of memory cards application. Each memory
card must be inserted into the correct slot. o not attempt to insert the cards in reverse
direction with force. This may damage the memory cards or the slot.
