Please read and follow all instructions and
safety guidelines in this manual.

General Use
• The speaker generates magnetic elds, which
can interfere with the functioning of medical
devices such as pacemakers.
• Always keep a distance of at least 3.9 in / 10
cm between a medical device and the speaker.
Please consult your physician if you have any
questions.
• Only use the speaker as described in this user
manual. Any other use may result in property
damage or risk of injury.
• Do not use the speaker in environments where
there is a risk of explosion, such as areas of
excessive humidity or power surges.
• Only use the speaker where wireless
transmissions are permitted.
• Do not use the speaker on or near any heat
sources such as radiators, heat vents, stoves,
or other apparatuses (including ampliers) that
produce heat.
• Do not allow the charging cable to come into
contact with hot surfaces.

Battery Warnings
• Improper handling of the speaker can cause the
rechargeable battery to explode or cause a re.
• Do not subject the speaker to excessive warmth
or heat such as direct sunlight, re or similar.
• Leaked battery uid can cause chemical burns
if it touches skin or other parts of the body.
If you notice that battery uid has leaked, do
not allow it to touch your skin, eyes or mucous
membranes.
• If you have touched battery uid, immediately
rinse the affected areas with plenty of clean
water and promptly contact a physician.
• Use protective gloves to handle a leaking
battery and wipe off any battery uid with a dry,
absorbent cloth.
• Keep the charging cable out of areas where
people walk often. Place the cable where it will
not be tripped over.
• The speaker is intended to be used only with the
charging cable provided by the manufacturer.
• Unplug the speaker during lightning storms or
when unused for long periods of time.
• To maintain the safety of the speaker, only
a qualied repair person using identical
replacement parts should service the speaker.
• To disconnect the speaker from AC power,
disconnect the charging cable from the wall
outlet.
• This speaker is not to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the speaker by a person
responsible for their safety.
• The speaker is not a toy. Do not allow children to
play with the speaker.
• Do not use the speaker if it is damaged, not
working, or if the charging cable is damaged.

Water Resistance Rating
• To ensure that the speaker is water resistant,
remove all cable connections and tightly close
the rubber cover.
• Exposing the speaker to liquids without closing
the rubber cover may result in permanent
damage to the speaker.
• Do not expose the speaker to water while
charging, as doing so may result in permanent
damage to the speaker or power source.
• Listening at a high volume for prolonged periods
of time poses a risk of hearing loss. Avoid
listening at a high volume for a prolonged period
of time.
• Maintain adequate distance from the speaker
and never hold the speaker to your ear.
• Set the volume on the playback device to a low
level before starting playback on the speaker. If
you set the playback device to full volume, very
high noise pressure may cause organ damage
and adverse psychological effects. Children and
pets are particularly at risk in this respect.
Warning:
Risk of Hearing Loss
The speaker features IPX6 water resistance, which
can resist high-pressure water streams but cannot
be submerged in water. You can use this speaker
at any place where water exposure is possible but
there is no chance of completely submerging in
water.

Functions & Controls
A. LED Indicator Light
• Blinking blue light indicates Bluetooth pairing mode.
• Solid blue light indicates Bluetooth is connected.
• Rapid blinking blue light indicates the speaker is at
minimum or maximum volume.

• Press to increase volume.
• Press and hold to go to the next track.
C.
• Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn speaker on/off.
• Press to play/pause track.
• Press and hold for 8 seconds to restart the speaker.

• Press to cycle through connections
(see Connections, page 7).
• Press and hold to enter Bluetooth pairing mode (see
Bluetooth Pairing, page 8).
• Press to accept or end a call.
• Press and hold to reject a call.

F. Microphone
• Receives sound input during calls.
G. Battery Indicator Lights
• Each blue light represents 25% charge.
• All 4 blue lights will turn solid when the speaker is
fully charged.
H. Rubber Cover
• Protects the connections from water and moisture.
• Keep the rubber cover closed to preserve the IPX6
water resistance rating.

A. AUX Input
• Plug in the 3.5 mm AUX cable to play music with a
wired connection.
• The speaker will automatically switch to AUX when
the cable is plugged in.
B. USB-C Port
• Charge the speaker by connecting the USB-C cable
to a DC 5V adapter and plugging into an outlet.
You can also charge by plugging the cable into a
powered USB outlet.
• Connect the USB-C cable to a computer to transfer
audio les onto a Micro SD card.
C. Micro SD Card Slot
• Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB) with audio les
(see Transferring Files onto a Micro SD Card, page
8). If the speaker is on, it will automatically begin to
play the les.
• Press and at the same time to toggle
between normal playback and shue.
• Supported audio le formats: MP3, WMA, WAV,
APE, and FLAC.
Connections
Note: Press to cycle through Bluetooth, Micro
SD card, and AUX playback. A Micro SD card or
AUX cable must be inserted in order to select those
playback options.

Bluetooth PairingTransferring Files onto a
Micro SD Card 1. Press and hold to turn the speaker on.
2. The LED indicator light will blink when the
speaker is in pairing mode. To manually put the
speaker in pairing mode, press and hold .
3. Enable the Bluetooth on your phone or audio
player.
4. Navigate to Bluetooth settings and scan for
discoverable devices.
5. Connect to the speaker named:
Etekcity VivaSound
1. Press and hold the to turn the speaker off.
Insert a Micro SD card into the speaker.
2. Connect the speaker to your computer using the
USB-C cable.
3. Press the to access the Micro SD card on
your computer.
4. Transfer audio les from your computer onto
the card.
Note: You can also transfer audio les onto a Micro
SD card using other methods, such as a Micro SD
card adapter.
Supported audio le formats: MP3, WMA, WAV, APE,
and FLAC.

Using the Bluetooth
Speaker
1. Press and hold to turn the speaker on.
2. The speaker will automatically connect to the
last paired device. If the last paired device is not
available, it will go into Bluetooth pairing mode.
Note: Fully charge the speaker before rst use. When
fully charged, the 4 battery indicator lights will turn
solid.
Note:
• To manually put the speaker in pairing
mode, press and hold .
• Optionally, press the while in pairing
mode to reconnect to the last paired device.
3. Play music or audio les from the connected
device and it will play on the speaker.
4. Optionally, play music or audio les from an AUX
cable or Micro SD card (see Connections, page
7).
5. Adjust volume, navigate tracks, and accept
or reject phone calls using the controls (see
Functions & Controls, page 6).

1. Power on both speakers.
2. Place both speakers in Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. On one speaker, press and —at the same
time. This will become the left speaker.
4. A stereo link will automatically be established
with the other speaker, making it the right
speaker.
5. Connect your phone or audio player to the left
speaker and begin playback.
6. To disconnect the speakers, press and —at
the same time on either speaker. Then, repeat
with the other speaker.
True Wireless Stereo
(TWS) Pairing
With TWS pairing, the speaker can connect to
another Etekcity VivaSound™ Portable Bluetooth®
Speaker to provide left and right stereo sound.
Note:
• The TWS pairing will save and reconnect when
the speakers are turned on again.
• While connected, the LED indicator light on the
left speaker will show all status changes, while
the LED indicator light on the right speaker will
stay solid.
• Use either speaker to adjust controls such as
volume and playback.
Care & Maintenance
• Store speaker in a cool, dry place away from
direct sunlight.
• To preserve the health of the battery, fully
charge the speaker approximately every 6
months, even if it is not in regular use.
• Clean the surface of the speaker with a soft,
dry cloth.
